as a X10 user since 2011, i am loving how people suddenly go crazy over the X10, i am like "finally people realize this is a gem pocket camera. I remember when i was travelling back in 2018, people were like amazed with my X10 and asked what camera it was, at the time i felt weird that why are people amazed with my X10? but i realized that not a lot of people actually knew about X10 only until recently. If you can get your hands on the X10, you are the lucky ones because it's super rare to find them in great condition nowadays
It's a wild bit of resurgence how Fuji has been able to take over people's brains for the past maybe two years. They've existed for many years, but under the shadow of Sony, Canon, and even Nikon. Now, I bring my Fuji on every professional shoot. It usually gets about 30% of the final photos. The rest goes to my Sony. Thanks for the reply!
Another great video Aaron, I like how your work is centered around the psychology of street photography. There are a lot of mundane photography channels on RUclips but yours is a welcome breath of fresh air. Good luck.
I just bought the x10 a couple weeks ago and I’ve been really enjoying it. I used to own the x100v a couple of years ago and I think this little x10 is more fun to shoot with.
Super video!! Fujifim X10 is awesome I had the camera few years back and regret that I sold it! 😢 I seen your video and from another RUclips channel called Tommy Northpole from Norway and both of you have almost the same principles when it comes to old digital cameras and photography in general! And now thanks to both of your videos it's time to get my Fujifilm X10 back!!!!
Aw yeah, you'd best be getting it back. It's a really fun camera if you're able to be patient. Not all cameras need to be lighting fast. Appreciate the comment!
It really is! I recently sold mine to a fledgling photographer and sometimes miss it. However, I have a similar point-and-shoot with the same sensor in it if I'm looking for that image type. Happy shooting!
I also use x 10 I've been taking analog photos for more than 10 years and I was looking for a camera that would carry it with me without losing that feeling.I bought the x10, I'm very pleased with the daylight performance, but it's a terrible camera in low light. What do you think about the Xf10, it has a much larger sensor, and people are very satisfied, do you think it's worth changing?
Bought an x10 that should be arriving Friday. Are the film simulations on the x10 any good like the other fuji cameras or do you recommend shooting RAW?
You're a lot more limited on the old cameras. You can still adjust the highlights and shadows, WB tint. No grain, color chrome, etc. I'd recommend shooting RAW + JPG and seeing what works for you. The JPGs are a little flat but still usable. The RAW files are very nice.
@@aaronsambeyfilm Awesome thanks! I wish there were more videos on the x10 so I appreciate you putting out the content! Bought it so I can just take it with me everywhere
You can just shoot both. I got a 32 gb memory card for mine at about $10. You can shoot over 1200 jpgs and raw pics with it. For most people that is good for a day.
Honestly, I use it with automatic settings + some film simulation, highlight/shadow adjustments. Practice getting really stable while you're out shooting. This camera isn't super fast at taking photos so you need to remain still.
The X10 is pretty limited in terms of film simulations. I have two custom looks, though. 1) Astia, WB 6000 R+4, B-4, H-1, S+2 2) Monochrome, and the rest is the same

I got one Mint In Box just last week. It is practically new. Me likes my new shiny. I have not gotten outside with it yet. Hopefully…soon!

I really appreciate that.

Someone gave me an old Canon 30D crop sensor 8mp . I showed him my photos from it. I think he had a little cry after. Not getting it back 😄👊

@@aaronsambeyfilm Your welcome 🤗 and I will get my old camera 📸 back I might wait until I get back to the USA maybe I can get it for cheaper.
In contrast I find that the X10 performs well in low light.
Very nice video! Also wow the x10 seems like a great option for me, thanks for bringing it to my attention
I bought mine around 2011 -12 while on holiday in Korea. It’s amazing camera

Love my X20... 😊
They're so cool. Extremely versatile for such a small camera.
I love my X-20 too!
well said. I personally agree.
your so underrated. love your style
Underrated or underseen? Hahaha -- I'm pretty new to RUclips. Would be nice if I had a wider audience though. Thanks for the kind words!
loved the video and shots, your edits on those shots are awesome 👌👍😉
Thank you!
Saw your funny interaction with Steven. I subscribed haha

@@petercj91096 That's exactly why I bought it. I'm bringing it with me on a trip this upcoming week. Hoping to put it to work.

what settings do you use? i have a hard time using x10 with moving subjects, too shaky sometimes.

Do you have any recipe or photo setting for x10

subssss !!!!!!!!!
Sooc or edited ?
These are edited. I'm amazed how good the raw images are out of that little camera. I definitely recommend it.
@@aaronsambeyfilm ah ok, all on raw mode ?? thanks
@@FredericB-ef1rc I shoot on RAW + JPG. Often, I like the JPG enough but when I want to edit, I like having the option.
