Filming started after a delay because of Hurricane Andrew. A Cat 5 hurricane that hit us here. There are scenes if you look closely when Ace is driving to the kickers hometown, you can trees flatten all over the place, the storm happened just 6 months before shooting. Jim Carrey was talking about how in some areas it still looked like a BOMB went off. The older man that was putting the mail in the box is the Famous, Hall of Famer coach, The Great, Don Shula. He still has the record for the most win by an NFL Coach to this day.. RIP Coach.

This kept making money. They offered him 200, he said no, this kept making money! And this continued on and on, until he got his price up to 7mil!!!!

He was thinking about birds, the walk is like a bird's, the clothes are all colorful, his hairdo is like a cacatoo's crest, even the way he talks, is like over the top and scandalous like a parakeet. He also mentioned that he went to dinner with Anthony Hopkins and found out that he used a similar method to get in character for Hannibal Lecter. Hopkins thought about snakes and tarantulas, how they are so calculating and silent when creeping on their prey.

If you love Jim Carry I recommend 3 more movies that don't hit most people's radar, but are his best performances. Man on the Moon, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Kickass 2 ( He tried to get out of this movie after learning how violent it was, but was under contract. He put in a performance so well you almost can not tell which character is him.)
also his somewhat more of a drama stuff, like truman show or eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, which is brilliant in my opinion, both considering a super interesting idea for a script and carrey's great performance there to be honest i was quite surprised how convincing he was as an introverted and shy person, considering how colorful his character is (i mean irl here), at least in the limelight
