So nice to see you playing the Excelsior. Please consider playing some more of these vintage accordions as they lend a wonderful different tone to your playing and sound.
We love Alex! Hoping to see you in Milwaukee early August. My favorite line of all time..."Hey hey, everybody...listen to me......If you drink, you're going to die! But if you don't drink...:-) Such a great entertainer. I picked up a shirt and a great pic with Alex at Wurstfest in New Braunsfeld a few years ago.
Love the detail on the front panel of that old Excelsior, and this is a wonderful tune! Don't suppose you'd be willing to share/publish the sheet music?
Hey Alex. Great polka. I have purchase Chicago Waltz and Julida polka for my concert band to play. And we play them at monthly concerts in Senior citizens assisted living homes . Can you please put this into a concert band format? I’m a Chicago Larry’s sister. Thank you 🙏🎶
This model Excelsior is my favorite one! I wish I could find someone willing to restore the piano keyboard. I love the polka! You are in inspiration, Alex!
I have an excelsola looks identical made in New York same polka Reed layout sounds similar too. I also have another excelsior (not excelsiola) maybe same age as yours that's torn apart to get the smell out of it l. It needs work but sound is amazing. It's been airing out for 2 years at a friends house. I need to figure out where I placed the reed blocks now that I think about it. I just love the action on these boxes
KEVIN AND I WERE NOT ABLE TO SEE YOU AT SANGERBUND. KEVIN HAD HEART ATTACK AND OPEN HEART SURGERY. CAN YOU SEND A NICE NOTE AND I WILL SHOW IT TO HIM. THANK YOU.
