Great review. Clean, direct and informative. Yes, I agree, the Glock 26 is a wonderful gun. Despite the 'haters', the Glock ticks all the boxes for me regards, handling, accuracy and price. Just hold a Glock and it feels like an extension to your arm. So many guns you need to 'adjust your grip'. A Glock fits perfect. The accuracy of a Glock is equal (in my humble opinion) to any gun out there. And the price is mid range. This for me is all you need. There are more prettier guns on the market, I agree, but the Glock 26 (with the Pierce mag) is, for me, the best, most reliable, most comfortable gun on the market today. Just my opinion folks.
The Glock 26 gen4 is a great gun to have its very convenient to carry . But one thing about the 10 round clips . You don't really have to carry the 10 round all the time if you don't want to . You can also fit a 12 15 17 22 24 and up to 33 round . That's the best thing about the gun . Because when I get my Glock 26 gen 4 . I'm buy the 15 round clip for time being and come back for the 24 round later in the future .
I have the Sub compact Glock 26 Gen 4, the compact Glock 19 Gen 4, and the fullsize Glock 17 Gen 4. They are all chambered 9mm, and I love all of them. However if I had to pick between the three I would select the Glock 19. Its grip is good enough to fit the pinky for most, and it holds 15+1. Still easy to conceal too. But I'm not planning on getting rid of any of them. The 17 is probably my favorite and most comfortable to shoot. :)
Glock Guy I have owned all three models as well. I currently carry the 17 g 4 as my service weapon, can’t complain about the 17. It’s simple and gets the job done.
I love my Glock 26 EDC. I run G19 mags with Xgrip extensions, and I threw on a extended beaver tail and put in a match grade barrel. Probably gonna put a new guide rod in and be done. Dont want to do to much changing to a perfectly reliable gun. Dont plan on changing anything major. But its one of my favs no doubt
zerochaos360 I love the G26 but it is not easy to conceal. I do carry it sometimes but IWB is tough. Going with the flat base 10 rd mag helps. But we all love the pinky extension from Peirce which is great but makes it protrude even more. Then we love even more to carry the G19 15rd mag with a spacer but even worse concealment. Oh sure some people will say "I've carried that every day for 3,000 years and it never prints and I always forget I'm carrying it". No comment. You will have to go up a couple of pants sizes and go with a really heavy belt. You can't get away with contemporary fitted golf shirts or business attire, etc. If you can wear really baggy pants and shirt to work, then you can conceal it. You can try 12-3 or 3-6 and will find a position or two that works best for you but even at that, it just does not conceal well. Like many of you, I'm stuck. I love my 26 but have to have use my p938, shield, or 43 to be comfortable going EDC, IWB, and conceal well. Thanks. You can call me Mr. Zerochaos, Daddy, or simply Sir.
zerochaos360 I used to have the same issue, then I bought and good gun belt, and I bought the desantis slim tuk. It allows you to tuck your shirt in while carrying. I usually carry 2-3 o’clock position and it works great!!
I wear a stiff leather belt and appendix carry a 26 with Pearce pinky ext with a Tenicor holster. Around the country, for work in all kinds of attire for work. No issues. The 43 is barely slimmer. You just need a stout belt
I think the 26 is a perfect EDC weapon until it gets super hot and humid at which time I would rather have a 43 with Taran Tactical baseplates and three spare mags. The 26 with two spares is a great EDC loadout with a good flashlight, folder and a blowout kit.
Ew. I almost hit the like button until you said you switch out the 26 for the 43 in the summer. The 26 is king all year round brother!!! Cmon!!! Even with taran you still only get 8 rounds! Buck Wheat how's it going bro. I've put about 200 rounds through it with the extension, haven't had any issues in my experience. Check out my glock 19 shooting vid, at the end of the vid I appendix draw with my g26 and dump the first mag(mag with the pinky extension) with no issues.
Buck Wheat I've put about 1000 rounds through mine, never had a single malfunction. Pmag sells a G26 mag that has the extension already on it. It isn't quite as long as the OE mag with the Pearce extension. Love my 26.
It actually holds 10 rounds of 9mm not 12, unless you have the 12-round magazine. I actually do own the 12 round mag but I don't prefer to carry it because I'm a skinny guy and it takes up more space and kind of pokes the back of chairs a lot when I sit, since I carry strong side. I think the 10 round stock mag is perfect. Good proven caliber, better capacity than a revolver or Shield, easy to shoot for a subcompact pistol, and very reliable and feeds most types of ammunition well. This is a very practical weapon for concealed carry in my opinion.
