The military service is the one that gets me. If you serve you should be able to opt onto citizenship at any point, as long as you haven't actively worked against the country. I am still angry over those Mexican nationals that served and were sent back over an unclear paperwork loophole. That is bull! That didn't even know the language, and were sent to Mexico. They should have been given a right to remedy.
Your right military service should automatically grant citizenship as long as their are no extenuating circumstances
@@BadRifleMotivation yeah if they're good enough to kill and die for a country, being entered into active service, they should have citizenship of the country.
I was a recruiter for the Marines and if you're not a citizen when you join, you're one before graduating boot camp. This is simply the Social Security department fuking with him. Id get a good lawyer and take them to court.
This is sad and really upsets me my father served 42 years in the army retired a commanding s argent major then worked 20 years at the post office . and they denied him his visibility pay and social security up until a month after he died then he got the approval letter , well my mom did as he was dead. This upsets me so bad.
I think anyone who serves honorably in the military should be granted citizenship. It's so sad that he's had all this happen to him and like you say not unique. I've been on disability and going review now, I'm scared myself. I'm not physically or mentally able to work. So very scared.
I think only US citizens should be able to serve in the US military.
This man never served. He was accepted, then got a better offer, and took that.
How did he Vote?! This is RIDICULOUS!.
There's literally a Trump sign visible on his door in some of the news reports. He's been voting against "illegal immigration", but, oops... turns out he's an illegal immigrant.
He is an American.
He is. His dad is American. This is ridiculous
This is why legal immigration matters.
Service guarantees citizenship!
Nope
@@ojrivas6843 obvious meme went ovee your head I am afraid.
I went to college with a guy who was facing possible deportation. His parents legally migrated to the US from the USSR in the 80's. When they applied for immigration, he wasn't conceived yet. Their immigration was approved something like 9 years later and he was 2 years old. He turned 18, graduated high school and started college. He was a junior when he was informed that he wasn't a US citizen and that he had 1 year to apply or get deported. It wasn't just putting in the application but it had to be approved paperwork to begin the process and apparently it was usually denied. I told him about the military program that non-citizens could enlist and serve to gain citizenship. He joined the Marines and was accepted as an officer candidate because of his math degree. I don't know what happened to him after we graduated college but I hope he is still here in the States.
I found myself in the exact situation as this gentleman about 10 years ago. I served in the army back in 1986. I was registered as a US citizen which I needed to be in order to obtain a social security number. It all came to light when my wife bought cruise tickets for my family and I. Ultimately I was denied a passport and couldn't go on the cruise, even though I paid for the passport. They kept the money. I've contacted several lawyers over the past ten years and not one of the could help. The laws are so convoluted everyone is confused. I've coined a name for myself, The Ilegal Veteran. Al.ost two years ago my father died and I couldn't attend his funeral because he decided years ago to plan his funeral and be buried in Canada with his parents.i just don't know where to turn to.
Dang
Like you said
Give him a refund at least.
Btw
Nice string of videos and commentary today
I'm going through this stuff now. Was born in Philippines had a social honed navy, found outn10 yrs ago I was considered permanent resident. My mom messed up paper work and my permanent status expired. Mom never filed for my citizenship. It BS
so your blaming your mom for not doing the paperwork right?
@@Halo3Matalix Presumably, he was a child at the time. What's wrong with you?
@@jaybleu6169 still it's not our problem his mother did the paperwork wrong
@Halo3Matalix yes, you're right. I'm blaming my mom, but more so, my step dad for not helping her navigate the red tape. And I was a child. That don't make a difference. It's my parents fault for not doing their job. 8ndont blame the country. It would still protect these lands. But trying to remedy it should not be such a nightmare, either. Especially when illegals have sp many accesses and help.
As a Marine & a patriot, this disgusts me. The only thing he should be denied is being able to become President. He's earned everything else.
Agreed
He did not serve. He was accepted, then got a better offer and took that.
Also, there's a Trump sign visible on his door in various new reports. Do you not think he deserves to experience the policies he's been advocating for others to experience?
It sounds like parents didn’t fill all the paperwork neeeded. My parents are natural citizens. I was adopted from Africa at age 12 and upon landing on American soil I was sworn in as a citizen at airport in Chicago.
When I was 26 yrs old I got a letter from SSA they told me I qualify for retirement benefits keep in mind I worked every since I was 14 yrs old non stop 😅 sometimes 2 jobs for yrs
If his biological father is American. Then by American law he is an American by default. You can either become a citizen by being born in America specifically on American soil. Or one of your parents have to be American. If I was him I would sue and get double of what I deserve. Mind blowing that he even allowed it to occur.
He said he voted… any red flags here?
no? that's just how voting works in usa. they don't actually know who is eligible to vote from some default database :D technically they're not supposed to even have a database of citizens or where they live (ssn is technically optional, supposedly, as well). this is what makes identity theft in usa so easy.
And he voted republican so I guess that’s what they always bitch about?
7:59 i agree 💯👍 again brother 😊
Been following and I believe he will win this case easily with his lawyer. The case against him is that he cannot prove his dad lived in the U.S within 10 years before he was born. I'm pretty sure a genealogists will find something.
He is a child of an American, his dad should've APPLIED for his citizenship. This case needs an immigration attorney.
So he says.
This is absolutely crazy
I remember facing something like this when I was in my 20s. Really very different, but I applied for something, and the govt basically said "we're not sure you are a citizen". I was born in Germany, and my birth certificate looks very different. It's printed in red ink. But I was born to a mother and father who were both US citizens...and my birth certificate specifically states "United States citizen born abroad". I got it sorted out, but....blah
My niece has this issue. She was born while my brother was stationed in Germany. Because her birth was a VBAC (natural delivery following a previous c-section), she was born in a civilian hospital rather than the one on post. Makes things a little complex from time to time.
You rock bro 😎
Where is all his money then. They just don’t want to pay this man. The government is a fucking joke. We are all just their employees
The U.S. and Canada have a Totalization Agreement(as does the U.S. and many countries)so it's possible anything he put into the U.S. system will allow him to collect in Canada. Not that he should have to do this but he wouldn't be completely screwed by our idiocy. Given that from the little we have seen of this person here, we would be the one's who lose out as we lose what appears to be a good "citizen" out of beauracratic errors.
Send that guy to jail!! He's been voting illegally!!!!
Regardless if he came here legally or not, this man paid taxes and served his country…. I’m anti illegal immigration but in this case… give this man his check
Did he not have a birth certificate from Canada
So people in the comments are misunderstanding that he's a service member. He only signed up to be never served
1:58 - 2:09 its more likely gov worker has made a mistake either then or new, 90s and before that workers responsible for that stuff were ferry sloppy
Imagine the double fkn standard
Yeah, because Canada is a better system. Please. It's even worse. Also, the problem is that he did serve his country in a time when we were all supposed to love the country. Now we're all supposed to be unhappy because they tell us we are. But, look who they're willing to give money to. This NON US citizen can not have it, but this one can? Ask why that is. Replacement is happening for all of US. Believe it.
He needs a go fund me
This is so unfair
Canada doesn’t want him
OMG 😮
His dad was an American. It is his birthright. End of story.
This seems f@cked but I need to watch the rest
3:47 the most absurd phrase: he assumed he’s American.
How is it absurd? If your a kid, you just go by what your parents say. And if you got a SSI number, license, served, voted...etc, why would you ever question if your American or not?
He is "American"
The dad is American....He is American too. His dad should have applied for his citizenship

