I pay for play. I don't waste time on "dating" women I've got absolutely nothing in common with and who have nothing to talk about which describes the vast majority of women in south east Asia. I've reflected on this and the truth is the only thing I want from them is sex. And let's face it most of them want money from us, nothing else. Therefore pay by the night. In case they start talking about anything personal I tell them I don't care about that and they shut up and understand it's useless to try to coerce me into a "relationship".
I'm Filipino in the Philippines but I think number 5 is the most important and glaring. If you guys think there is a surplus of girls in the Philippines, think again, or thrice. Most girls that are openly available have huge life issues and they want a guy to fix it or help them out of it. Additionally, the Philippines is not as poor as it was decades ago-most that struggle today are those girls with poor life decisions by their family and self.

I always wonder why guys who move to places like SE Asia market themselves as "foreign men with foreign money" but then are surprised that they only come across girls who want an ATM/ transactional relationship. It’s challenging to find a serious foreigner these days. Many are only interested in women in their early 20s or are just looking for vacation girlfriends. My advice as someone who has travelled all over the world and was in the Philippines for 3 months. If you want to get a woman that's good quality, marriage material etc. Look above all for a woman that is from a middle class family. If she's poor, there's a high chance she will ask for money a lot, will ask you to support her family members, and guaranteed she will be traumatized and have many emotional issues because of how she grew up. If you meet a woman from a rich family, she will probably be spoiled, have princess syndrome, and will be expecting a LOT from you. So look for a woman that is in the middle and who not only appears to be mentally stable but who will consider your feelings too.

Overall, it seemed like a much more positive and dynamic social dynamic in Vietnam. Also, I'd like to date someone that's not 40 years younger than me. Difficult in Vietnam, and at all ages, most are chubby in the Phils. Real life is not RUclips vids. Take dating off the table as a priority, and things get a lot more relaxed and chill, for example making genuine social connections and becoming part of the community. Dunno about romance, it's early days yet.
In the Philippines, day game rules. Forget about dating apps. A lot of the women on them are scammers and so they won't even agree to meet you; they're looking for men they can bleed from a distance. Everything you do from the very beginning should be aimed at setting up that first date. And it shouldn't be a fancy meal for her friends and family; it should be more like a coffee date. At that point all you're trying to establish is that she's not a flake or a scammer. Then slowly progress from there.

Thats how filipino culture works, No dating…. Just courting then turns into real relationship especially when the girl is exclusive to you. I like this video. 6 years ago I started courting my filipina, I noticed she could be struggling to pay for groceries, as in the for the past few weeks she didn't shop for food or anything else. Having children is a big thing for young cute Filipinas. As an older guy, I don't want any more kids. I can't support kids once I retire on a pension in a few years. I have had a few Filipinas tell me that it is a deal breaker to not have kids. The Filipinas that are OK with not having kids are older women who already have kids or young hustlers who will tell you anything.
Great comment. I try to tell men the same thing. If you're fixed and find a lady who is single and has no children best to move on, and let her find a guy who's okay with having more kids. Should an older man have more kids? My partner and I have a daughter together, and it brings me great joy. In younger days, as a working father, you don't have the time or energy for them. It also motivates you to take better care of yourself, and brings you closer to your partner. The extended family will not be as important to her as her/your own child, at least in most cases.
Dated and lived with five different Filipinas over the last 35 years. I found the younger ones 18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27 were only interested in a sugar daddy. Those I used as much as they used me. The two that got pregnant I never planned to be with long term but morally made the choice to try and make a go of it because of the kids sake knowing their mother wasn't in love with me. I had told myself I was never getting married but would date and stay single the rest of my days here on earth. I met my wife who owned and ran her own business a very smart woman with a lot going for her. We dated for years then moved in together for a year before getting married. It's been 7 years now so far so 😊 good 👍 My wife had a great life before I came along, she doesn't need me but wants me in her life to make a difference ❤️ and I do everyday.

Oh hell yeah, hahahaha. You will pay for everything if you go in a group anywhere. My wife, I and kids went to a swimming pool and there were 40 of my wife's relatives outside waiting for us to get in. They were waiting for me to pay the 50 pesos entry fee. Another time I was invited to meet my girlfriend's Auntie 25 years ago and there was 30 people waiting to meet me but I was expected to feed and supply drinks for all of them without me given any notice. Over 25 years everytime we go to dinner with the relatives I have always paid.

