This guide is great thanks, i got to jad without a problem but i messed up at jad, first it was like panic cus it was the first time, secondtime i could not see his animation because of the healing animation and missed the switch :P gona try him a third time now. BTW one question when you say log out to save progress, what do you actually mean with it? like save progress if i die i start from there? or how do you mean sorry if this is a dumb question.
Thanks for the guide man. I finally gave fight caves a try and got my cape first try. Only times when i had minor problems and confusions were when the big melee guy and mage boy lined themselves up making it impossible for me to reach the ranged guy who was at the very end of the row. So I just figured I'd run behind all of them and kill them from there. Jad was really easy with the leg method, I once messed up prayer tho as i accidentally double clicked on range pray. Thanks again.

A little late for a comment, but your guide is the most comprehensible one out there. No joke I just got my first cape ever on the first time around with no sweat, at 75 range and 50 prayer! Thank you so much for the effort in organizing and breaking down the directions. Good job man!
Got my first cape because of this guide. I had been trying all sorts of recommended strategies for the waves-maneuvering, trapping, using different safespots, but I was taking unnecessary damage and getting flustered. This was more straightforward, much easier. Thank you!
I've never tried to get a fire cape before today, and I had no clue what to expect. Your guide helped me get it on the FIRST TRY! I had a window up also with the wiki's wave-by-wave breakdown of what monsters would be spawning on each wave so that I knew what to pray and when, but this guide helped me IMMENSELY. I'm still shaking from beating Jad for the first time. Thank you Silven!
Small tip: use npc indicator in runelite and put in "*". This will highlight all npc's. This makes it easier to spot where the healers are in the end. Got my first fire cape at second attempt. First attempt I died to Jad due to stress. It's pretty easy, just stay calm.

As I am quickly approaching 100 CB, I figured it was about time to finally get my fire cape. Looked up a few guides to doing fight caves before I started, and your method was by far the simplest and most straightforward. Died my first time around wave 45 because I wasn't paying attention to prayer, but 2nd time was much more smooth - now the proud owner of a fire cape! Thanks for the great vid!
Just wanted to say thank you for the guide, I was able to beat Jad today on my 4th attempt. And your guide made it very easy and helped out a lot. First time ever trying the fight caves I got to Jad and was expecting the attacks to come in much quicker than they did, and got too nervous failed the pray swap. Second try I got to the healers and died thinking I could just pull them out of range and then finish Jad, ended up almost dieing to them and Jad smacked a 60 on me while I was healing. Third attempt, killed the healers and coudln't find the last one, so decided to just muscle jad down despite the 1 healer still remaining, found out the healer was standing directly beneath me and instead of finishing Jad off at 10% hp I clicked targeted the last healer and missed the prayer swap. 4th attempt, nailed it :D 1 hour 6 minute run, only used up 2/3rds of my supplies

