What I really like about this keyboard (Krome) is how easy it is to use combo mode to edit, match and replicate sounds for top 40 music. This is a cover band workhorse.

Not because I'm pissed off with Korg (I have a Triton, which is still amazing) but I don't want someone to make the same mistake as myself, and regret spending the money. If you can - TRY IT OUT FIRST!!! I purchased a Krome EX 61, and put it up for sale after 4 days. Why? The keys - they felt like a £49 Casio keyboard, and I'm shocked that Korg let this go from the production line. With a list price of about £995, it's not a complete budget synth.
I bought a Krome EX 73,just under a year ago and sold it before I even finished making payments on it.70% of the sounds are garbage and no audio export options.I put in a preorder for the Korg Nautilus 73....should arrive within a month or so...can't wait!
One thing that i hate is..sounds are still being cutoff when change to another sounds.not good for playing live...its 2020 and keyboards are still the same...i nnoe only yamaha montange and kronos the sounds wont cutoff during sound changes
Another thing I hated about my former Krome EX,is that 70% of the sounds are garbage.It's just a way overpriced Casio.So glad the Nautilus is coming out early this year...put in a preorder for one...can't wait.
Bullshit...I've owned Korgs for the past 32 years and although the M50 was a nice budget synth for it's time,it does not hold a candle to the Krome EX.The M50 was comprised of only 256MB of PCM data(versus the Krome EX's 4GB of PCM.) Do you honestly think 258MB sounds better than 4GB? You have absolutely no idea how assinine & false your statement is.

Definitely! They should have programmed a sustain sound when transferring to other sounds.