Not only the Philippines, I had asked out a Chinese Malaysian girl who was a colleague at work. She reacted as if I had asked to marry her. Long story short: I later visited her in Malaysia and her brother offered his car for my use while I was in the country, her parents (no English) had prepared an impressive feast and I quickly realised that there was the expectation that the sound of wedding bells were just around the corner! After a few days she "offered" herself to me even though she was a virgin. I told her (perhaps a bit late) that this wouldn't happen. I felt like I was tumbling into a kind of vortex where extricating myself would be almost impossible. The surprising thing is that this girl had been educated in England and spoke with a rather refined accent, yet her culture didn't really involve "dating" and she had little to no experience of western relationships. I felt bad, stupid, clumsy and shame-faced that I let it get almost to the point of no return.
If you're a 50+ foreigner looking to hook up with an under 22-year-old Filipina, you need to be realistic. Know that they're looking for financial and economic salvation and accept the fact that you're no longer a spring chicken that would bag an attractive young woman if you did not have the means to provide for her. It's a two-way street, you have to provide what she needs to get what you want.
When you see these guys (I can think of two vloggers around 70) and they show their wives/girlfriends on their channels, if you really listen to their subjects, it is all about providing. I don’t blame them nor am I criticizing them because 99% of men who go to the Philippines are there for the women. I have been there and done that. If you are in a hurry, what they ask is peanuts to you when you need better communication. The question is "how much"? To get to an internet cafe, accomplish daily needs, transportation to and from is $5 a day. If she is asking for $400, that is a red flag. There is another aspect as well. Is she trustworthy? The best way to establish that is to simply give her a lot of money, like $1000, and then see who she is. A GRAND!? You will not get sophisticated information for less and that is nothing compared to what it will cost you to simply do what is basic in what is needed.

I have a lot of experience with Asian women. For context, I am 66% British Isles ancestry and 34% West African. Although my sensibilities are generally English, due to my African heritage and what I perceive as a lack of social nuance among some Asian women, they often see me as Black-almost like an 'undercover' white guy. I've attended medical school with them, lived in their neighborhood for 30 years, and worked in medicine alongside them. My last girlfriend was half Chinese. From my experience, Western men are often naive about Asian women: their inner qualities are quite different from their outward beauty. Also, if you observe carefully, you'll notice that Asians rarely offer personal compliments spontaneously unless they have an ulterior motive. Why would any man want to commit to that? In my opinion, the best women are of Northern European heritage, but modern-day feminism has made it challenging to find a good match there.

Honesty and trust is a must before entering into a long term relationship. Just think if you had a business partner who lied to you and you could not trust them. Would you still go into business with that person. However, that is hard to figure out here. You can't always tell if they are being honest with you. They will tell you that they are telling the truth, but then down the road you find out that some or all of what they were saying were lies. I have seen/experienced this so many times over the past 15 years of time in the Philippines, from my own relationships and those that I observed living in apartments near me. Now I am sure the Filipinas probably hear lies coming from the foreign guys as well... Have seen many married men come over here looking for a good time, telling the Filipinas that they are single.

Ive dated lots of girls in Philippines. Its common they tell a sad story where they need money, on the 3rd date. No matter what they say, they will send regular cash to the mom. Thats not including regular emergencies where they need money right Now. You wont get thanks and they wont give you anything back for your birthday. Its common for girls to have a baby in the province being raised by an aunty, or even adopted by them. Never bring a girl to live overseas. When you leave she will call crying saying she lost her job . If you don’t live in the PH then don’t date Filipinas. She is likely married and making a living off you and 5 other guys .
Maybe do what I did - don't trust online relationships, and perhaps meet in person. I met my Filipina wife in person in HK 10 years ago. She comes from a humble (poor) background, but she was up-front about it as soon as we met.We are around the same age, we have a family, property, income and business interests. Whenever she has a large financial outlay, such as buying a car, she asks me if it is ok. I support her daughter and niece at university and employ her family in our business. If you get scammed/deceived it's probably down to you.

I was married to a Philippine woman in 1995. I could write a book about the experience. Watch these videos and read all the books you can find first. Then visit the Philippines for a month first to see if this is something that works for you. I would suggest Cebu. It really is a different culture. One suggestion also if you do meet someone you like is to study her family. If you want to know what your Philippine wife will be like in 10 years study, her parents carefully because the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Chances are good that she won't be too much different than her parents. If you get any red flags, move on. They can capture your heart so go slow so as not to be blinded by their beauty. My wife was half Spanish, half Philippine. Also remember you can take your wife out of the country, but you can't take the country out of your wife. Look before you leap.

