I think it’s perfect for a rustic cottage kitchen with the metals. That’s very popular. The height is correct also. Very smart furniture flip! I would buy it!!
I was thinking the same thing. If it were mine I think I would have fit some smaller planks to butt up against the sides. But it’s a really cute idea! And it really looks great. Gives me a lot of inspiration😁😁
We actually ordered them through Amazon - www.amazon.com/FactorDuty-Swivel-Caster-Wheels-High-Gauge/dp/B07BHNFY3B/ I added the link into the description of "things we used" as well, thanks for the reminder!
It was made to be standard island height. It just looks short because Ethan is very tall (almost 6'5")... so it's a bit of an optical illusion. If we were keeping it for ourselves, we would have probably made it bar height to accommodate how tall we are. But this one is already sold and gone 😊
Ethan built it to standard island height... he's very tall :-) so it appears low when he's standing there. If we were building it to keep for ourselves we would have made it custom height since we're both well over 6'... but this one wasn't for us.
I can see repurposing a dresser if its damaged, but dismantling a solid wood dresser like this........shameful. Espically erasing the parts that make it untique.

Enjoy watching your work from Belgium 😀
Another great idea!
Came out Super nice!👍👍
Thank you!
Should have fit the shelf better. gap between shelf and side wall is a dirt catcher. otherwise a great idea

Hello from Greece!
I love it!
Where did you get the metal wheels?

Cool!
By the way the rustic plank wood with imperfections is very trendy right now!
Great job. But it looks too low to be island height. Will be good storage and extra surface space.

I could sense some imbalance between the sides of the legs from where u have cut them. U should have balanced them before affixing wheels to them.
Muy bonito, pero yo lo hubiera puesto al revés, con la preciosa moldura que va debajo y casi no se ve, hacia arriba.
How clever, but it seems a little low!

Shameful seems a little harsh.
Completely disagree! Dressers like that are a dime a dozen! That furniture flip is very smart and now it’s more useful!
