This dance was one of Maddie's best. The choreography costume and music all fitted so well. Just another solo to show how great Maddie is. Jill's excuses throughout the week were laughable and frankly sad.
I love how the calypso at 0:37 - 0:38 popped out of nowhere

+Melissa Delgado I was thinking the same thing.. that was amazing.. I had to go back after that happened.. I was like what?? How did she leap so high without any preparation?
She did it really well as well. Pause when she is in full split when she does it and her leg is so over split

She has the best leaps, maybe not the best oversplits, but her AIRTIME 🤩

The thing I love about maddie's dancing is that she makes it look like she isn't thinking about it and that she came up with it from her heart on the spot which is great cuz alot of dancing just look rehearsed in a bad way like they are thinking about what move is next maddie it looks so easy and natural her costume is beautiful and she brings a dance to life on stage

she was given these incredibly artistic and emotional solos because she has the depth it takes to portray the story, she is not just a dancer, she is an artist. she lives through the music. she feels everything she sees and hears. there is something special about her. that's why she was the breakout star of this show..she let us see her heart, on stage, every single episode.

Yeah, and so did Chloe and Kalani. The real reason she was given these solos was because Melissa sucked up to Abby and did her dirty work for her.

I loved this solo!!! the song was beautiful, the costume was beautiful, maddie was beautiful, and there were actually a few things I don't always see from maddie. my favorite parts were when she let her arms loose to resemble the branches of a tree and the moments when her face was dark. it wasn't her best solo and she could've used more of her dark faces, but it was a clean performance and one of my favorites this season. at some point abby needs to give her a complete dark solo because she really is good at that and ifeel like it should be showcased more.

Mackenzie

Jojo
Kalani
The only reason I say Brynn and Brooke are underrated is because of how people view them as dancers they only see Brynn as good technique but never talk about her amazing fluidity and musicality and the same with Brooke people think she’s just an acro contortionist when she was capable of the same choreography Kalani got. I say Kalani is overrated because with an exception of a few solos, I found some of her solos very boring. I say Nia is overrated because yes she wasn’t used to her fullest potential I definitely agree but people tend to overrate her because of that. I didn’t connect with her performances like I did with others and her technique even while it wasn’t as bad as the show made it seem she still wasn’t at the level of most of her teammates. Jojo is definitely overrated especially her turns.

My favorite solo on this entire show. This was absolutely (in my opinion) the most flawless dance that she’s done on the show. I don’t know how else to describe that this is my favorite solo, other than saying I literally get teary eyed when I think about it😂

Maddie is an amazing dancer but I think Abby gives her the same type of choreography and the same tricks over and over again and it gets kinda boring sometimes, I think Abby should try giving Maddie something different once in a while
All the girls get the same kind of moves in their solo and no one ever picks that out. These girls have to do the same moves because that's what wins for them.They go to a competition every week and it just the easiest to learn in 3 days.

So do not mind the whole time that comes a possessed speak evil of you, because you're a great girl, is the best dancer I met 'till today, has won so many things ... things that NEVER seen anyone win, at least not with the same effort that you and the end, the most important: YOU conquest me every time I see you dance, whether on TV, the PC or even in person !! and I think the best thing a dancer could hear, read or stay knowing it, "I could watch you dance forever!", just what I feel when I see you dancing. People say this is the same choreo as always but like ??? do you not know choreo that you can't detect the addition of new moves here and there. By now you have to know that Abby is too dense to switch it up with Maddie a whole lot but there are some new moves.
Maddie deserved better tho it is sometimes well most of the time repetitive

I really like this solo. The execution was near perfect. The only comment I can make was that, one, her hands are kinda distracting, and two, that it's really boring seeing her do the same moves over and over again, but I like how Abby added a ponche in it. Guess the changes have to be gradual

Am I the only one slightly disappointed that this is Abby's idea of a 'dark' Maddie solo omg. She's obviously capable of playing a real, dark role but this is what she's given :/ Either way, dark or not, I really enjoyed this! I do believe Maddie has danced better, she still really sold the performance and I was honestly captivated, which is something that doesn't happen often with me and Maddie's aldc-choreographed solos! Definitely one of my favorites.
Abby said this is a solo that could be seen as not dark but hauntingly beautiful, it’s not meant to be dark so why are you disappointed
