- Testing my half-done new pedalboard, with Weehbo pedals and Strymon El Capistan.
Using some backing tracks to check how they cut the mix.
GUITAR:
Fender American Deluxe HSS Stratocaster (moded to SSS)
Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Surf pickups set
PEDALS:
Wampler Decibel+ (buffer)
Wampler EGO Compressor
Dry Bell Vibe Machine v1
Weehbo Dumbledore
Weehbo Plexdrive
Weehbo JCM Drive
Strymon El Capistan
AMP:
Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue
Recorded with Zoom Q3HD.
No post-processing.
Just compressor to recover level (dimmed because zoom's mics are in low sensitivity mode) and limiter, to be sure I'm not getting overs or clips. Видеоклипы
Thanks, Roland. Very kind from your side.
I am loving those pedals.
Right now, I am waiting for a new Wah and, will update the pedalboard with a high gain distortion pedal and, probably substitute the JCM Drive with a JVM Drive. This should close the circle.
Great playing! God Bless
Best pedalboard! Really beautiful sounds
Ahahaha.
Still building, still on works!. But, yes, I am very close to what I wanted to achieve.
Thanks for your comments
Great guitar tones!
Very well played: ciao from Italy!
gracie tanto.
ciao
awesome!!
Thank You.
Very kind.
You should look at Wilson Effects. They make a lot of handmade wahs and effects. They even have a John Frusciante style one with added tone shaping controls.
I'm trying to avoid importation from US, because it's a real hell here, in Spain.
My last order took more than 1 month to be cleared in Customs, what is absolutelly desesperating.
Weehbo Effekte are European so, everything goes WAY easier.
I own both JCM and JVM drive, I find the JCM much better. In fact it's not far from being the best pedal in my board ;) The JVM is great but harder to tame. It can get a little muddy depending on which guitar you use. Well, I just wanted to say both pedals are quite different and switching from a JCM to a JVM doesn't look like a good choice ;) I would recommend keeping both :D
Thanks for your feedback. I was weighting whether to buy the JVM so, your comment helped me a lot.