Watched this through twice and took a photo of the key waves. That really helped. Got to Jad on my first attempt but was panic pressing prayers. Same for second attempt. On third attempt (all in a row btw) i was much more confident and knew i didnt have to panic.. finally got my long overdue firecape!! i'm combat 100 haha PS anyone reading this - 91 range 70 prayer and i got to jad after using 3 brews and 4 restores. Wear full god dhide, barrows gloves and blow pipe with blessing and holy wrench if you've done the quest. Far easier than i was expecting Thanks
This guide really helped from eq & pots setup to key waves at a glance (9:47) Died 3 times, all 1 shot by Jad either by wrong prayer /panic misclicks / lag lol but finally got it at 4th try! :D
This guide helped me realize that it’s not as hard as it seems! I play on mobile, and my first try I got to wave 38, then my second I got to Jad! Then of course I panicked and prayed wrong, but I definitely feel more comfortable now. Thank you!
Honestly best guide ever!!!!!!!!! Got my first fire cape in my 5th attempt, I can't thank enough for this awesome guide, really appreciated. Pulling off the healers from the boss is the most important part of the whole boss fight, don't MESS it up, and keep 2 doses of ranging potion will help A LOT, I must emphasize it, "AAAAAA LOTTTTTT" in bringing down the boss health. I just got my firecape on the first try, I was so scared to try for so long but the calming vibe and clear explanation of your video made it look so easy. After years of putting it off and taking breaks in frustration of getting the levels to do Jad, after watching your video (multiple times) I finally went for it. Somehow I did it in my first try. My time was 83:47, but I don't care. My childhood dream of getting one has been achieved. Thank you, so much.
Time and time again I used Italy rock when I was a young teen to try and get through the waves and when I'd get to Jad, my supplies were low and the healers would kill me every time. This guide helped a bunch. Only took me THREE tries using the southwest corner and your slow but steady method at the healers got me through it and I FINALLY got a fire cape at 89 minutes in. I could've done it faster but I used the bathroom and took some breaks in between waves. You're a beast for this guide man! Thank you so much :)
I got my first fire cape ever! This video and the unlisted Jad video were by far the best guides on RUclips. Learning how to group up enemies during the gauntlet was invaluable, I was able to do waves 1-62 with relative ease with these tips. I died on Jad a few times, so I used your Jad video to practice before succeeding. Thank you!
This guide is hench. Ive done jad a few times successfully before but it had been a while. I did not want to spend the time and energy to fail. This method worked the first time. I vouch for it
Took a few tries, but once I calmed down on the healer bit of the Jad fight and focused on action, pray, attack, action pray attack it worked. Honestly never thought I'd ever get one, so thank you so much man. Very good video.
Im a level 102 who hadnt even attempted Jad, just simply because i felt unprepared and most other videos on youtube either didnt explain enough, or explained wayyyyyy too much and was overly complicated. This video was simple and straight to the point and within an hour of watching it I now of have my fire cape. Plus I got it without breaking a sweat, thanks so much for your video you have def earned a sub.
cb 112 here, i never tried Jad simply because i absolutely HATE using ranged. Decided it was time to get out of the purple cooking garment and got it on my 2nd try ever (first try with this dude's guide). Feels.

I started my attempts on Sunday, before this guide I died at wave 32, after finding it, I got all the way to Jad 4 times and choked. Once got past healers, then hit pray melee instead of range. Another attempt I let pray drop. And another one was just sloppy. On my 6th attempt in total (after NEVER doing a firecape before) I had the worst run all the way to Jad, spawns sucked, internet DCd twice through caves, but, through it all, I made it, and now weild a firecape with pride!! Thanks so much Silven!
I tried so many times on Italy rock and failed EVERY time at Jad, typically bc I got caught up trying to get the Healers. This time I used the rock you recommend, Dragon rock I think some people call it? And I fought Jad in the open, and brought some Chinchompas to pull the healers. Turns out I didn't even need to pull the healers, they all came at him in a straight line so they stopped each other. Only 1 was able to heal Jad and I was able to burn through it. I even made a few mistakes, leading to me dropping super low on health, but kept my composure with prayer switching and restoring health with brews, and restoring. Finally took him down. TL;DR: Thanks so much, you're a bamf!

Thanks for the guide. Got to Jad first try using this. Ended up getting my fire cape on my 3rd run. Brought 4 extra brews instead of prayer pots. I always was ending up with like 6 full prayer pots by the time I got to Jad and a few doses of brew. Thanks!

On my 3rd attempt, I finally did it. The first two I found safe spotting very easy, but Jad just took a little bit to get used to. On my 3rd attempt, I logged out around wave 57 and went to sleep. I woke up, took some time to relax, sat down and finished it. Great feeling. I've played on and off since 2002 yet have never really played seriously. This week I finished RFD and got my fire cape. Thank you for the guide, made this much easier.
After watching several guides, I watched yours and it was the one that gave me the most confidence to give it a shot. I recommend people have the wiki's wave-by-wave info up which helps you anticipate the next steps, then just go at it. I had no issue with any of the waves up until Jad, and with Jad the hardest thing is not losing your focus on his moves when the healers come out. Got my fire cape first try, thanks!
@Silven this helped me finish my first fight cave kill ever. it was easily explained in this video compared to other strats other people have. like you said its not a super efficient way but it was safe. Thank you for helping me get my first fire cape!

best guide for completing first fire cape, took a couple attempts as I didn't use sound, it genuinely makes it 100x easier listening for the Jad attacks than looking for them.

