Jones was the best thing that could have happened to Jackson at the time. Jackson had the talent, drive and ambition to become the biggest artist in the world, and Jones with his knowledge and skills knew how to get him there. These two were unstoppable and the records are still untouchable.

a legend, music genius, and one of the world's greatest music producers of all time. And did you know that he literally discovered Oprah Winfrey. Yeah, that's right when he cast her in the 1985 Color Purple Movie, when she was an ordinary Talk show host in Chicago, unbelievable, and from then on, everything is history. RIP Quincy and thank you for sharing your music with the whole world.
Can’t believe they are both now in musical 🎶 heaven. Imagine Epic said he is too Jazz. All the greats, drummers like Charlie Watts the Stones drummer played Jazz
Quincy def had God in his mind with all his work and that's something that's terribly missing in today's music and movies. The arts are suppose to inspire and elevate man closer to God. RIP sir!
Quincy speaks as if he invented MJ. MJ was a superstar long before and after collaboration with Quincy. Also Mj made albums after Thriller without Quincy Jones and continued to rise as a star with Dangerous and the History album. But then there are people like Quincy who want to take all the credit.
Great producer no doubt, but he did not write not one song.... Jones was overrated. No matter which producer they use for all those songs, they would have been a hit anyway. Great writing of lyrics and music, that Jones cannot take credit for.
@GreeshmaPradeep-cy2mc Jackson's record sales fell sharply as soon as Quincy stopped producing and arranging for him. He took a washed up child star and gave him a second life!
MJ's contribution to the productions amounted to singing melodies into a recorder. Everything else was written and arranged by Quincy. MJ had no technical musical skills whatsoever.

pretty good Trumpet player, too.

He kinda looks like Timbaland
Rest in peace Q and MJ
Quincy was not a fan or a friend of Michael Jackson later in life. He spoke very poorly about him. They were not on good terms.
If you knew what he knows.. he was being very kosher. Because i know alot and it's a fact he knows alot more than me.
This man died in nov 3. I think you were recorded it before he passed away
Egoless Divine Conduit.
Area that frunklin
Out of ALL the amazing music this man has created , I truly don’t understand how we focus so much on a mid-horror song
They’re focusing on the song because Thriller is the topic of this video … it’s right there in the title
