The bike is looking sick. Purple and green is godly. 🔥 The Brake should work if you trim the cable sleeve/casing back 5-10mm (bolt length) and unscrew the adjustment bolt at the frame. Maybe add some thread locker to stop it winding in.

I went from MTB to bmx not long ago, thought I'd start hitting the skateparks through the winter. It felt weird and sketchy as hell at first, but you get used to it really quick, they are just so twitchy and you learn to use the twitch to your advantage.
Haunts me to this day that he practically quit BMX .. Harry Main was my Dave Mirra .. dedicated my riding to Harry Main everyday I rode in those early days.