I've played runescape since 2002, but never set FOOT in the fight caves until today. Watched this video a couple times, and decided to yolo the caves before bed just to check them out. Had Dhide instead of barrows, a missing prayer pot, no pray scroll, and 0 prayer points when I walked in. Wasnt expecting to get far, but the waves just kept falling. Jad ALMOST healed to full on me because of one healer stuck behind him, but I barely tagged it. Walked out with a Fire Cape on my first time ever being in the fight caves. Thanks for the vid man.
First try!!! Jesus christ, thank you. I watched the video a couple of times to understand it fully and then managed to do it first try! What a day I've had on OSRS. Managed to boost construction with stews to max my house, obtained my quest cape and then got my fire cape! Days like this make the grind feel worth it.

Got it on my second try. Used your method and setup, but on my second run I used the method of luring the healers behind Italy Rock when Jad was spawned south of it. Helped me because my first time I freaked the hell out when the healers came out. Thanks for the video!

I followed this guide using the guthans/range setup. I finally did it! There's something ticked off the OSRS bucket list. I didn't use a toxic blowpipe, just karil's and the suggest pots. Although it took me 5-6 attempts overall, I got to Jad every time with no problems. Thank you for your guide!
Got my first ever fire cape thanks to this guide. A lot simpler than the guides using Italy rock. Played back in 2005 but never attempted until now. Managed to get it on 2nd try. I couldn't find Jad the first time and got 2-hit. Probably a tip to add is the orange mage boy may have moved toward you so get really close to it before it dies and Jad should be there.
Thanks for the guide, just got my first cape in osrs after 8 tries! The safespot you recommended was great for queuing up the bois and made every wave easy. RuneLite's tile markers on the corners made it very easy to line up everything and never misclick. As for Jad, the hardest part was trying to stay focused on prayer, health, and the healers, all while constantly watching jad's attacks. My nerves were rattling, but your "one action, then pray" advice was solid.
Man i followed this guide after 5 failed attempts at the final wave because i panicked or lacked pots... and got the courage to do it. Almost had an heart attack tho... but managed to get it! Thanks a lot man, it was a dream that became truth, since i was a child playing in 2007. Keep up with the good work and keep uploading videos like this.

Hey Silven I came back to this video to comment I finally got my fire cape using your method! I am a total noob with my first character in osrs and no other guide helped me get past the waves like yours did. It made them easy. It took me 9 tries at Jad because of the healers and pray switching. A couple things for me was making sure I changed to attack on left click and setting attack, inv and prayer to F1, F2 and F3. I did the whole first half of the fight longrange until I had all the healers then I swapped to rapid hit jad and tanked heals. Got the kill before healers got me. Huge thank you for this guide, bro.
Video helped me get my first fire cape. I'll be honest, I choked Jad on my first attempt. After logging off for almost an hour to calm down and get over myself, I went right back in and killed Jad on my second attempt. Main reason I even did it was for the fire cape master clue emote step, so I was able to finish that master clue. Thanks for the great video!

Sir Silven, I am on try 9 now and need assistance. I have been playing this game for 10 years but always made low level pking accounts. I am hitting a wall around 58. I get nervous about my pots and try to save then get bombed by the mage. Food has lost its taste... it’s been a 5 day struggle SOS.

Got firecappe thanks to this guide! its really simply tofollow along. another tip is to use dragon darts for jad it makes the kill so much quicker and easier hence less room for mistakes (change the darts before u finish off the last mager)
Just did i first try 78 cb 82 range 49 def 71 hp full void with blow pipe. I remember not being able to do this years ago when i was a kid now was so easy could of used a few more brews had a ton of prayer left over. had to much anxiety as a kid and would always die to jad because of prayer flicking now it was easy lol. I quit rs3 when eoc came out now i got back into playing osrs. RSN- Fresh0ut
This was the best Jad guide I have ever seen. The best tip was using the "faqs" video included in the description. The stretching and practice breathing was key. The most significant tip was how you mentioned killing the healers instead of worrying about trying to lure all of them. Solid video!

Watched this through twice and took a photo of the key waves. That really helped. Got to Jad on my first attempt but was panic pressing prayers. Same for second attempt. On third attempt (all in a row btw) i was much more confident and knew i didnt have to panic.. finally got my long overdue firecape!! i'm combat 100 haha
PS anyone reading this - 91 range 70 prayer and i got to jad after using 3 brews and 4 restores. Wear full god dhide, barrows gloves and blow pipe with blessing and holy wrench if you've done the quest. Far easier than i was expecting

This guide helped me realize that it’s not as hard as it seems! I play on mobile, and my first try I got to wave 38, then my second I got to Jad! Then of course I panicked and prayed wrong, but I definitely feel more comfortable now. Thank you!

