I'm a very mediocre pilot, but one time I met up with a dude and I remember how amazed he was by how aggressive I would fly, but moreso, that my banggod would be hitting concrete at such high speeds and I would just bend back or replace a prop and send it again without issue. I love this sport.
I admire the effort in the name of experimentation. I have to believe that it survived because it pretty much landed flat, which is the orientation that most of the components like the FC and VTX are mounted. With the standoffs and top/bottom plates, there is not much room for stuff to move.
also i have crased and broke my chimera 7 twice. once it was from a few hundred feet with a tree in the way and on soft grass and it snapped an arm. second time was from like 50 feet onto gravel and it snapped two arms broke the xt60 connector and fried the esc.

- But WHY???
- Because... Why the heck not?
I knew his answer before I clicked play 😂
My Chimera 7 went free fall 8,850 ft and smacked the gravel upside down, guess the damage… none 😨
ok what kind of goofy highly illegal activities were you getting up to

Haha I was far away from civilization and had my aircraft radar on. It’s quite a good tbh
@@thedroneaboveus jk im not an faa spy but i guess it makes sense because upside down I have surved ridiculously stupid things.but why did it fall?
What are you doing flying at 8,850ft
that's crazy :D , how battery didn't blow up ? :D
but... that landed on soft ground. right? even it was fast... a slower crash on concrete will alway be worse.
what if you glued the battery and sd card and stuff so it would stay attached in the crash xD
🙂👍
