I've heard that Darrows are worth at zulrah since it increases your odds of rolling a damage capped hit, which are rounded down to a number between 45 and 50
8:43 FYI you should still use dragon arrows at Zulrah. Whilst the max you can actually hit isn't any higher than amethyst, you will have higher DPS because the damage roll (between 0 and your theoretical max) will average out higher with dragon arrows
According to the “gear discord” it’s a myth that dragon arrows don’t offer a dps increase at Zulrah. Since they can hit over 50 more often than amethyst arrows, the math does work out to a notable increase. Enough to warrant using them even if purely focused on profit.
Martyr Me I’m not the one who did the math, it’s in that discord I posted above which is widely accepted in the community. That being said though, the average value of loot from a Zulrah kill is over 160k... it would take much of an increase to make more expensive ammo worth it. Say you lose 10 arrows per kill (assuming accumulator), 800gp extra per arrow is still less than 5% of the value of the loot from that one kill. You could just go to a dps calculator and figure it out from there yourself with your own gear.

I'm camping at theatre of blood until i can afford tbow, then i'll be going for inferno. I'll need a consistent money maker to afford all the dragon darts + runes for the inferno, so this is very useful for me
for zulrah, dragon arrows actually do increase dps, the damage is capped, but the damage roll isn't, so u can roll higher than 50, which in time gives u more 50 hits, and thus more dps
Should've mentioned Dagannoth Kings, particularly if one has the Fremennik Elite diaries. I always go to DKs for my rebuilds, I've gone in sub-5m gear and been just fine, I'm talking crystal bow, normal trident, black d'hide, proselyte legs etc. Like DKs is the ultimate rebuild spot with noted bones because it's guaranteed 1m/hr, 2-3m/hr on avg with ring drops, and you can do it in super rag gear. If you scrape your whole bank for a Tbow, you could confidently go to DKs with say, a normal trident and an abyssal tentacle and shit armour and be just fine.
won't the 4th item for kbd be the d'hide boots? also, risking an assembler is kind of a waste since you cant replace them easily. using vorkath's head on the range skillcape gives the effect forever, and its only 99k to get back.
XD yeah I had meant to swap them out for snakeskin boots. Guess I forgot and missed it in editing. But as for the vorkath head, yeah you can add it to a ranging cape but it only retrieves your arrows like the assembler. No extra accuracy or damage from the range cape.
Lmao alot of people grind vorkath for pet and consistent 100k kills. U can imagine how many heads u have after 1k kc, and unless u r utter garbage at the game u shuldnt b losing assemblers left n right
For zulrah, you make more money by wearing like a coif/arma helm rather than serp bc of the cost of the scales being more than the anti-venom + Also dragon arrows do offer an ok dps increase because any hit that is calculated to hit over 50 will be rounded down to 50. Dragon arrows can hit over 50 more consistently so they will hit zulrah for that 50 more often, which gives the higher dps

Vorkath is pretty much it. There's nothing better that will get you more money per hour with the DHCB or Lance. Brutal black dragons would be next in line with the DHCB and Rune Dragons with the lance.

So yeah, when i got there a guy got there like a sec before me. I dont know how or why one was just dropped randomly in wildy, but tonight is going to be a sleepless night xD
Good video. I had no idea Zammy was a viable option for the rebuild. That will give me some much needed variety. I'd also recommend Demonic Gorillas to anyone reading this comment. Tbow seems to max 64ish on them and the kills are quick.
Dragon arrows is still wort using at zulrah due to the higher dps from accuracy, and rolls over 50. If you got a tbow you don't get cheap on the arrows...

Honestly, there’s no mind blowing money maker here. Why you would drop your entire bank on the bow doesn’t make sense to me. Dragon hunter crossbow or lance makes similar gp/hr no problem. I mean, I guess you have more variety with the T-Bow. But I still think you should bank at least 1.5B before considering it.
Thats what I did. Had 1.65B bank before buying tbow and still had enough money left over for good raids gear, nm gear, corp gear and a bunch of supplies for general use.
I just dumped my bank for a twisted bow at the beginning of last month and then hit a hydra claw on the first hydra task I got, but coulda really used this cuz I was trying to figure out how much more many than the t bow I needed
no it's a budget setup because he assumes you dumped your bank to buy t bow Depending on which boss you killing though you might need prayer bonus more than the accuracy or strength
for the hydra gear setup, replace fury with anguish and b gloves with slaughter bracelet. you don't lose any accuracy or max hits with slaughter bracelet if you use anguish with it and you get to kill a lot more per task

After a year of actively playing and a year break for life I'm about halfway to a tbow 😁 hoping to have one by the end of this year. Finishing my rune dragon alt right now. About 40 hours off 99 strength
A great option if you don't have a twisted bow. But, if you have a twisted bow and you're rebuilding, Zulrah is much easier. Also, this video is a few years old now. But Zulrah is still viable for a t-bow rebuild.

If you manage to save 1.1b, you should save a lil more to keep certain important jewelry/gear. I waited until I could keep all imbued jewelry, as well as blowpipe, ACP and ACS. I would’ve been fine with just blowpipe and jewelry but rushing into stuff is dumb.
I was hoping you might show a gear and monster progression rather than just a slideshow. It would be cool to see what you kill with only a t bow to get your d hide and then how you advance to get up to a fury and suffering and other gear like you showed. This is more like a “what to use your t bow on” rather than “t bow rebuild.” I still enjoyed the video though!

Hydra has such low defense and high Magic that the Range bonus is irrelevant. The BIS gear is devout boots, assembler Range cape (T), ring of the gods (I), Crystal top and legs
This video is highly misinformed... Some gear setup is not recommended like Kree’Arra because only the mage melee hits hard. The range and melee do hit but not as often as the mage.. Therefore you should use only a verac/justicar helm, and both range top and bottom.

Yep, since you hit 50+ more often with dragon arrows you do more DPS overall.
The dps upgrade for d arrows is miniscule. D arrows are pretty cheap anyways so I just use them, but its probably not worth it.

This is true, but the dps increase is almost non-existent. Maybe 1 second per kill average at the most.

The hit is actually re-rolled for between 45 and 50. It's not a guaranteed 50 if you roll over it.

The best way to do it is VARIETY. Do some gorilla tasks, do some zammy, some cerb, some sire, some zulrah, some cox. Just have fun with it.

It has a lot of rebuild potential, easy to get other essential gear back.
It's very worth doing. The more consistent options on this list can get you your money back relatively quickly with a little bit of determination.

If you want to be as brain dead as possible yeah. Your DPS is still great and even with the cost of scales you’re still making a huge profit.

Pretty much. I average between 1:35 and 1:40 with a T-bow. Sometimes you do have those noodle kills where they're like 2 mins +, but it's rare.

My max hit is still 83 and it saves one inventory space for more kills per trip usually.

I can get a 4kills per trip consitently with a dragoncbow and diamond bolts e solo If you get 4-6 kills per trip with tbow youre doing something wrong

You can only get skull tricked if you have player attack options on. Turn them to "hidden" and you never have to worry about it.

This video is highly misinformed... Some gear setup is not recommended like Kree’Arra because only the mage melee hits hard. The range and melee do hit but not as often as the mage.. Therefore you should use only a verac/justicar helm, and both range top and bottom.
