Ricardo Marques it sounds like he really cares for his voice and it pisses me off when people get angry at him for not screaming a lot in his new albums. He's already had surgery once and another could really ruin his vocals. People complain because he takes care of his voice and dosnt scream but if he didn't people would complain because his voice wouldn't be as good as it used to be.

I can assure you they couldn't hear nothing. The whole band was playing through in-ears tecnology. That means only the Band could hear the music. Maybe the people could hear a little bit of drums. But thats It.
Seems like Matt enjoys singing this song more than the others during this performance.

Who says that Matt lost his voice? I think his voice is really strong here and his singing style is more professional than ever and I really like visiual effects too good job!
Its just people mad that a7x is still making premium tracks, if you're a fan of them you get used to people shitting on them for no reason other than to make then feel better about their favorite bands decline
@@kylekoenen8237i would say is more or less the style. Mat i would say was a better vocalist back then in the sense of more impressive and harder vocals. But mat’s voice is currently is perfect for the direction a7x is going towards. Maybe thats why their mad?
@bob_b9349 Been very happy with the direction they've gone, shadows voice is still so very good. Kind of reminds me of another of my favorite bands Atreyu, absolutely no where near what they used to make but still great. There's a song with m shadows and atreyu and it's just so mellowed down to what they used to make but it's still good, I have such an appreciation for syn too. He is still my favorite guitarist ever and he is still shredding those solos after decades of doing this, same for the whole bad. If I remember right they all made the band in Like high school and didn't change anything until the rev died. Instead of quiting they come out and create great quality albums for all of us. I have so much respect for them for being able to do it cause most bands I don't think could do it.

I love this song. Acid Rain is cool too. You certainly can see the maturity & progression of the band. This new record has some bad ass guitars and drums. Brooks seems to be a great fit in the band. Looking forward to even more new stuff in the future. A7X has always been unique & shown advancement with each record. Been a fan since STST. You can see why they sell out arenas. Great band. Awesome talent. 💜🤘💀🤘🆒🎸🎙👍

He doesnt want to scream anymore he said something along the lines of screaming with half hour breaks in between and tours was crazy it got me riled and it was fun but its take care of my voice or start cancelling shows
He can scream, you can hear that his voice is still powerful, the only thing that changed is the way he managed it, I guess than he just doesn't want to do the same stuff 17 after A7X's beginnings :)

To add to the statements people make about Matt's voice, remember it was off live stream and also he burst 2 blood vessels in his neck yelling so much. He's got a vocal trainer to help him get back up there

Não sei se foi só eu, mas parece que esse tempo que eles ficaram sem fazer show ao vivo, (pelo menos em comparação a 2013 e 2014 foi muito pouco) a voz do Matt deu uma melhorada significativa vey!
Shadows tá cada vez melhor, sou muito feliz de acompanhar essa banda desde 2008.

For everybody saying that Matt lost his voice or his voice is fucked up or he didn't warm up or whatever. Understand that Matt made a point to get rid of the grit in his voice so that he could continue to hit all the notes while playing two hour shows. He didn't mess anything up. His voice is cleaner and that's a direct result of him deciding to train for it.

To everyone who keeps saying Matt's vocals sound weird, this is a kinda shitty livestream with a bad mix and the vocals are super dry in terms of FX.

Yeah but this was a livestream. People are comparing his other live performances to this, and saying he sounds thinner here. It's just because it was a shitty stream and you can't mix those very well.
