  • This is certainly one of the warmest day experienced on the water . We did not have to travel far to reach the Scottish Riviera . Starting at high tide made our trip difficult , fishing was somehow dour . Highlight of the day was the playful dolphin cruising pass . It would be possible to keep up with those creature using a light and fast kayak . Temperature rose to around 29C , a beautiful day on the Clyde estuary we love . We did caught a few fish , mostly pollock , dab and Colley . Thank you Gourock for all the facilities and glorious weather .

      пришлось надевать гидрокостюм в море, его гораздо проще постирать в конце поездки и прохладнее тоже. Экстремально жаркая погода Владимир товарищ

    It looked hot. I'm fishing right now. Had contend with a stiff breeze for a bit. I think I caught my first Black-mouthed Cat-shark. Got off before I had it aboard. Caught an LSD too. Nothing else. It's better where you are

      @@NicolasValentinScotland we found an egg case at the north end of Westport beach, Kintyre, & another on Colonsay. There were some kayak fishermen up from Southern England that were after Flapper Skate. I think they caught one.

    This might be a silly question. You catch the fish and leave it back! Is it the law that you need to leave it back due to the size or is it you are fishing just for fun and leaving them back?

    • @NicolasValentinScotland
      @NicolasValentinScotland  Год назад +1

      That is a good question . When the fish is big enough I can take it home . If I need a fish to take home to eat I might take one . I love eating fish and also I love returning fish back to the sea . I fish for the sport and try to understand different methods of catching those fish . The way I fish is sustainable , I only take what I need and protect our way of living .

    Nico I’ve been out 8 times now on the kayak and never caught a single fish. Been down at rhu and arrochar mostly on drop shot and spinners. Also tried ragworm and the prawns that u often fish with. I must be getting something wrong when I’m on the kayak. Gushed my whole life and catch almost every trip shore fishing. Any help?
