Another interesting video, thanks Tommy. I’ve had my X10 from new and still find your videos very helpful, especially as you are so willing to experiment with the settings. Liked the cliffhanger, can’t wait to find out what you bought.
I am so happy to hear that you enjoy this videos and shooting with x10! I feel like every time I use this camera there is something new that I can try in my next photowalk! Cheers 😊✌️
Nice work. I agree that an iPhone does a totally adequate job of filming, especially when the focus is getting your point across. I enjoyed the video, and as I look at your pictures on instagram, I am seeing some great work. I don't have any fujifilm cameras, but I have several types of random cameras that I enjoy getting out and using. It isn't about the megapixel count as much as the creative choices made. Best to you, and I look forward to viewing more of your photos.
Thank you! I am happy that you enjoyed my work! In the end camera its just another tool to create. Welcome to the channel Martin! New videos and photographs are coming soon! Especially that we got covered with snow here in Oslo! 😁✌️
Take it from someone who grew up in the westcoast but live in Oslo now: the weather here is just beautiful. When it *does* rain, I always think ”Yeah, it probabyl should rain now, we need the moisture”.
Sorry for really long comment. I understand if you won’t read it, and the most important thing is this: thanks for making the video. Was fascinating to hear your thoughts! --- The fact that outside-lens OVFs like the X10 (or X-Pro, or Leica M for that matter) is a little bit innacurate is a feature, not a bug in my book. I almost exclusively use the OVF on my X-Pro3. I sometimes can be too caught up in having just the right composition, but when I use the OVF I know it’s not completely accurate anyway, so I just take the shot and move on. It’s been great for my photography! iPhones are great for video by the way. My cameras are technically speaking probably capable of high quality video than my iPhone… but damn, getting to that level is hard, and I’m just not an video person. iPhone video just looks so damn good straight out of camera (kinda like Fujifilm is with JPEGs!). Does upgrade to the X10 even exist? A really compact camera with a zoom and zoomable OVF? That’s such a unique thing! The only I can think of is the X20. With the X30 they ditched the OVF. If your willing to have something a litte bigger I suppose one or the X-Pro cameras with a zoom lens could provide a similar experience (like the XF18-55mm). Looking aside from the OVF, an extremely underrated camera is the Panasonix LX100 II. It’s really small, yet it has zoom and crucially: it has manual dials (like the Fuji X100, etc). There’s also a Leica branded version in the form of the D-Lux 7, but it’s literally the same camera. Curious about what you bought though!
Thank you! 😁and sorry for the cliffhanger, but that was an unexpected impulse buy for me 😅 I will reveal the story in the next episode! The ovf of X10 its a feature for me as well! I dont use it that much, but I love to have it! It gives the joy of taking the picture without worrying about anything and getting some interesting results! Cheers✌️😁
I made my own strap, had a piece of strap, measured how long I need it. Sew together the ends and taped it. Added two small key rings and it works great :) other than that sometimes some small hand bags have a nice straps that you can use for the cameras.
I believe 12 mpx from this great sensor is more than enough to print good quality prints, dynamic range looks good if you dont push with the edits too far. Good luck!@@jakubskorus

Hi Tommy, my brother-in-law gave me his x10. I don’t like the Fuji strap. What strap are you using? The diameter looks much smaller than 9mm…
I made my own strap, had a piece of strap, measured how long I need it. Sew together the ends and taped it. Added two small key rings and it works great :) other than that sometimes some small hand bags have a nice straps that you can use for the cameras.
Hi! One more question - have you ever print out your photos from this camera?
No, I did not, I operate mostly in digital world. But your question makes me curious. I plan to make some photo book. Its time to find out :)
@@TommyNordpole so I'm waiting for the results 😉 I'm thinking about printing a bit bigger format, more like fine print 40x60 cm 🤔
