One of the best Battles. Maddie has it all, what a voice/performance. And Nadege has a pro level jazzy, soulful voice.

Chance is without a doubt one of the best judges ever on the Voice. I didn't know him well before the show, and not sure what to expect from a rapper...but man, he's charismatic, empathetic, honest in his responses, and is really self aware about the show and his role in it. He's absolutely amazing!
Frrr he's so honest and sincere, he isn't only looking for they're voice and how they sound but rather the emotion and story they are trying to tell and I think that's truly beautiful.
oh i would die for a nadège record. her tone and artistry are everything i love. but i think in a competition setting, maddi takes the win

For those who didnt watch. Maddie Jane won the battle. Nadege drew Dan and Shay's and Johns steals. A few seconds afterwards Chance used his playoff pass on Nadege sending her straight to the playoffs.

Maddie was already one of my favourites together with Dani. Now Nadège is there with them as my top 3! I hadn't really realized how good she is till now! I'm stoked this season has such wonderful representations of this kinda sound that I love so much: a mixture of R&B, rap, pop, jazz... I don't even know what it is, just know I love it!
My choice would be Nadege! Beautiful, subtle voice without all that screaming is just amazing! She's just gorgeous!
This sounded good in both their voices, some very pretty moments. Nadège shined more in her upper range while Maddie had max swagger on the melody changes. I believed her a little more. Both found places to really shine. Maddie is just too good...

Now, the problem with early releases is that you (the channel) usually don't post the full version afterwards. Chance was right when he said this would be a performance people would watch many times I have :). Maddie and Nadege was a perfect combination Maddie's run was amazing and Nadege has the smoothness that gave it a jazzy feel, it was like R&B and Jazz had twins. Work it ladies I hope you both go a long way !!

I've watched this over and over. This should be a single. If I listen to it with my eyes closed Nadege's voice is just a joy and my absolute favorite. But Chance is truly a visionary to match these two. Maddi get's props for best stage presence!

Nadege's is absolutely amazing!! Not taking anything from Maddie she is great but Nadege's voice is smooooth as silk. Everytime i hear her voice im thinking is it Sade or Lauryn Hill or a mix of both. She is just very very different. I would absolutely buy her album. I was in the music business for twenty years and voices like hers are very rare indeed. I predict she is gonna be a superstar!
Nadege is more unique in her vocal choices. It's unexpected, soulful and just effortless. Shes unpredictable and the clear winner.
