    When most users seek an alternative to a large PC case they are quick to make the jump to laptops and all-in-one PCs. But down the road, they may find themselves disappointed by the screen attached to the machine, as it limits their options. If you want to avoid a full-size PC, feel constrained by a laptop or all-in-one, and at the same time want to keep your freedom of choice when it comes to monitors, what do you do? You can choose a Mini PC or Mac Mini, that’s where they shine.
    Mini PCs can be integrated with your choice of monitors (usually one at the low end, but up to four in some devices) and peripherals such as a webcam, At the same, Mini PCs can stay hidden out of sight, either under the desk or behind a monitor. Despite their small size, mini PCs are as functional and compatible with software as traditional PCs.

    I just purchased the Minis Forum Elite Mini TH50 running Windows 11 Pro to replace my Panasonic Toughbook with Windows 7 Home as my main machine. The TH50 is way snappier and does everything I need AND more! 16GB RAM, 512GB M.2, 6x USB 3.0, 1x HDMI, 1x DP to C, MIC in 3.5, Headphone 3.5. Lightning port, Expandable x2 2.5 SSD. So far I have had like 10 open programs open at once and multiple windows and it doesn't even begin to bog down. I also discovered another feature it doesn't list. It has built in microphone arrays that can be used for recording or voice calls etc. without having external microphones plugged in.

    Mini pc is not the same thing as thin client. Thin clients are rarely used since the early 90s. A thin client runs just enough functionality to send input device actions to a remote computer and to receive and display output, doing no general purpose computation itself. A raspberry pi might qualify as a thin client.

    • @Lolatyou332
      @Lolatyou332 Год назад +2

      Thin clients are used in lots of major corporations. They have enough power to work as a workstation and can be alternatively used as a way to remote into a virtual workstation if desired.
      You can optiplex micro's pretty cheap because organizations retire the old versions and they end up getting sold cheap from resellers in bulk.

Based on the professional reader's English skills, he should not have missed such basic issues, and I can only imagine is being lazy.

    2022 is coming to its end, but II still does not see a proper audiophile-grade silent mini PC being sold. This mini PC has to do at least two things well: 1. clean the network input to make it refined and noise-free, and 2. produce a jitter-free USB or, better yet, pi2 signal output. Good network streamers do that, but they cost thousands of dollars. And they are not being fully-functional PCs. Professional music producers, as well as enthusiastic HQ music lovers, would love to be able to purchase such mini PCs. I would, for sure.

    • @tamildesan837

      Some of the Intel NUC models work with universal remotes or old HP remote. If you are using it for media players like kodi it will be useful. If you are interested to use the full keyboard functions then you may try wireless or Bluetooth mini keyboards with the PC.

Amazon don't have a Paypal link when checking out I found out I could order on Ebay and Amazon delivered the product. Strange but as long as I receive what I order. It's ok . 73