Honestly best guide ever!!!!!!!!! Got my first fire cape in my 5th attempt, I can't thank enough for this awesome guide, really appreciated. Pulling off the healers from the boss is the most important part of the whole boss fight, don't MESS it up, and keep 2 doses of ranging potion will help A LOT, I must emphasize it, "AAAAAA LOTTTTTT" in bringing down the boss health. I did it with the healers appeared only once!!!! Subscribed this guy for offering such a great guide, hope all of you can get the fire cape very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my firecape on the first try, I was so scared to try for so long but the calming vibe and clear explanation of your video made it look so easy.

Time and time again I used Italy rock when I was a young teen to try and get through the waves and when I'd get to Jad, my supplies were low and the healers would kill me every time. This guide helped a bunch. Only took me THREE tries using the southwest corner and your slow but steady method at the healers got me through it and I FINALLY got a fire cape at 89 minutes in. I could've done it faster but I used the bathroom and took some breaks in between waves. You're a beast for this guide man! Thank you so much :)
I got my first fire cape ever! This video and the unlisted Jad video were by far the best guides on RUclips. Learning how to group up enemies during the gauntlet was invaluable, I was able to do waves 1-62 with relative ease with these tips. Took a few tries, but once I calmed down on the healer bit of the Jad fight and focused on action, pray, attack, action pray attack it worked. Honestly never thought I'd ever get one, so thank you so much man. Very good video.
Im a level 102 who hadnt even attempted Jad, just simply because i felt unprepared and most other videos on youtube either didnt explain enough, or explained wayyyyyy too much and was overly complicated. This video was simple and straight to the point and within an hour of watching it I now of have my fire cape. Took me three tries, but I got there. Ever since I was a wee lad, I thought the fire cap looked cool as all hell, and now I've got one of my own. Thanks, mate. Couldn't a done it without ya.
I started my attempts on Sunday, before this guide I died at wave 32, after finding it, I got all the way to Jad 4 times and choked. Once got past healers, then hit pray melee instead of range. Another attempt I let pray drop. And another one was just sloppy.
On my 6th attempt in total (after NEVER doing a firecape before) I had the worst run all the way to Jad, spawns sucked, internet DCd twice through caves, but, through it all, I made it, and now weild a firecape with pride!!

I tried so many times on Italy rock and failed EVERY time at Jad, typically bc I got caught up trying to get the Healers. This time I used the rock you recommend, Dragon rock I think some people call it? And I fought Jad in the open, and brought some Chinchompas to pull the healers. Turns out I didn't even need to pull the healers, they all came at him in a straight line so they stopped each other. Only 1 was able to heal Jad and I was able to burn through it. I even made a few mistakes, leading to me dropping super low on health, but kept my composure with prayer switching and restoring health with brews, and restoring. Finally took him down.

Thanks for the guide. Got to Jad first try using this. Ended up getting my fire cape on my 3rd run. Brought 4 extra brews instead of prayer pots. I always was ending up with like 6 full prayer pots by the time I got to Jad and a few doses of brew. Thanks!

On my 3rd attempt, I finally did it. The first two I found safe spotting very easy, but Jad just took a little bit to get used to. On my 3rd attempt, I logged out around wave 57 and went to sleep. I woke up, took some time to relax, sat down and finished it. Great feeling. I've played on and off since 2002 yet have never really played seriously. This week I finished RFD and got my fire cape. Thank you for the guide, made this much easier.
After watching several guides, I watched yours and it was the one that gave me the most confidence to give it a shot. I recommend people have the wiki's wave-by-wave info up which helps you anticipate the next steps, then just go at it. I had no issue with any of the waves up until Jad, and with Jad the hardest thing is not losing your focus on his moves when the healers come out. Got my fire cape first try, thanks!

