Actually they are realizing there are still too many misconceptions out there about Tesla. Like people still think you will run out of battery on a trip. But that's not how Tesla's work. same with autopilot people don't know there are levels and they see a crash and they blame Tesla and autopilot to be dangerous.
. So even Elon realizes maybe some advertising is needed. To educate everyone properly

Its a machine with actually fairly new technology. It will brake down and be a money pit loss like most high end cars.

People call it "new technology", but ac induction motors have been around and used widely for over 100 years since Nikola Tesla invented them.. and Lithium ion batteries are similar to what is used in phone and has been around for around 30 years.
It's just facts that less moving parts brings less places for failures, like these cars rarely need brake replacements

You might know nothing about the build quality of Tesla. They oftenly even come off factory with scuffed ass paint. And when you need to have paint done or whatever, they send you to a different bodyshop.

That really depends. Certain Supercars are 'currently' faster than any Tesla. Better handling goes to F1 cars. Tesla doesn't stand a chance against pure drag racing cars in a straight line. I own a Tesla and even I know its limits

Dude is brave as heck trusting the car to not run him into oncoming traffic. Even the owner seemed nervous. Autopilot works pretty well, but you have to get used to it first before putting your life/safety into its hands.
I have a Model Y and I was a bit nervous until I realized it was better at staying in the lane than I am. That said, I keep my hands lightly on the wheel, both because I don't want the car to give me that blue "pay attention to me" blink and because the roads around here don't consistently have the lines painted more than once every few decades, and roads with no lines at all and weird asphalt patches can equal Tesla saying "you better steer for a minute, friend."
Autopilot is cool, but people need to know that there are certain situations where it will try to kill you.