My advice as someone who has travelled all over the world and was in the Philippines for 3 months. If you want to get a woman that's good quality, marriage material etc. Look above all for a woman that is from a middle class family. If she's poor, there's a high chance she will ask for money a lot, will ask you to support her family members, and guaranteed she will be traumatized and have many emotional issues because of how she grew up. If you meet a woman from a rich family, she will probably be spoiled, have princess syndrome, and will be expecting a LOT from you. So look for a woman that is in the middle and who not only appears to be mentally stable but who will consider your feelings too.

Overall, it seemed like a much more positive and dynamic social dynamic in Vietnam. Also, I'd like to date someone that's not 40 years younger than me. Difficult in Vietnam, and at all ages, most are chubby in the Phils. Real life is not RUclips vids. Take dating off the table as a priority, and things get a lot more relaxed and chill, for example making genuine social connections and becoming part of the community. Dunno about romance, it's early days yet.

In the Philippines, day game rules. Forget about dating apps. A lot of the women on them are scammers and so they won't even agree to meet you; they're looking for men they can bleed from a distance. Everything you do from the very beginning should be aimed at setting up that first date. And it shouldn't be a fancy meal for her friends and family; it should be more like a coffee date. At that point all you're trying to establish is that she's not a flake or a scammer. Then slowly progress from there.

I was born in the philippines and left there at the age of 29, you are correct chad about number #4, that all the family member is also waiting for you to meet them. Thats how filipino culture works, No dating…. Just courting then turns into real relationship especially when the girl is exclusive to you. It’s acustom to the philippines that men provide for their family. Once you marry a filipina woman, you marry her whole family. If you can’t managed that. Filipina women is not for you.

It's all a game for centuries. When I was young, I was a tour guide in Japan and Guam. I speak Japanese well and grew up overseas. I used to have young girlfriends who had husbands. They used to use their husband's money to take me on vacations and buy me clothing and nice gifts. It's an old game in Asia. Now I'm 60 years old and still love these young, beautiful Asain ladies. I never forget the reality of human nature. Im sure I'm sending some young guy on vacation and buying his clothes. The good part is usually with age. Having children is a big thing for young cute Filipinas. As an older guy, I don't want any more kids. I can't support kids once I retire on a pension in a few years. I have had a few Filipinas tell me that it is a deal breaker to not have kids. Should an older man have more kids? My partner and I have a daughter together, and it brings me great joy. In younger days, as a working father, you don't have the time or energy for them. It also motivates you to take better care of yourself, and brings you closer to your partner. The extended family will not be as important to her as her/your own child, at least in most cases.

I have been there and done that. If you are in a hurry, what they ask is peanuts to you when you need better communication. The question is "how much"? To get to an internet cafe, accomplish daily needs, transportation to and from is $5 a day. If she is asking for $400, that is a red flag.
There is another aspect as well. Is she trustworthy? The best way to establish that is to simply give her a lot of money, like $1000, and then see who she is. A GRAND!? Honesty and trust is a must before entering into a long term relationship. Just think if you had a business partner who lied to you and you could not trust them. Would you still go into business with that person. However, that is hard to figure out here. You can't always tell if they are being honest with you. They will tell you that they are telling the truth, but then down the road you find out that some or all of what they were saying were lies. I have seen/experienced this so many times over the past 15 years of time in the Philippines, from my own relationships and those that I observed living in apartments near me. Ive dated lots of girls in Philippines. Its common they tell a sad story where they need money, on the 3rd date. No matter what they say, they will send regular cash to the mom. Thats not including regular emergencies where they need money right Now. You wont get thanks and they wont give you anything back for your birthday. Its common for girls to have a baby in the province being raised by an aunty, or even adopted by them.

Maybe do what I did - don't trust online relationships, and perhaps meet in person. I met my Filipina wife in person in HK 10 years ago. She comes from a humble (poor) background, but she was up-front about it as soon as we met.We are around the same age, we have a family, property, income and business interests. Whenever she has a large financial outlay, such as buying a car, she asks me if it is ok. I support her daughter and niece at university and employ her family in our business. If you get scammed/deceived it's probably down to you.

I was married to a Philippine woman in 1995. I could write a book about the experience. Watch these videos and read all the books you can find first. Then visit the Philippines for a month first to see if this is something that works for you. I would suggest Cebu. It really is a different culture. One suggestion also if you do meet someone you like is to study her family. If you want to know what your Philippine wife will be like in 10 years study, her parents carefully because the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Chances are good that she won't be too much different than her parents. If you get any red flags, move on. They can capture your heart so go slow so as not to be blinded by their beauty. My wife was half Spanish, half Philippine. Also remember you can take your wife out of the country, but you can't take the country out of your wife. Look before you leap.
