Definitely not. I used the album version and the rare unreleased single versions (basically almost multitracks), combinated them and added every noise- or instrument sample individualy after adjusting the EQs (which took forever). Some parts were even recomposed in my DAW and some are completely different and new like the wind and thunder atmospheres in the background. The original video sound is not as crisp and balanced on high frequencies as the album version and its instrumentation (which is what I used here as a base for remaking the audio). Unless you are one of those lucky people who got the remastered Ghosts DVD, in that case it would probably sound like being just ripped :)
Amazing work! I'd like to use this to my students performance! Is it in any way possible to get a hold of an mp4 or mp3 with good quality of this? This remastered version feels to me worthy of something better than using one of the "convert-youtube-to-mp3"-sites online 💥 (I'd gladly pay)
