THIS IS JUST HOW I FEEL. If you watched Acid Rain [Commentary] they said that this songs about the end of the world for all, and their talking to their wifes.. but to me they're leave out a key part which is the whole band and wifes meets up with Jimmy to bring them home, to heaven. Someone has to do it or when we die do we just know where to go?!?!?.. Another mystery.. So to me the lyrics mean they meet up with Jimmy The Rev, talk about how things have been since his passing.. How life just goes on after you pass "Children still play in the garden" .."Dance as the sun slips away". Talk about how they've evolved "We stand on the edge now","We've come so far". Then it's like Jimmy tells them how to fly "stand close to me DLBB over the blackened moon carry you away through the planets we fly"... As the "Acid Rain" cleanses them, cleanses away their sins.. "Send Us Home"... Call me crazy but everyone has their own interpretation. Thats mine.

Wut, his voice is stronger now than it ever has lol. If it isn't obvious, the audio mixing isn't too great as they have his vocals ultra recessed.
um... he can't scream? his scream was the best I have ever heard back in the days of rock and rio 2011. Trust me Im not a hater I really meant it when I said this was my favorite band, I have clothing, accesories for me, my guitar, my car and a a few posters. But he cant scream and he will never be able to scream like that again
Daniel Fernandez Weird because he had a throat infection at the time while being extremely sick that year so he sounded worse than normal. He still can scream. Trust me, he can. More so that he doesn't want to do it that much anymore as they did decide even before Waking the Fallen that they wanted to move away from screaming.
Even then, he is doing much more difficult shit with his voice than screaming. Listen to him perform Planets or Acid Rain live, when he reaches the loudest of his yells he is still having to push far more with his diaphragm than for a normal note, you can also hear the fry tone coming in. Reaching that balance is much harder than simply singing or screaming. Some call it Toned Screaming.
But again, his voice is stronger than it has ever been and he can definitely scream still. Just chooses not to.
Ramblings about vocal technique aside, I get what ya mean. To each their own in what they prefer to hear, as even I would like to hear what he can do if he wanted to really get back into screaming but sadly that won't happen 😢
