I like the 3/16 chartreuse trout eye for 3 inch baits like gulp shrimp or zman shrimp. If I move to a 4" bait I go to a redfish eye with the longer hook.
These jig heads work awesome, I ended up finding one similar to these, cause I’m up in the Northeast so I gotta get deeper in that water column so I need them to be a little heavier, but there called Giant Whale an there almost identical, 👍🏼👍🏼 on the vid

I'm going to to try something cool...I'm going to glue girly eye lashes to attract the male fish and a winking 😉 eye to the jig for the female fish...might be a game changer 🤣...but for real any color works...they all equally gave me great results.
The yellow eyes work the best here Northeast Florida Jacksonville trout Red's and flounders I don't know what it is about the yellow eyes I've tried different colors the yellow eyes out Fisher them

Those glow eyes should be good at night. Flounder and redfish definitely bite glowing baits at night.

I found some pearl 1/2 oz but it says red fish eye instead of trout eye, what would be the application for the 1/2 oz?

Really? I've been using the red ones on a gulp shrimp. Caught 2 over size reds within an hour
