Bowfa is the best by far. You can farm all gwds basically, zulrah, hydra, etc. also something important when rebuilding, you can use cg for starting gp, it’s realllly good
First off, amazing guide! I recently bought dragon hunter c bow for like 85m. I’ve already made roughly 45m back off vork. Best entry level bank rebuild imo. Since getting elite void and slave ie pretty much destroys him. This was with 89-92 range. Avg 2-2:30min kill.
I did vorkath dack to back with dhcb and dcb, 94 range w rig, elite void, blessed dhide boots, archer ring(i), salve amulet (ei), and anti dragon fire shield. Dhcb average kill time 1:45 dcb average time 2:05, I can still easily make 3m an hr with just the dragon crossbow and stay until my invent full of loot each trip, so I sold the dhcb to sink money into construction and more prayer in my honest opinion 20 seconds isnt worth the 80m price difference
Dumped my bank for a dhcb and made it back in less than 3 weeks playing on and off these big ticket items are worth dumping your bank for but a tip i have which you probably mentioned is don't just save up for the item but save a bit more so you can buy some decent gear and supplies to go with it i made that mistake and the first hour or 2 were a bit slower
got a 3a druidic piece and i used that 850m+ my bank to dump for a tbow. zulrah, hydra, and raids gave me back my original bank value and it was fun and a lot faster.
I got a tbow after banking a ton of slayer points so I could skip for a hydra task. Did hydra until I got a claw, and spent a ton of time doing CM chambers in elite void with bow/lance. It was a fun process.
Corrupted Gauntlet is a phenomenal rebuild spot if you know how to do it. If you do know how to do it, you could buy whatever item you were rebuilding for and go there since it's free money. Alternatively using untradeable like elite void is also an option.
Scythe rebuild at cox? If it’s a true rebuild, then the rest of your gear will be pretty rag there. Dhl is would be a way better bet if you wanna camp cox, and then you can get a lot of good gear for the rest of the raid. You’re also gonna need friends to ToB with if you’re rebuilding there. A lot of people in ToB world and on WDR aren’t gonna run with someone in rag gear and only a scythe. Need a lot of more overhead to do a scythe rebuild. Just get a bofa and crystal armor for half the price and build toward the gear you’d need to go all in on scythe

Just dumped my bank for a DHCB. Finished ds2, got slave amulet(e) and karils and learned Vork. Getting 3 kc per trip now and my last trip was 800k…..in three 2-2:30 min kills…It’s game changing haha
Sell bank and buy a zcb went from a 700m bank to 2.8b in about a month and a half of nex. Highly recommend. The prices are still high on torva as of this comment
My bank is 131 mil right now, I might consider it when I get a bit higher. Still need to do SOTE and stuff before I could even consider it. That DHCB is looking good and never considered a rebuild
Absolutely, I turned a bowfa and trident of the seas and a borrowed lance into a 4 bil bank over the last year. It got me into raids 1 and hydra and zulrah until I could afford tbow, then I learned cms and tob and the rest is history. Best rebuild is bofa by far
I actually just recently did this very thing, came back to osrs not really sure what goals I should strive for ended up camping brutal black dragons with dragon cbow and blessed dhide for 98-99 range. Once I hit 99 I realized I could comfortably liquidate my bank for a dhcb and continue to camp brutals jumping from 30kish range xp and hour to 50k meaning it nearly doubled my gp per hour. It was a great investment and set me up for easy and comfortable way to learn vorkath.
Even to this day if you want to dump some money into a item to rebuild do the dhcb skeletal wyverns, vorkath, Brutal black dragons etc you will make that 60m back quicker than you think you kill them so fast compared to any other crossbow I'm only level 94 combat with 96 range and I hit rapid 30s and 40s and 50s on them
I’m very close to trying a tbow rebuild. I plan on just camping zulrah until the pet and then corrupted gauntlet until pet, by then I should be okay to start doing other stuff
Definitely would've had bowfa on the list. Really good upgrade for an account and not too steep of a price as Twisted bow, and good for money from God Wars.
I have a 1.56b bank at the moment. Got 94 slayer yesterday. When I get to 95 I am dumping for the tbow and camping hydra. Apparently all you need is about 1000 slayer points worth of skips to get 95-99 all at hydra. Thats the plan.

