Thank you Dan! Great summary. As you mentioned, we recommend using profiles with slots to maximize hookup ratio. The OG also pair really well with the 4" Scented Jerkshadz. My personal favorite to pair with a TexasEye. For non-Elaztech baits you can always trim off the front of that keeper and it might work a little better.

Great job on explaining how to rig it up. I've actually never used it before but have friends that swear by them. Guess ill have to give em a shot

Awesome video. Very thorough and informative. I usually use Gulp but after your video I am going to give the Z man diesel minnow a shot. Thanks!

Got to love them! Great colors in the DieZel Minnow. Electric Chicken, Troutsickle, Opening Night. Not sure if they make that 4" on in Slam Shady? Excellent color! Salt Strong Brazilian Power Prawn Jrs are pretty stretchy, but not as much as Z-Man. Major R&D at that company. SS is a great club too! I used the Redfish Eyes all Winter with 4" Bomber SS paddle tails. Reds kill em. Flounder can't resist. I make a "Skinner" rig. I tie a loop knot 18" above a paddle tail, add a 2/0 bait keeper hook with a 3-4" Gulp minnow on it. Flounder can't stand em.

I really like the Texas Eye jigs but I wish they would make some with a 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz but with 3/0 or 4/0 hooks. They'd be awesome around rocks and pilings for flounder in deeper water than the 1/4 can reach. Z Man soft plastics are very buoyant and I fish near rocks so I would love something that snags less and is heavy enough to fish in 20' of water or in a strong current. Sometimes I deal with both at the same time. So hopefully they'll start making smaller heavier Texas Eyes.
The SnakeLock hooks are similar and you can get a 3/8 weight with a smaller hook. They're pretty good too.

It really depends on where I’m fishing the season and the fish I’m targeting. You kind of have to pull a little bit of that from the narrative in my videos. Every situation is slightly different.

I love the Zman products, one of my favorite baits in this area, is a gulp all natural shrimp. Do you use the Gulp baits at all sir?
