I REALLY love my FOO.... BUT, such a bitter taste after losing 10k in stock, now 55k + on purchase of FOO.
The idea and design what potential that car would be also leaded me to invest into the company and the stocks, so can totally understand where you coming from and cool to see that you still love it with all the issues you said in the previous comment. Again I feel so sorry that you also lost so much money on the stocks and car...I think this is the next pitty a lot of onwer been also investors so you got double scamed...

@@darkrulierhard to explain, but we waited so damned long to actually get our FOO’s after putting deposits down that when we actually drive them its left us with a bittersweet feeling of “what if?”.. the car (with latest software) drives wonderfully and is super quiet and comfortable. I’m also out $5k in stock and now probably $60k++ on depreciation, but i love the friggin thing!
@darkrulier @memyselfundeye agree here it´s a pitty what the car could be it´s a bit of hate and love together hard to explain it sucks in so many ways but still also it´s a cool car what woudl had have good potential.

I hope you get is soon brother! Even don´t get is that it´s not given to all right now? I thougth it was told to them by the Amercian Authority to deliver it till the 20th. June?
Another buyer? What exactly are they going to buy? Fisker don't own anything! Except massive debt. There are no buyers, there are no prospective buyers even! Fisker Inc is dead now.
Forget software issues, there are no spares, no engineers, no support. Even people with windscreen replacements cannot have them done as no way to calibrate the sensors after.
Insurance companies now dumping cover for them. Toast!

Thank you for your videos on the Fisker Ocean. Curious where you got the 2.1 update? I am in the Florida and have not heard of anyone in the US other than dealers get 2.1 that I feel is legit. So far my experience has not been as bad as others. I just took a 1500 mi trip with my Ocean One and had minimal problems. My AC vents are the only issue and hope to get that repaired at some point. I am working around the AC vent issue until then. Thanks in advance for your response.
I got it via an OTA I´m from Germany may in Europe they a bit ahead with it? Also seen in forums that in the US you guys still not getting it, pretty strange as the Fisker been told to do it due the call back. That pretty good that you not facing so many issues there a builds out there that are pretty good. The AC vents is a bigger issue phasing it already the 3th time now.
I don’t think we will get any further updates from Fisker. Hopefully they will be able to complete all of the recalls as is both permitted and required by the bankruptcy court. Definitely join the FOA if you’re still an owner.
Agree 100% with you Jeffrey I also cross fingers that we get at least the recalls fixed because not this is the next majour issue we will face wih the car FOA is very important to join here as more people stuck together as better for the community.

Ev are carputors so its so important its got decent hardware and back up softwares
It is also with modern gasoline cars that´s getting more and more important because multiple function now steared with the computer inside the car not the mechanical parts anymore - you spot on here! So a car manufacture should be able to provide the consitence running of the car for years. Imagine what could happen you buy a car and after couple of years they decided not to cloud your car anymore and you may loose functions or they could brick your car if they like to.
Thank God I didn't go with getting my Ocean when they contacted me back in February, I did loose by $250 order fee though.

I haven't gotten my update as of yet.... and more and more things are going bad. The driver door handle has totally separated, I guess from the Houston heat. Windshield crack is almost all the way across now due to some stress fracture, even after getting it drilled 4 times .....oh, and air vents stuck closed once again
boah that´s just already a pitty by reading it. I feel so sorry for you. Yeah the airvents been also 3 times repaired and still not working proper at my end, too. Windhshield and the door handles is the next issues don´t even like to think about what else is getting wrong with the car and think about it´s just even max 12 months on the streets what happend after 18 or more...

So good words and very elegant said it´s really frustrating as you said that we been put into this situation makes me also said I was hoping to report positive things with cool clips on side with Fisker and the car I don´t like to be so negativ all the time. I have around 13.000km on the car so far drove a bit more with it as expected also due to the roadtrip we did. How about you?
I only have about 6.500km (4,000 miles); I’m a bit nervous about driving any great distance from home.
Totally can understand this not given you a good feeling driving long distance now with the waterpump issue, too...
Sad part is you people have paid for the features like ADAS which were not given with the car. This is scam no other word to describe it

I feel sorry for you and the way we all got scammed by Henrik.
Some were able to get out of the mess with a full refund, some others cancelled and losing their deposits and I guess some others will now have to fight to try to get something back... other than that, I hope Henrik is not allowed to create/run any other business anymore, this time he has gone too far.