Just rough estimate here. getting a hydra task from konar is about 5%, so that means about 20 skips are needed to get a hydra task. 20 skips cost like 600 points. You would run out of skips after like two back to back tasks. Each hydra task is what, like 100-200k slayer exp?

I actually pulled up the spread sheet and punched it out myself. Assuming that you block the most common tasks, and not have any unnecessary tasks unlocked, the chance of getting hydra task is 10/167 or roughly about 6%. This means you would need to skip on average 16-17 tasks to get hydra task. Again with 1000 slayer points you would run out after 2 skips or so on average. Just look at some of the comments even on the video or throughout reddit. many people complaining how he spent 1500 points and did not even get a single hydra task. The only sustainable alteranative is turiel skip method
you're going to be disappointed.. you absolutely need more than 1k points for 95-99. I had 3k points saved, currently 97 all at Hyrda w/ 1k points left.

Cool video, I rebuilt from 0 by pking the other week and made a video series/diary on it. Pking in the Rev caves is also some good starting point if you're trying to rebuild, all you need is a mystic set and a few inventories of supplies (in my experience)!

This is a video I've been needing for a while. My goal is to dump for tbow and rebuild. In the meantime I've decided to do a mini rebuild and dumped for fill inquisitor and mace to camp phosani. I just generally dont understand why you are even using dhl at rune dragons when you could very simply kill vorkath with it and make consistently better money. Its just not really worth it. The only reason ever would be that you wanted to do something else for the sake of not losing your mind
I think ZCB is a good rebuild item too, although I'd pair it with Zaryte vambs as well. You can get ZCB and Vambs for under 500m, still get most BiS ranged items like Buckler/Anguish etc. and make bank at Nex as long as you stick with it. The unfortunate thing is these items aren't very useful elsewhere, ZCB is only otherwise good at Arma and as a spec wep at Hydra/Vorkath, Vambs however are BiS anywhere you use range so they're always nice to have.

Kinda disappointed and question why the BOFA wasn't even mentioned or shown as it is probably better than even a tbow or scy rebuild because of the versatility.
Also, if you are killing a none boss monster in this game to make money you are wrong. But to be honest if you want to go sit at black drags then be my guest.
Guess i’m weird, I only play osrs to spend all my gp buying uncut dragonstones for my item hoard bank tab lol. I don’t engage with any substantial content and I never do quest. All I do is kill sand/ammonite crabs and mine, which I then spend all my gold buying as much dragonstone as possible. My endgame goal is eventually having a stack of 1M uncut dragonstones.
It’s actually around 5M/hour with 3 completed raids. Which is accurate for people who are pretty good at it. I wanted to show a more realistic number for not sweaty people.

Melee hyrda is super chill. He pulls you in with auto attacks to the correct square before the last phase.

Lance isn't faster than dhch at vorkath, it is slower but with less supply cost which makes it more money p/h

Drops there are very few and far between. It would require a lot more overheard for supplies there unless you’re very lucky.

Eventually. But the scythe is still bis over the Keris so not much of an update needed.

@@AsukaYenOSRS got to disagree there, the Keris upgrade is extremely viable now against KQ, even in her second phase and costs nothing at all compared to the scythe

Guess i’m weird, I only play osrs to spend all my gp buying uncut dragonstones for my item hoard bank tab lol.
I don’t engage with any substantial content and I never do quest. All I do is kill sand/ammonite crabs and mine, which I then spend all my gold buying as much dragonstone as possible.
My endgame goal is eventually having a stack of 1M uncut dragonstones.
How do I do this as a uim?
