So it’s BATMAN DAY!! It’s the 85th Anniversary of Batman! And for today we are taking a look at a classic animated film from the year 2000. This is BATMAN BEYOND RETURN OF THE JOKER. In the Gotham City of the future, an older Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) trains a college student, Terry McGinnis (Will Friedle), to replace him as Batman. Meanwhile, the Joker (Mark Hamill) has re-emerged as the leader of the Jokerz, a gang inspired by their evil hero, who was previously thought to be dead. Terry tries to stop the theft of communications gear by the Jokerz, but the Joker narrowly escapes. The truth about the Joker's life and death slowly emerges through violent confrontations.

This was actually my introduction into Batman. Based on the poster when I was a kid, I actually thought Jokers face was green
The most memorable thing I remember from this film is the flashback sequence, where we see Batman and Batgirl track down Harley and Joker, to find Robin. I remember there being two versions of Joker’s death. One, being shot by a lethal gag gun, and two, being electrocuted to death after Tim made that last ditch intervention by saving Batman.

When I first watched this , it was on t v cartoon networks Movie theater, But I saw the clean version, Instead of shooting him ,he electrically himself to death, You guys should react to that version.!!
A live action Batman Beyond movie with Micheal Keaton would be nice. I heard a rumor that wb cancelled the Batman Beyond movie but is very unlikely they were planing on making the movie. Since they wanted to replace Batman with batgirl in the dceu. Same thing with Supergirl replacing Superman in the dceu. They must of mistaken the now cancelled batgirl movie. Since the plot would have batgirl taking over for Batman to defend Gotham. Bruce would have guide batgirl just like he did for Terry in Batman Beyond.

Yo, White Gold is a genius. If they do a live action, Jamie Lee Curtis would be perfect for old Barabara Gordon. Michael Keaton is obviously old Bruce Wayne. I think Robby from Cobra Kai should be Terry.

27:14 they censored 🤬 the real Joker’s death in Batman beyond return of the joker 🃏 with offscreen slipping through the water 💧 and accidentally switch the electrical panel on as the 📀 version or blu ray.