I read that if you purchase a G26 and add on a mag extention, then you might as well go for the Glock 19. The G26 conceals better without the extention. Besides, these sub compacts are known as belly guns. Close contact with a threat, like 5 to 10 feet.
hey 82 luft, thanks for dropping by. having carried both of the two as a ccw, i would have to say that the Glock 19's slide is a little longer. Compared to the g26, g19's stock mag will stick out of the shirt like a sore thumb when appendix carrying it. hope you liked the video, semper!
Do you wear an IWB with this gun? Does it print much? I have the Shield and it tends to print when I wear my IWB. So, I was just checking to see how yours is working since this Glock's height is lower than the Shields.
Jazzmine Jackson compared to my g19 , the 26 does not print at all, however, i think it would be depending on what you’re wearing (shirt wise) . I appendix carry the g26 iwb, and it is super comfortable , the mag does not stick out (print) on the shirt when I carry it this way.
I was going to trade mine in on the G19 for that reason: full grip and rounds. I already had the G19 magazines for carry/back-up and it finally dawned on me to carry the G26 with the G19 magazine. For the life of me, I don’t understand why I’ve not seen this reconfiguration in a video. Now my thoughts are carry G26 with G19 magazine and carry G17 magazine back-up. I’m inexperienced and look forward to you experienced folks to explain what I’m missing.
Wrong. G26 slide is shorter and with a g19mag and an xgrip the only thing that is like a g19 is the grip length. The glock hump on the g26 frame is what really seperates this from a g19 and makes it a better shooter.
I've carried a gen 4 23 for a year and love it, although I put a gen 4 26 on layaway last week, probably gonna pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait to feel that lightweight no print on my side.
@@glocksNgrippers my favorite glocks are the 27,26,30 because of its size and that you can put bigger mags in them. Or use the mag xgrips I think is the brand that you can put bigger mags and gives that full size grip.
@@troylee5641 exactly! And honestly the combination of the shorter slide on the the g26 and the "hump" on the g26 frame along with the g19 mag with an xgrip fits me perfectly. I actually shoot the g26 better than I do the g19 and the g45 and I love both of those 2 pistols as well.
Jtrich87 what's up bro. The one I have in this video is the Pearce grip model pg-39 which bumps the capacity to an extra two rounds. The pg-26xl model is a little slimmer, but does not alter the capacity.
Nice review. I guess I'm weird, but I shoot better with my pinky off my guns, so I run it like that. Even my subcompact 45 gets shot like that with zero issues (pinky hanging off).
ur shooting more accurate without your pinky because when u just grip with your ring and middle finger your pulling the gun straight back against recoil....adding your pinky into the grip would cause the gun to point downward as u try to combat recoil...i relaxed my pinky and just squeezed with my ring and middle finger and started getting tighter groups at the range...i probably explained this horribly but it really makes sense and ive noticed a huge difference in my accuracy just by relaxing my pinky
Holy sh*t😬... 👇🏼🩹😓 Am I the only one that would think twice (more than twice) before sticking my finger in with the slide pulled back include in showing if there was a round or not in it? In other words, I can’t think of a reason offhand (off-finger, pun intended haha) that I would risk malfunction or human error at the cost of my finger. But then again maybe I just thought he did or it just looked that way to me.
That's copper assembly lube that all Glocks come from the factory with.. It's for where the connector rubs the step in the slide that resets the action
The gun wasn't pointed in a safe direction. Unless you think shooting the box and your table and your floor is a s ate direction. Try a bucket of sand ashore.
Dandre Gardin really? Its used to lock up the gun for safety so it cannot be fired. You pull the slide back and lock it into place then put the cable through to lock it
The newest version of the Glock 26 and a true sub-compact is much better for the concealed carry role. Can you guess? Thats right the Glock 43 is now the best 9mm concealed carry Glock.
The G26 is my favorite EDC as well. I just got my daughter the G43 and I have been breaking in a holster for her and I'm liking the G43 a lot too. check out my channel man...if you like Glocks and want to see some videos on diff upgrades for Glocks.

