I'm someone in the mental health field who has heard a LOT of tragic background stories over the years. Really, the successes are a lot more surprising than the failures. This young woman has overcome so much. She's totally amazing!

The Philippines has so many stories like this young land. I can’t tell you how many I have heard over the years. It’s just the way things are. My wife’s family is poor and my wife had to work her way through college. She didn’t get help from here sister who was 3 yrs older. My wife has helped many of here relatives. Just how it works. When we visit the Philippines we always visit a Catholic Church that helps the elderly and mentally challenged people with medical, lodging and food. We bring many bags of personal items and other things including some treats to give to the church and its patients. We do the same thing for an abused child’s facility. It’s heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. My wife had been doing this for 15 years before I met her with one of the professors who worked at the local university.
Her English is exceptional - her communication is great - her beauty is there - she will find a good man that can take her to the next level - another scholarship if you want to frame it that way.
How can I reach out to this very strong young lady and send her some money. For me it would be money well spent. I’m very proud of this young lady, the future is bright for her
It's amazing how family will treat you! I distanced myself from my family not too long ago. Even my daughter. One thing I've noticed about family is that they only love you when they want something from you or when you can do something for them!
