The beginning is simply absolute goosebumps feeling.
That animated sound is from a Korg synthesizer. Imagine my reaction when I had just bought a Korg M1 and was browsing the presets, then found that one... I've definitely come across it elsewhere as well (I think M1 is the most sold synth ever so its characteristic sounds are absolutely everywhere) but I can't remember any names.
You so creative, your rearrangement make these songs feel like they they are all new.

Jam! Michael Jackson and Bruce Swedien crafted a danceable upbeat hip-hop tune as a response of the genre taking over pop music at the end of 80's. Very much inspired by the sound of New Jack Swing which combines hip-hop rhythm with r&b flavors, Teddy Riley, the young blood who pioneered and invented the then-new genre helped with further production design of Jam adding Heavy D's rap and providing that urban touch. This revision and new mix shines a light on hidden sounds, vocals and effects. Isn't there a petition for SingleWhiteGlove to have access to the MJ catalog already? It aint too hard for me to like and JAM!

@@CertifiedTae Trust me, the 33/35 track multi's are a composite of the real elements and stuff from the Flyte Time remix. How about you go and listen to the Flyte Time remix's structure, and drums. :)

G R E A T! I am fan of MJ since 1987 and I have never heard these kind of re-arrangements. This felt like I am listening a new MJ album. Not a compilation but a new album. Feeling extremely happy. Keep going SWG.
When the Dangerous album was released, my instant favourite was Black or White due to it's immediate likeable chorus and hook. Then it became Jam. A crazy hip hop funk pop song. Loved the video with the subtle but slick Jacko dance moves and it's humour moments. These retro remixes by SWG are simply brilliant. It's almost like a 12" version which never was commissioned or released. It ain't too much thing as MJ music :)

When dangerous was released I was 15. I fell in love with this song. It was so innovative, so elegant and tough at the same time... it resonated so much with the feelings I had at that time like so many teens that feel their skin is too tight and their head is about to explode. And I remember having an old double tape recorder, unscrewing the eraser so I could make weird recordings. And I made some absolutely aweful long versions of Jam (so good it always sounded too short)... Truly aweful... 😂 And listening to your mixes is kind of like making this teenage MJ fan fantasy come true. And for that, thank you... Really.
