I died and it all went black. I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and awoke to see my dad sitting on the bed beside me. He says "Let's go fishing." as he messes up my hair. I get up, dressed and walk out to the kitchen where he's at the table finishing a cup of coffee, mom, sister and brothers asleep in their beds. In heaven I am seven, my heart is smiling on the way to the reservoir. In thirty-two years I'll be writing this down in a notebook and for the first time in my life I'll think and know that I've seen and felt heaven. It was only forgotten but I remember now.
