Which TT blade are you using ? Is it of Donic or other company ?
Is it the paper organic glue to for rubber attachment?
It looks so easy till you try first time and ruin two sheets of nice 05s..
I practiced on cheap rubber and it cut no problem, then I laid on Tenergy 05 and I could hear it tearing as I was cutting! Turned out not too bad, but you really do have to use force and a fresh blade!
Never do it this way. Get a _long_ kitchen knife and sharpen it.
Dampen the smooth side (the hitting side) of the rubber all the way around the edge.
Hold the blade by the handle. You won't be using the table for this.
Starting near the handle, _pull_ the knife through the rubber in single long strokes, from smooth side to blade side, the knife kept at 90 degrees perpendicular to the plane of the racquet. Naturally you won't pull in the opposite direction or else you might pull the rubber off the edge of the blade.
Each pull-slice will take about 3 inches around the blade.
By the time you've made your way to the other side of the handle, you'll have expert long strokes, no jaggies, no possibility of pulling the rubber off in any way.
When you get really good at this, you won't need a knife, or any water. Eventually I just used a high-quality large pair of fabric scissors, but (once again) applying a bit of pressure down while cutting continuously, toward the blade-side of the racquet.
Same with me
I realize it's kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to watch new tv shows online ?
@Callen Nathanael I watch on Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
Which Type of glue are you using in this video. Can su send me a link ore the name?
Thanks. And good videos

Nice Cut Perfect!\m/
Where can I buy that glue
thank you for the tutorial, BMO
i was going to say, BMO is that you? lol
Donic vario clean glue. A very good one
Looks perfect
Thank you 👌
When the narrator says to cut the rubber using appropriate force i think she should precise that it is really hard to cut the rubber perfectly as this guy did, so you have to really force to cut it well.
Mostly the cutters are dull because the blade isnt change frequently, so I would recommend a fresh new cutter for it too.
this seems easy to do but it takes a lot of practice to get the final result good.
Nice sound ,,
Hello thanks for the video. Can we use regular white glue (used for general purpose ?)
I don't want to spend extra 15$ just to glue old paddles.
You can buy rubber cement from supermarket instead.
굿
Thanks
Trying to get some old rubber off an old blade from the speed glue days. Already tore a bit of ply off the wood. Tried acetone and mineral spirits without much success. Don't have any zippo lighter fluid on hand but i have lacquer thinner, kerosene, denatured alcohol, and rubbing alcohol 91%. Any suggestions? Thx!
Buy new blade and lacquer it before putting rubber, that way you seal wood.

pagal
I want you to bring about cutter.
Where do you get that nice green cutting board?
Steve Soper It is in many shops which sell stationery in Hong Kong
hey man which rubbers should i use with "butterfly korbel petr fl" blade??
is Tenergy 05 fx and stiga calibra lt a good choice??
Ah.....I think It really depends on the player himself. It is really very hard to judge. Personally friends in our group have also used Tenergy series for a period of time. Majority of us are now using Barracuda for the moment.
That was a great cut! And only 1 pass?
Question. In this video you aligned the bottom of the rubber to the handle and then laid the rubber lightly on the blade. On other videos I see people "rolling the rubber down" instead of laying it flat before rolling. Isn't rolling the rubber down better as it will provide better surface contact, avoid air getting in between the rubber and the blade, and the sponge from scrunching?
He LITERALLY uses a roller dude. what are you talking about?
I agree but I think it all comes down to individual preference. I see Dimitrij Ovtcharov pulling the rubber tight with one hand while the other hand rolls the rubber to make sure the surface is tight and secure from any unwanted air intrusions. But according to Dima, sometimes people prefer to just roll the rubber without tightening the surface as it generates more spin.
Why we have to brush glue in one direction.? Why is that so important and if it is which direction we should use.?
Hi, I was just wondering if only 1 pass is required for a perfect clean cut or should we pass through the rubber with the blade multiple times? What works best?
+YWxkcmlu osu! just once
One pass is the best. Make sure you use BRAND NEW big blade (not the narrow pocket ones) 'cause bigger handle and wider blade will cut the quality tough rubber through first attempt. Consistent strong pressure and slow motion is needed. Don't forget a proper cutting board (or an old phone book). Watch how you turn the blade or you move around to cut it. This guy has done it hundreds of times so it looks easy. If you buy rubbers in Hong Kong, they'll glue it for free on the spot. :)
Multiple passes might damage your blade or create uneven edges.
@@spaceinvader384 great description thank you
shouldn't we stretch the rubber as we put it on the blade?
It's better to not stretch the rubber
Why should glueing with one directions, and what is the effect?
it will last longer
any recommendations on glue?
Karl P Revolution No. 3 Glue
whats up with the same direction?
It helps remove the chance of ridges or uneven accumulation of glue
PAULO HENRIQUE DE MIRANDA
Do not put glue on the surface of the rubber, put it on the sponge side of the rubber.
If the glue drys how will it stick?
It is the way they "say" it. The glue is almost in a "dry" state and that's when you actually put the rubber and blade together (glue it).
Excellent Video...! Do you consider Donic better than Butterfly rubber or why did you choose Donic? Thanks for sharing
From my understanding, the demonstrator just chose Donic sporadically, Donic and Butterfly are both sold in the shop and both are very often bought by customers.
Donic is pretty poor
@@2xmachine did u know that ovtcharov uses tenergy 05 on both forehand and backhand he doesn't show that because he has been sponsored by donic
What happens if you use double sided tape instead
Hahaha what are you thinking?
Baracuda, que buen caucho.
Does PVA glue work?
No
Lmao
Ovcharov says not to use a hairdryer to dry the glue.
How do you cut so cleanly? Teach me how! :)
I second this! I use a brand new razor blade and mine still comes out jagged.
Try to keep the blade going straight down the whole time you're cutting. If it is cutting the rubber at an angle it tends to rip some small chunks off and comes out jagged.
I also need taught! Need to find a longer blade... I used a standard Stanley blade and the handle was catching on the edge of the bat as I was moving round.
Just do it 500 times a day and after 2 years your good
I need a ping pong shop in our area that replaces rubbers.
What happens if you don't brush in one direction 💀
If i did it wrong, how to clean the rubber ?how to remove the old glue ?
I think most of it comes of when you remove the rubber
I use something with a lot of friction and just rub. Bubble wrap works surprisingly well.
GT85
Whoch glue?
Why do you spread the glue in only one direction?
BTW, impressive looking watch at 00:46 :-)
ulol
Going in one direction will prevent air bubbles.
See you put more glue on the black rubber
Ndak mangarati den doh
I like rubber secondhand my economy is not easy
Omg I. M DarthMelon
JUST GLUE IT
i glue it with sperm
@@yuichi1925 and you wonder why no one will play with you
Why let it dry
Stewart Brown
may be the detailed description of "let it dry" is
:
let the glue liquid to change from the stage which is water like to a stage which 'appears' drier. It usually at least takes several minutes. You can use a fan to help accelerate the process.
it will adhere the rubber and the blade better
I cannot apply mobile screen protector. This is very far from my abilities
anyone know what type of glue he used
crazy awesome stuff32 "she" used butterfly chack free glue. I don't know where she got the BOTTLE from
how to glue table tennis rubber ( Grass) ?