I know this is an old question, but do you need to upgrade the magazine spring to use the Pierce extension?
Hi,
Based on my recollection, as long as you buy the specific pearce extension for your model, you shouldn’t need to change your mag spring
Thanks!!!
If your going to add a grip extension, just get a model 19.
You'll like the difference!
My favourite models. Glock 19 and 26😍
But, in Russia, we're not allowed to own firearms (
You should come to America brother.
Артём Шипов no, your too busy hiding Hillary Clinton’s email.
Alex Diaz NO!
@@gunsandpipes4266 Nobody asked you, punk ass bitch!
I like the video and planning to buy the 26.
Do you have a link to that clip/extension? All the ones I’ve seen on Amazon say they do not alter the capacity of the mag.
Go to Pearcegrip dot com. And on their page, look for the pg-2733 model. Hope that helps!
I'm a little crazy but at almost the exact same size and the same round count I choose the CZ RAMI over the G26. Funny thing is I now carry a Shield.
I just sold a shield 9mm and bought the G26 lol
The Rami is a superior weapon to the Glock.
👍👍👌 great video
What pinky extension is that? Pearce? if so what model? thanks in advance
I'm proud of my Tokarev 9mm
What is the model number on the Pearce grip?
I love mine
Nice video
👍 can’t wait to shoot the new g26 Gen 5!
lee Radio it's awesome
Sweet!!!
She’s Beautiful 😍😍😍
Glock is the Honda Civic of handguns....
G19x is my fav but this is good for the wife or mother
Don't need your pinky finger on the gun anyways. Learn how to shoot a subcompact if you can't just get a G19 instead. 👌 Nice video bro👍👍
With the extensions it is better than the g19 and the shorter slide enables you to conceal it easier if you arent afraid to appendix carry
03 Fitness is that a regular pierce grip or a xl
Jtrich87 what's up bro. The one I have in this video is the Pearce grip model pg-39 which bumps the capacity to an extra two rounds. The pg-26xl model is a little slimmer, but does not alter the capacity.
bet, nice gun
Just subbed bro
MrSfinn9mm thanks bro, appreciate the sub. Yeah, this is my daily carry as well!
Nice review. I guess I'm weird, but I shoot better with my pinky off my guns, so I run it like that. Even my subcompact 45 gets shot like that with zero issues (pinky hanging off).
Reefer Nanoman lol you're not weird, just your personal preference. Thanks for watching brother
ur shooting more accurate without your pinky because when u just grip with your ring and middle finger your pulling the gun straight back against recoil....adding your pinky into the grip would cause the gun to point downward as u try to combat recoil...i relaxed my pinky and just squeezed with my ring and middle finger and started getting tighter groups at the range...i probably explained this horribly but it really makes sense and ive noticed a huge difference in my accuracy just by relaxing my pinky
how's the reliability?
gutadin5 excellent, haven’t had one malfunction at 1k rounds
I have my g26 as my edc but my baby and my favorite has to be my Beretta 92fs inox thing is jus sexy
Glock 26 gen 4 or Glock 26 gen 5 😅🧟♂️🔥
Holy sh*t😬... 👇🏼🩹😓
Am I the only one that would think twice (more than twice) before sticking my finger in with the slide pulled back include in showing if there was a round or not in it? In other words, I can’t think of a reason offhand (off-finger, pun intended haha) that I would risk malfunction or human error at the cost of my finger.
But then again maybe I just thought he did or it just looked that way to me.
At 1:58 is that rust on the inside of the slide?
That's copper assembly lube that all Glocks come from the factory with.. It's for where the connector rubs the step in the slide that resets the action
G26 w a g19 mag
And a great home defense pistol holding 10 rounds or more considering it will accept 15 round mags.
kelly j or 17 round or 30 round or a drum mag
Sites look good to me... good to go for a gun fight. Yup

The gun wasn't pointed in a safe direction. Unless you think shooting the box and your table and your floor is a s ate direction. Try a bucket of sand ashore.
Jameson Cross cool thanks for the pointer guy

Kyle White it’s the Pearce grip extension model pg-2733
Pearce PG-26G4 shows as the correct unit for the Gen 4 Glock 26

Can somebody tell me wats cable lock for??
Dandre Gardin really? Its used to lock up the gun for safety so it cannot be fired. You pull the slide back and lock it into place then put the cable through to lock it
This video is just like a book that has been Rewritten hundreds of times exactly the same way.

Oh Joe Pee Pee get over yourself🤮
The newest version of the Glock 26 and a true sub-compact is much better for the concealed carry role.
Can you guess? Thats right the Glock 43 is now the best 9mm concealed carry Glock.
Pfft! Yeah right.😂
