I know many people do not believe but I have experienced many hardships and troubles in my life and I don't know how I would have faced those without God's grace, and my faith to sustain me. I love MercyMe's music. I have been listening to them ever since "I Can Only Imagine" was released on the radio many years ago.I have been a christian for most of my adult life. I was at death's door in 1987 when my daughter Nikki was born. The doctors gave up and called my family into the hospital , telling them that they give up, I wouldn't make it through the night, and all that my family could do now is to pray. But God had other plans. Many people were praying for me, and God answered those prayers. I became a christian that night and then started getting better. The doctors and nurses called it a miracle. I have had faith ever sense, how could I not? My daughter Nikki took her life in October of 2021 due to mental health problems. With God's help I have been able to push through this thing called grief and have learned that it is a part of my life now. I don't know I could make it without faith. Of course I miss her terribly and I still have my crying spells at times, but I also know that everything is in God's hands and His timing. God bless you.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious Nikki. Like you, my faith in God is what helps me in all things, especially grief. He will never leave you, even during the times you feel alone and your heart is shattered.