Hi there can I ask you for a reaction you are going to enjoy a lot? IT si BTS song Hip Hop Lovers live is better but lyrics are mandatory the song is a shout out to the hip hop culture !! With Love from Spain 🇪🇸
Idk- I'm on the fence about this guy. How can he live here all these years and hear nothing??
I'm not buying it! Did he have a legit ss#????
More than likely someone misplaced important paperwork. He has actual evidence
He a economic migrant as well he’s illegal
His father was American born and bred, who lived in NY, then went to Canada met a Canadian, got married had a kid and then moved the family back to America when the kid was 2. Unless his dad moved to Canada when he was 9 years old or younger, his dad would have lived in the US for more than 10 years before the man in the video was born, making him a US Citizen.
@@Vyperus69exactly. That person commenting is lost

Average Red Piller response to Immigration: They should all just come through legally like my ancestors did.
Average Red Piller response to this situation: WHAT A TRAVESTY! WE NEED TO FIX IMMIGRATION! HOW CAN IT BE THIS MESSED UP?!
Not realizing that this story shows immigration has been totally and completely neglected as a government office for over 60 years: _PRICELESS_
Also: he stated, on the record, that he had voted multiple times. Where are all of the "illegal immigrants are voting!" screamers at on this one? Oh right, this doesn't fit the narrative. Isn't that what you all say when your opposition ignores such blatantly obvious information to not harm their carefully crafted Woke narratives? Weird.
Congratulations. You took a story and made it fit your narrative by ignoring the one detail that separates this from the examples your alluding to.
@@terryhiggins5077 What detail exactly?
@@robertpresley1503 That his dad is American, which means citizenship is his birthright. Unlike the illegals that cross constantly.

This is why social security should be abolished. People need to be responsible for their own retirement.
Huh? How do people get money once retired? Work still? Unless you made a lot of money to invest into various things like stocks, there is no magical way to get money when you retire. Seems like your not retirement age yet. And remember, once you retire (now at least), you have to spend a ton of money on forced medicare costs. Which eats up a lot of your social security check.
It will collapse within the next 2 generations, unless people magically start having more babies.....
Social Security will fail within 2 more generations unless folks start having more children. It's not sustainable at current birthrates and benefit rates.
@@ThatShyGuyMatt well in the old days once the parents got to old to work their kids took them into their homes and cared for them.
