    If you recall the same thing happened two years ago. We discovered Shane Steichen wasn’t calling plays it was Siriani. When Shane started calling plays we started to win. You can almost tell who is calling plays

    Dumbing down the offense ONLY MAKES IT EASIER for opposing defense to STOP IT..😢

    Just a simply great point about Jalen Hurts and how he was best managed by Shane Steichen! There's been too much reaction - overreaction blaming Jalen. Besides 2022, why is it Philly fans don't remember two great come from behind wins against great opponents - Kansas City and Buffalo? Used to be a knock on QB's that they can't/don't come from behind to win games in the fourth quarter. Jalen's a gamer! Is he Dan Marino? No Deal with it.

    That's really sad to hear. Honestly, what a waste. I root for Hurts and want him to get it done but we got no time for this, AJ, Smith and Barkley won't be together for too long. The defense scheme is suspect but 80% of that defense is built. I feel like we definitely are just a QB away from contending. If Hurts doesn't bounce back until the end of this season we gotta pull off some kind of "Stafford to the Rams" trade.

      @Ocean5ix Geezus! First, did you see AJ or Smitty on the field against the Bucs? Lane Johnson? Nope So, Hurts was short-handed. Did Hurts allow Tampa to score over and over again? No He had to try and compensate for a woeful defensive performance. Y'all speak in such sweeping generalities with such inaccurate beliefs. That was that one game, against Tampa. Didn't Sirianni single-handedly lose the game against Atlanta? Yup Y'all wonder why Hurts gets pissed at Sirianni? It's because Siranni's a dope! Head coaches shouldn't lose games. They don't even get on the field.

      It's Moore's scheme scaled down to fit what Hurts does well or is comfortable with.

      @@mastermouaable OMG, you couldn't want a better competitor and student of the game than Hurts. Just as is noted in this video, it's on the coaching staff to accentuate Jalen's skills and minimize his limitations. It's not rocket science. But if you don't/can't give credit to Hurts, you're just reacting emotionally and neglecting all the success he's already had. What an overreaction...

    Kellen Moore knows what Jalen can do. He knows to build his passing game off the run game.
    Nick doesn't. He wants Hurts to hold the ball while long routes develops.
    No, this is not the offense Kellen wants with Hurts

    • @Ocean5ix
      @Ocean5ix 3 дня назад +1

      Not according to reports about Hurts in the offseason: "One team source described it as Hurts trying to play "hero ball." Another put it this way: "He was trying to prove he was worth $250 million every throw."
      In other words, it's impossible for us fans to really know who does what, who designs and calls plays and whether or not Jalen is going rogue and ignoring short routes to go for the big play.
      Problems are never as simple as just one guy being the source of everything. Honestly, do you really think Sirianni would want to lose his job on purpose? Think for a moment. In 2022 nobody had anything to say about Sirianni because of the team's success, why the hell would he spend the next 2 seasons making everything worse on purpose? It's ilogical. It's a lot easier for him to just let his OC do his job and reap the rewards. Which leads me to the obvious conclusion, this isn't all Nick sabotaging the offense by himself, the QB has his hands all over these issues.

      @63xMortis 3 дня назад +1

      @@Ocean5ix I'm with you, we have no way to find out for sure.
      What we do know for sure is Jalen and Nick aren't doing well together at all. And that Jalen did great with Shane Steichen running the offense and calling the plays when Nick actually stepped back.
      So for sure, get rid of Nick regardless. We have hurts for 3 year and there's nothing we can do about it. So if Hurts isn't good after 2 years with Kellen. Get rid of Hurts, then.
      Hero ball Hurts could be because he doesn't trust Nick's Scheme

      @@63xMortis Sure I guess. The curious thing is the question that was asked in a radio station the other day. What has Sirianni done to Hurts tha he hates him so much? Last season Hurts was in the MVP conversation during a lot of games, the team was undefeated up until week 10. While I agree that those wins looked terrible, Hurts is making it very hard to take his side in this situation because Sirianni takes bullets for him, owning Hurts' mistakes as if they were his, we heard from AJ last season saying they went "rogue" and Sirianni gave the media a stupid explanation to cover up for them. And how does Hurts acts when he has an opportunity to be a team player and a leader? By answering "we have our moments" when asked about his relationship with Sirianni. And that's the second time he did this in 2024. That's a stab in the back if you ask me. Regardless of how good or bad Sirianni is, I'm not sure this is the kind of guy playing QB for the Eagles. Is he going to be a problem everytime he disagrees with the HC? Hurts isn't paid to "trust" the scheme or not, he's paid to execute it.
      You said we're stuck with Hurts, you're right. But there's another simple solution that requires no commitment, not even firing Sirianni. Bench Hurts and let's see someone else pilot this offense. Nick Foles came from the bench to cover up for Wentz and the offense looked completely different, Jeffery was a different player with Foles on the field. In 2020 they benched Wentz and the offense looked better with Hurts. Maybe it's time we bench Hurts and let either Kenny "Picks" or McKee play. You might be wondering if I'm crazy suggesting to play Kenny Pickett, but honestly.. Hurts isn't making basic QB stuff on the field, Pickett is by no means the "future" of the Eagles but seeing him play with this high powered offense might just answer our questions about this team.
