She did really good. I liked her turns and her facial expressions. I also liked her technique. Overall the dance was pretty amazing.
This is probably my favorite solo of Maddie's. I love when she does this kind of style that's a little different than the usual lyrical she does. She did a beautiful job with this one and the choreography is amazing.
Me tooo. I don’t think it’s my favorite ever but I’m rewatching the entire series and so far, this one has been my favorite and her most mature one (most concept wise but she truly slayed it) and it’s more difficult like Abby said
@@nakynaki I'm literally rewatching the series right now too on Hulu lol Currently on season 4. Yeah I don't know, this was always just one of my favorites. Like you said, it was more mature and just different from what she usually does. I love the lyrical dances too but I've always really liked these kinds of contemporary dances they got to do once in a while. Plus, the music in this paired with the chorography and Maddie's dancing, it was really powerful.

This is one of my favorite Maddie solo because in the beginning til the end she was strong and her turns in the beginning to that jump and all of the emotions Maddie gave something special when she preformed
literally her technique is so strong, obviously if they put a solo on it, because she was magnificent and the song is super because everything completed well, so congratulations to Maddie 💖💖

MY FAVORITE SOLOS PER SEASON:
Season 1: Disappear
This is honestly one of my favorites because it’s really one of those dances that makes you feel something after watching it. And I really felt the sadness and contemplation that comes from this dance.
Season 2: Hellen Keller
I love this because it’s a character piece and knowing Hellen Keller, I really felt like I was watching her life through this dance.
Season 3: You and Me Against the World
I’m a musical theater fan and I just love this song and I love that it’s a tap solo too. It’s just so fun and unproblematic. Very entertaining.
Season 4: Happiness
It’s one of those typical lyrical Maddie dances yet it’s so light and airy and I’m just smiling every time I watch it. Song, Technique, and Costume was Great.
Season 5: Loose Cannon
I just love how dynamic it is. The choreography is so different and even the acting as well.
Season 6: Bond Girl
It’s a Jazz Solo which she doesn’t do often but it’s so great. I love the dynamic movements and facials. The execution could be better but it was very entertaining and captivating.
* I now realize that I may have a bias to those solos that loss but I don’t know I just love these solos.

Just wow, absolutely flawless and beyond technical. Abby went off with the choreography in season 3 and a little in season 4 as well. It was so sad to see Abby and ultimately the choreography and training regress in the later seasons.
imo season 4 had the most predictable choreo because i think abby saw the lyrical solos were winning numbers. Birthday, happiness, and fool me once all reminded me of eachother. however in s5 and s6 she had more unique solos that had things that differentiated them from one another like mannequin, vertigo, all gods creatures, bond girl, lizzie borden, hostage, etc. this is just my opinion tho but i know that also in s5 and 6 she had similar dances that were just used to win. i wish she had more intense solos like uphill battle and vertigo because they are way more entertaining to watch

I don’t think this choreo would have suited Chloe, she is an absolutely phenomenal dancer, but her fluidity in faster dances wasn’t really the best, I think she performs much better in slower dances such as Silence

I absolutely adore this solo and I think the only reason it got second was her technique on her turns. She was working on those new ones and I think she just wasn't fully perfect on them quite yet

Technique is amazing and choreography is beautiful and her flexibility and strength was amazing too but I have a big issue with facial expressions, there a bit forced she needs to get her facials to be more natural and not so “over done”

zuza kazanek yeah actually it is better to be over the top in dance cause you cannot talk and it is the only way to present the story to the audience. Well of course this is just my opinion...
I kind of agree. I almost wish her facial expressions were darker and more sinister.
If this solo didn't win then there is a reason. This show does not show all the other contestants and there was probably just someone there who had a better performance. I personally thought it was okay.
