    Love mines - it’s very comfortable, stylish and very quiet on the road. It handles nicely and those 20” aluminum wheels are sharp!🦾🦾🦾

      I have the Encore GX and the front seats are narrow and uncomfortable. Wondering if the front seats in Envision are wider?

      Are the low profile tires rough on the road or does the suspension help a lot? My regal stiff suspension and low profile give a very rough but fun ride

    I test-drove one.. Was very good. You did a really good review. Hats off to you sir. One thing I noticed missing from this vehicle that i thought was odd for Buick was ( blind side monitoring on the mirrors - you know the thing that flashes if someone comes up but as you said they are not there because of circuit issues), no automatic folding mirrors, no signal lights on mirrors, and the other was no lumbar support. i was astonished it didn't have that. Beyond that it was an amazing drive, full of features ( if you get tech package ) that gets that huge panoramic sunroof, mirror thing you can flip, self parking, sensors, 360 camera ) etc. Just a pity about those missing extras. Oh and no vented air but there was heated in front and rear. How do you think this holds up to the Mazda CX-5? The CX-5 seems to be a little dated.

      Thanks for sharing! GM made the decision to build the 2023 Envisions without blind spot monitoring or rear cross traffic alert due to chip/component shortages. It was one of the only non-retrofits GM went with. All of the 2023s were built without them and given a credit off the MSRP because of it. I imagine the MY2024s will have that feature.

    Very nice review! The Buick Envision is a SUV that flies under the radar but it is a very nice, comfortable and capable vehicle. I would classify it as a premium SUV not a luxury but I am very happy with my 2021 and trust me I have had many very nice cars over my life span. One minor correction, the second Gen Envision came out in 2021 not 2022. The Gen 1 SUVs were capable but very bland. The Gen 2 is a surprisingly attractive vehicle in real life.

    • @PRNTestDrive
      @PRNTestDrive  11 месяцев назад +1

      We featured the first generation back in 2019 I believe, and I agree it was bland. Sure it felt like a smaller Enclave, but this new generation is seriously good. They're very popular options and has helped Buick remind people they still exist and can make great vehicles. The 2024 facelift looks great also, we're looking forward to those.

    I guess we don't get the ST in the US. I'm not finding one nationwide.

    • @PRNTestDrive
      @PRNTestDrive  11 месяцев назад +1

      It's likely sold the same way it is here, it's technically an Essence trim with the Sport Touring package added on. See if that uncovers any!

    • @PRNTestDrive

      In this instance they won't, unfortunately it's something that wont be retrofit.

    • @AndrewKarpyszyn

      That's what I would hope for, a promise to get the missing feature when the parts become available.

    • @PRNTestDrive
      @PRNTestDrive  Год назад +1

      On our GM ordering system they make a note that these specific parts are not available for retrofit, which is why a larger credit is provided. 2024 model years are getting a facelift and should be built with the missing features.

    • @AndrewKarpyszyn
      @AndrewKarpyszyn Год назад +1

      @@PRNTestDrive I guess it's six of one and a half-dozen of the other. At least they are giving a bigger credit, they could have just as easily done nothing.

    I love mine. But does anyone know if they have the running lights inside even around the glove box. I could have sworn in saw that part illuminated but it went out. Took it to the dealer and they said that there is no lights that ran over the glove box. But I thought I saw that.
    Let me know.

    • @PRNTestDrive
      @PRNTestDrive  2 месяца назад

      I don't believe there are any lights in the glove box unfortunately. Most are designed these days to drop down with a rear lip to avoid losing anything out back, which ends up blocking where a light would have been.

    • @PRNTestDrive
      @PRNTestDrive  7 месяцев назад +1

      It's not that the Buick CAN'T have it, GM made the decision based on microchip shortages to deliver the vehicle without these features rather than hold off until supply caught up.

      When I bought my 2021 I didn't realize it was made in China until after I purchased it. However, it is a quality and very well built car. Most cars manufactured in the U.S. and Canada today have a very significant amount of foreign content. They are only "assembled" in North America.

      If you're comparing to consumer vehicles then sure, it's more than a Chevrolet Equinox or Ford Escape, but Buick is more of a premium brand, so compared to an Acura RDX or Infiniti QX50 it comes fully loaded for $3-5k CAD less than the starting price for those.
