One of the best PR moves you could ever make, man. Really clever and btw. absolutely killer website!

i think last 2 sections can be better, if you got some help from an illustrator for those card illustrations, they could have made it more subtle. currently the card illustrations are very stock like.
also i wonder if last section could have some interaction to show all the links. I dont think much thinking went into the social media links section. it feels like a T shaped arraw of icons.

1:20. The "give value first" happens on other channels. Not his site. His customer avatar isn't someone who needs to go to his website to find out what he does or who he is. Majority of the time you don't need to overdesign a site and, tbh, he's already proved that with his current site making hundreds of millions of dollars.

I think it would be better to use more flat colors instead of gradients. I know they look cool and all. But it doesn't give off a professional feeling.
    The hero section looks great,
the about section can be a little condensed in terms of the text,
In the services section, i personally think it would be better to just have bold text with no illustration (it kind of breaks the flow),
the footer section should be black in my opinion with white elements on top.
That's my take on the redesign.

Very well organized. The video in the background looks amazing-great great work.
I would change the line-height on the paragraphs, especially in the About section (that section looks a bit bland). The interactions could be smoother IMO and I am also not a fan of the huge social media icons. Overall it is awesome! I tried creating a Landing Page for Alex H. book launch once as a personal project but the result wasn't nearly as cool as the one Ran did.

  • @thejohnchambers

Great website! However, I have doubts that Alex will reach out right now because he's been putting out a casual vibe to his audience lately. That's why he dresses in beaters and shorts instead of suits and ties... So, having a cheap, simple website that is different from all the highest earning influencers is 1: setting him apart from the crowd and 2: giving him credibility as an everyman who just knows his stuff and doesn't need to flaunt it. And that last part is kinda true, 95% of the people going to his website are already mega-fans of his, so there's no need to invest in a clean, super nice website to win anybody over, he's already won them over with his content.
I'm sure in the future, he will shift towards a strategy where he does need to appear more professional and win strangers over on his website, but that's not right now. Good luck tho! I could be wrong!

this all goes into a great direction and i see the potential your ideas have but still, am i the only one that thinks it all looks quite cheap? it looks like someone tried to be really good and professional but failed... idk how to explain it, either way i get the direction and concept but the execution just isn't right. for example, the 3 illustrations that you created with the AI - yes it's kinda cool to use such technologies since they can easily come up with good looking and detailed illustrations - but in this case, i think it goes completely into a different direction than the one you set at the beginning by introducing the clean, bold, professional typeface. it doesn't match the vibe of the brand, nor the main design direction you went with. another thing im noticing, that just doesn't feel very professional - even when knowing who you are and what kind of great work you've done in the past, which i respect - is the footer, specifically the harsh gradient and the way the social links are placed. it feels imbalanced and just like there's not enough white space used, which -again - goes completely against the design concept.
these are just some of the things i noticed and wanted to let you know about - also just to give my comment some more reasoning.
lastly... i know this might sound very rude and like i'm a pro or anything - which i'm not - but i just expected you, Ran - especially since Flux Academy is teaching so many people (including me) and is one of the leading RUclips channels targeting UX/UI design - to be more... idk on point and simply just more professional. Thanks for your time and I - just so you know - will still be watching and enjoying your videos!

It is that simple - I don`t believe him/them. For me, this is such a red flag to have so bad website, this is so unpro. I am reading self-help books for about 10 years and his approach is more of the same, he is just repeating old stuff. If you want real knowledge, go back in history and study thing from there. He is just wuzz and fuzz and all this craze is ridiculous. For me this is all - one giant coach to coach to coach pyramid and the saddest thing is that all people are just following trends then trully find things for themselves. This is not a hate speach. I thing that all this mysterious and magnetism around this couple is pure marketing and they are saying it in the videos but people don`t realize it. Te only reason because they are what they are, because they are making you to believe that.
About the website - it is very interesting how many successful businesses are working with bad website or without good advertising. This is a good example that there is now one way to success.

It's good. However, I think whoever is going to Alex's website is a warm lead and quite possibly someone who knows him very well and is familiar with his work. Additionally, his website begins with a quiz very intentionally. Daniel Priestly talks about this.

Does his site have some design issues? Yes.
Is the sign-in flow gatekeeping? Yes.
Does the mobile design suck? Yes.
Does your design fix these issues? Yes.
Is your design more appealing? Yes.
Will he use your free design? Maybe?
    What's better?

Well. I disagree. First case - we as viewers can briefly learn about other businesses' mistakes. With well-pronounced critics. Second - another politically corrected shit that barely can bring us as design learners the value. BUT either way 99% that Hormozi won't use it cos the project was made without pre-approved strategy.

The website looks great man and you did a good job, but Alex doesn’t need or probably want a website like this. He knows his avatar well. He doesn’t need to attract anyone. They are the ones interviewing businesses to work with them. Only saying this because you made a couple jabs at the top of the video. Plus with Alex being involved with Skool and working with a lot of young entrepreneurs, the crappy website proves his point that you don’t need anything to start. Alex knows what he’s doing brother. It was a great content idea on your part, I just wouldn’t have thrown the jabs in there. Keep up the good work.