@victormdp Hi Victor, thanks a lot it´s really a pitty when you expect and pay for something what looks pretty cool and then turns around that it´s not even 80% of what it should be...good for everybody that got something out of it and been able to claim money back. See it as you seeing it I also hppe that he will never be able to run a company again. Normally you say people learn out of mistakes but here was even getting wores and it not haves anything to do with the economics it´s just really poor management.

What are the economics of developing new software versions which would be purchased by at most 4,500 people? I think you all would probably have to non refund-ably pre pay and even then it would be hard to cover the cost
I guess this would be the way don´t know how it really works because not in the IT but in principal it´s like that. Could be also possible that the party agrees on a monthly fee or something e.g. 100 Dollar per month to get updates or functions to cover there cost for sure if a third party will take over the programming of the car it mostly not will be free. the only possibility would be that you make the source open for all and then you have developer may intressted to do this in the open source space - but again don´t have any idea if that model would work for an automotive related software.

Servus geht leider nicht das das der Henrik nicht wollte da die Software von Fisker so gut sein sollte das man das nicht installieren wollte....
@@gentlemensworld das ist ja nicht so der Bringer, ich nutze das jeden Tag alleine schon wegen RUclips Music und auch WhatsApp Nachrichten und auch Google maps.
Bin am überlegen trotz Insolvenz einen zu holen, wenn die preis noch fallen sollten
ne leider nicht, kannst du leider alles nur mit bluethoot machen. Klar wenn der Preis so ca. 20-25k ist denke ich ist das fair für was man bekommt ein hingucker ist das Auto auf jeden Fall.

Weißt du zufällig was an Assistent alles funktioniert, ACC und Co?
ja da machst Du auch wirklich nichts mehr falsch bei dem Preis solange noch alles geht. Leider geht eigentlich nichts so richtig nur der Tempomat und das auch nur ohne abstandshalter usw. bei neueren Fahrzeugen geht auch der Lane assist aber wohl auch nur sehr limitiert.
You’re the man Patrick. About the problems you asked for at the end, I’m a FOO owner $75k fu*d! But can say my car has been ‘ok’. Ive had tons of software issues, my vents are completely broke, Bluetooth sucks for my phone connecting, I still get ADAS issues, charge port, key fob, etc….
I just don’t understand that with everything going on with new vehicles being delivered short of what was sold and 3 or 4 recalls that will NEVER be dealt with, HOW DO WE NOT HAVE ANY RECOURSE!?!?!
The latest recall with the water pump can almost stop the vehicle on a highway I’m told, from 80mph to 10-20mph. This is a hazard!
Or that Fisker is going to have all the water pumps fixed on the fleet cars before our! WHAT IN GODS NAME!?!
There must be a way for recourse!!!!!!!

@@gentlemensworld Thanks bro, but it's not about me my friend, it's about you and the people who see what it actually can be. You should talk about how it can hook up to your house as a back up power generator if you haven't. Any panel from ecoflow or Anker will do.

It´s also pretty strange to me that they like to use the car for commerce use because it´s not liable at all still today with the update every day there are different failures different function not working etc. makes it not liable at all for a taxi kind of think.
Whos funding the supposed software 3 updates ?
I got 2 batches for 2.1 at least I recognized because you got just at the last batch the popup that your software is updated. Could be that in beetwen something been installed but can´t verify this at this stage. Just got the first thing when the car was behaving so badly what I was telling at the roadtrip video and then when all been going crazy with the car all light been on and the car even made the sound for driving etc. after that - took it about 3 hours and 10% battery it was said that the car was updated.
Rumors have it that 3.0 is being tested and is almost complete. Listen to Oliver's video 📹.
They just announced UK bankruptcy
A former mobile tech here in the States told me about 3 weeks ago that 3.0 is done but Fisker doesn’t know how to push it out.

yeah got told in March already that 3.0 is in the final stage from FISKER...when I was picking up the car 1 year ago they said already maximum 2-3 months and all software stuff will be finished and all functions will be avaiable...I can´t belive anything what is said from Fisker anymore! As much I would also hope the show keeps runing or the software would be going forward I can´t belive in that.
I dont believe anything from Fisker/Corporate, but the techs i have dealt with are extremely reliable and so far 100% accurate with whatever they have told me regarding software updates/ repairs.
I have not heard personally from them anything about 3.0 but will ask in a few weeks when he comes to update mine to 2.1