I've played runescape since 2002, but never set FOOT in the fight caves until today. Watched this video a couple times, and decided to yolo the caves before bed just to check them out. Had Dhide instead of barrows, a missing prayer pot, no pray scroll, and 0 prayer points when I walked in. Wasnt expecting to get far, but the waves just kept falling. Jad ALMOST healed to full on me because of one healer stuck behind him, but I barely tagged it. Walked out with a Fire Cape on my first time ever being in the fight caves. Thanks for the vid man.

First try!!! Jesus christ, thank you. I watched the video a couple of times to understand it fully and then managed to do it first try! What a day I've had on OSRS. Managed to boost construction with stews to max my house, obtained my quest cape and then got my fire cape! Days like this make the grind feel worth it.

Got it on my second try. Used your method and setup, but on my second run I used the method of luring the healers behind Italy Rock when Jad was spawned south of it. Helped me because my first time I freaked the hell out when the healers came out. Thanks for the video!

Hey man, just wanted to say thank you so much for the guide! Just utilized it before going in and got the cape my first try. Had plenty of screw ups but it worked out! Jad fight wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. If you just keep your cool and take it slow and focus on switching all goes well. First time ever getting the cape! I followed this guide using the guthans/range setup. I finally did it! There's something ticked off the OSRS bucket list.
I didn't use a toxic blowpipe, just karil's and the suggest pots. Although it took me 5-6 attempts overall, I got to Jad every time with no problems.

Got my first ever fire cape thanks to this guide. A lot simpler than the guides using Italy rock.
Played back in 2005 but never attempted until now. Managed to get it on 2nd try. I couldn't find Jad the first time and got 2-hit. Probably a tip to add is the orange mage boy may have moved toward you so get really close to it before it dies and Jad should be there.
Just got my fire cape thanks for all the help. I never knew the orange mage's location points out where jad spawned.

The safespot you recommended was great for queuing up the bois and made every wave easy. RuneLite's tile markers on the corners made it very easy to line up everything and never misclick.
As for Jad, the hardest part was trying to stay focused on prayer, health, and the healers, all while constantly watching jad's attacks. My nerves were rattling, but your "one action, then pray" advice was solid.
Man i followed this guide after 5 failed attempts at the final wave because i panicked or lacked pots... and got the courage to do it. Almost had an heart attack tho... but managed to get it! Thanks a lot man, it was a dream that became truth, since i was a child playing in 2007. Keep up with the good work and keep uploading videos like this.

Hey Silven I came back to this video to comment I finally got my fire cape using your method! I am a total noob with my first character in osrs and no other guide helped me get past the waves like yours did. It made them easy. It took me 9 tries at Jad because of the healers and pray switching. A couple things for me was making sure I changed to attack on left click and setting attack, inv and prayer to F1, F2 and F3. I did the whole first half of the fight longrange until I had all the healers then I swapped to rapid hit jad and tanked heals. Got the kill before healers got me. Huge thank you for this guide, bro.

Video helped me get my first fire cape. I'll be honest, I choked Jad on my first attempt. After logging off for almost an hour to calm down and get over myself, I went right back in and killed Jad on my second attempt. Main reason I even did it was for the fire cape master clue emote step, so I was able to finish that master clue. Thanks for the great video!

I am on try 9 now and need assistance. I have been playing this game for 10 years but always made low level pking accounts. I am hitting a wall around 58. I get nervous about my pots and try to save then get bombed by the mage. Food has lost its taste... it’s been a 5 day struggle SOS.

Got firecappe thanks to this guide! its really simply tofollow along. another tip is to use dragon darts for jad it makes the kill so much quicker and easier hence less room for mistakes (change the darts before u finish off the last mager)

lol Zulrah is so easy compared to Jad, Zulrah has plenty of room for error. With Jad, one error can cost you an hour of waves.
Just did i first try 78 cb 82 range 49 def 71 hp full void with blow pipe. I remember not being able to do this years ago when i was a kid now was so easy could of used a few more brews had a ton of prayer left over. had to much anxiety as a kid and would always die to jad because of prayer flicking now it was easy lol. I quit rs3 when eoc came out now i got back into playing osrs. RSN- Fresh0ut

This was the best Jad guide I have ever seen. The best tip was using the "faqs" video included in the description. The stretching and practice breathing was key. The most significant tip was how you mentioned killing the healers instead of worrying about trying to lure all of them. Solid video!
