Fortunately, I've been here for one week but I've learned a lot of things from you Greg.
Brilliant videos! I think I'm going to show each and everone to my students at school. Can't imagine to explain grammar any better than that. ❤
wow you're so brilliant! first time I do get the difference between these two tenses! And ... I ve been trained in english for more than 20 yeas and I did ask that question (difference between the 2 tenses) to several english teachers...with poor and ever changing answers ... Thank you so much
Thank u very much. I was still in confusion ever after watching lot of videos about this differences. Your examples gave simple explanation to understand better rather than confusing with lot of information and examples.
Thank you Greg for the lesson
Thanks a lot for your work🤝
Dear Greg, during your explanation you are using Present Perfekt as well. Would you please explain, why have you choosen in video 7:27 this tense. "....because the breakfast has finished and this nothing I can change......," Thank you in advance.
Fantstically , you explain us clarily . Think you very much

Hi Greg, I'm from Brazil. I used to have difficult to understand british accent, but ever since I watched your video by the first time, my difficulties are disappearing.
Yes, wonderful Teacher.
Thank you for this wonderful lesson.
Thanks a million Greg! It's the best explanation I've heard!!
You're a great teacher Greg.
Good job! Thank you for understanding students' mistakes
Mientras veía tu interesante video me preguntaba, ¿cómo se usará el presente perfecto en inglés británico, como en España o como en Latinoamérica? Resulta que, si entendí bien, se usa de las dos maneras, pero para que se entienda de la forma española hay que agregar la partícula “just”. Sin esta partícula, el uso parece coincidir con la forma latinoamericana. Amazing!
Excellent course,thx lot mr Greg
Thank you Greg! I really appreciate your help! Lots of blessings to you and your family!
Thanks Mag 😊
Thank you very much for good lesson.
I follow several teachers on RUclips and I can claim you're the one who give the clearest explaination about this topic.
But there is another example that is good too : the action that has current consequence : "I have lost my home key" has a consequence : I can't go into my house. Of course, if I say "Yesterday, I lost my key" I can still have to sleep at a friend's place - this is the consequence- but yesterday has passed.
Bref c'est parfois un peu compliqué,surtout que les Américains semblent utiliser le past simple même avec "just"!
In any case, when you say "ever" = in one's life I understand better than ever why présent perfect has to be used.

Thanks a lot for your lesson today...from Perú
Thanks Greg, that was a great stuff. Tara!
Best english teacher ever!
Thank you for your explanations and the many examples of how to use these tenses. I am French and taught English before I retired; actually, I gave the same explanations to my students BUT I once went on a teacher training course in England and the leader of the group- an English teacher- gave us a few minutes to find the answer to some problem. In the end, she asked us " well, what DID YOU FIND?" .....all the French teachers in the group were very surprised as we would have asked " what HAVE YOU FOUND?", what would you say in that case?
Thank you very much!
You are brilliant teacher
Thank you Greg. Best explanation ever!!! Now I really understand the difference!
Excellent tutorial,thx lot
You are wonderful teacher Mr.Greg I wish to you succes and prosperity. Dr.Naser
Great lesson. Thanks Greg.
Well, this one is pretty straight forward.
Have you done a piece on "It is the first time I am in England" or "It is the first time I have been to England. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that.
the best teacher ever ! Greetings from Peru 🙌
Wow... explanation was incredible...past cannot change
Thank you for your videos, that helps me out a lot. I have a question about the sentence “have you heard the news…” You use it for an example in your book, about to listen/to hear. I understand that I say “listen to the radio”, because I do this active but why do I ask “have you heard the news…” because I concentrate myself on the news more than on the radio generally. I’m sorry for my English.
Your way of explanation is clear and simple. Thank you.
Can I say I have had a cup of tea this morning ,thanks god bless you
thank you teacher I ve learned more in your Eng lesson and iwii continue view this channel

So I wonder how can you help someone to improve his listening skills?
Because I watch your video with subtitles, it's the biggest problem I have in english.
You are very good english teacher sir
Excellent teaching
You are best teacher ❤
Thank you very much for this video really really very helpful for me... because it is very confused a subject for me what is deference between that two tenses
That's great.
it is really helpful sir, thank you
Thank Greg for your very clarifying videos. Let's suppose the following ongoing situation. I took a flight from Boston to Miami with a stop in New York. The passenger next to me asked me where I boarded the plane. And my answer was "I boarded the plane in Boston" (simple past because the action is finished, I will not go back to Boston again, correct?) Or should I have answered "I have boarded the plane in Boston", since the flight has not landed in Miami yet? May I have your comments, please?
the greatest teacher
Greg your lessons are just perfect, I'm forever grateful for you making this channel 👍😉🙏 In this video I'm confused about you saying "2007 HAS finished", "breakfast HAS finished". Why "has"? Why not "2007/breakfast IS finished?
great great teacher
i have enjoyed ur videos starting from ur 'past progressive vs. past perpect progressive' up until now and i think u are my key to my fluency thanks u

Great.
Your teaching is great Sir
very clear explanation!
Good afternoon, if in both tenses they do not have the adverb of time and you do not specify when or where, etc., can I use both regardless of whether it ended just now or seconds ago or hours ago or yesterday or more before?
Thank youuu🤩🤩
