I found the answers to my questions.. I was wrong on both neither my serial numbers are missing aligned. I still think you though I did find two Star notes and and over inked seal . Imvery happy with my first day of looking.. thank you again for teaching me sir

I've got a question if someone could help me out. I've got a chance to purchase a 2009 $1 repeater with a grade of 68EPQ for $100. Well that's the asking price. My question is, Is this 68EPQ $1 reapeater worth the asking price?

Hey Justin, we got a $1 bill with a small picture in green of the statue of liberty located on the right side where the Federal Reserve District numbers are. The base of the statue of liberty is where the face plate number should be, it is not on this bill. The top of her is under the Federal Reserve District number, so she was printed on the bill 1st.

No matter what date these bills r I never looked for these mistakes in a bill😳. N I do remember some bills I had thru the yrs did have those. Thanx I’ll definitely b looking now 👍

OK, I have a 1976 $2.00 bill that appears to misaligned on the back and four 2000 Gold Sag. "p" coins. I believe none were circulated, although they've been in a box with other coins, and two are much shinier than the other two. I got them as soon as they were minted....they didn't come out of a box of Cheerios...how would you prove that, anyway?
Theres this restaurant i went to yesterday that has 2 $100 bills on the front desk, where one side of each one is very misprinted almost faded. I dnt think they know what they have
So I found a bill with a regular serial number but one number on it is thicker and larger than the others it stands out would that be worth anything or is that normal? I don't recall ever seeing it...
Hey great info here! Question, is there any new unusual marks on the dollar? We have one with a dot on the back above the E. Magnified, it looks like a reddish color and its asymmetrical and even a bit smudged. Doesn't seem like anything special to me though.
I was watching this video and it inspired me to search for rare bills. On my first search which was a couple of days before i post this comment i found a 5 dollar bill with mismatch serial number. I dont know what to do with it. I never did anything like this before as in collecting. Any adivse on what i should do ? Or who should i see ?

I have a $1 bill with the serial numbers different colors one is green and the other ones black you can tell that nobody Drew on it to make it black I don't know how they did it or how the print came out but it's pretty weird
I have a low serial number $1 bill and its a star note with 3 errors front side seal off center back side below the N on one is extra ink dots and you hold it up in lighr it clearly see front side is 3/8 of an inch off from back side not only that the back side i 3/8 inch smaller than front side
Justin I have a 1 dollar bill with black stamp partially covering the green stamp. Any black stamp is is fuzzy. Looks like it was a manual stamp. What do you think.

THAT is the most popular, UNANSWERED question.....where/who, do I take it if/when I find one? "It's a dollar bill, worth $300" TO WHO?? I've casual collected bills & coins over all these yrs! Not a pro by any means! Just spotted things, so I put them back and save when I do spot any!! YET, no clue who/where to take anything to sell!! I understand, I'm sure I could find someone, I'm just not a pro collector!! You have to take the time to learn that kind of thing and, I just haven't applied myself in that way!! THAT is also why, you HAVE to be careful someone doesn't rip you off!! Someone offering $100 for a dollar, when it's REALLY worth $300!! 😖 😆 I would love to find someone that would casual buy mine, that I could trust!!! HARD TO FIND, for me anyway!!
Hey Cindy. eBay would be your best bet, if you are willing to take the time to take good photos and learn how to grade the note, and research the errors. Or maybe a dealer/online currency buyer..but they will only pay around 30-70% of the true value, as they are a business and are looking to resell them, and have overhead costs. Pricing is subjective, too. They are only worth what a collector is willing to pay, not necessarily for a fixed price. Factoring in the errors, the age, the grade, etc. generally, unless the error is really major, it’s great to just make more than face, and I wouldn’t expect people to rip you off as they don’t want to overpay for a note that might end up selling for less or never selling at all at a profitable price. It just depends on the particular note. I might be willing to make an offer depending on the notes, or coins. I collect some and resell others. Take care and enjoy the search.

That’s called a star note, when the original bill gets messed up in printing, they will reprint it with the same serial number yet they add the star to know that it’s a replacement.

I had a $10 that was printed with what's essentially a gutter fold, but it's the security strip folded over during printing on both sides. My Boy Scout leader gave me $20 for it, and I cannot find ANY EXAMPLES of it, so just curious how much he fucked me
