Back in the GX era, my brother and I both had VWXYZ and loved the thing because of the anime. We had no understanding of the meta and thought it was coolest thing ever when we could summon it lol
Caleb Kebert just gotta have fun with it. I actually have money to spend on whatever I whant... when the wife doesnt spend it all... plus i can play against my kids... and they somehow beat my once awsome deck... on a plus side you can always just make random theme decks that were once unplayable into slightly more playable decks. When they banned half the cards in my deck it stopped being fun to be honest.
@@phillipmartinez2436 Yeah, it's not really as entertaining, but they still have some awesome decks that are still usable I like. I usually run a Red Dragon Archfiend and a Blue Eyes deck, and they are really fun to use. Except they both require their signature card to use any spells or traps, which kinda slows it down. By themselves, they're really good for busting down the enemy's defenses.
Hey, I wanna see if I can get a lot of subscribers just by asking. Wanna help? Subscribe! that happend with me with a 15000 atk tyranno infinity man i was pissed and to top it off it was a direct attack so i almost won
My favorite experiance in that matter was on the old Yugioh 5ds online. When I somehow stuck Zane Truesdale with his own 26K Dark edge Dragon. (Sadly forgot the exact move, but it was fun)
Pretty similar to my list, but I guess it really can't be done otherwise; better production value on this one as well, I like that you put in replays too. I like this vid a lot more than your last few Top [something]'s, keep it up.
I haven't played YuGiOh since high school (this popped up on my front page for some reason) , but I love how extreme the powercreep seems to have gotten. (Engaging grandpa mode) Back in my day, a plain 3000 atk for 2 tribute was one of the most amazing cards you had! Those last two would have been amazing when the duels were basically "who had the biggest stick?" games. Within a couple years, though, the game evolved a lot more strategy and those kinds of cards just can't cut it anymore.
I think what I love most about Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth is it has to be exactly the 6th turn. If you don't draw it until the 7th, it's too late, the whole setup is wasted. It has to be the most absurd idea they ever had for how to summon a monster.
Oh get over it, I really appreciate what you guys did to pull these off. I think all of us who view this video will hopefully think the same thing. Awesome job!
yeah and i don't like it its really just summon specialsummon ban grave summen pendlum .. and shuffle your deck each turn 3 times and so on its like u only see a full monsterzone with monsters like 77384884937385937287 attk points and assbroken other things they can do with your monsters
+Davinator1212 yeah, you had some ideas I wouldn't have thought of I probably would have tried to exploit that field spell that trades tributes for 1000 points In any case there are plenty of shitty cards lists out there so going to extra mile to try to make them work is appreciated and honestly is the only reason I kept watching because the list itself was predictable. And it turned out to be quite entertaining
VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon isn't even the worst form of it, because it seems that people are forgetting about the even harder version to summon because it requires you to run 1-2 entirely different archetypes alongside it, the dreaded ARMED DRAGON CATAPULT CANNON.
The moth can be summoned sooner by using Pyroclock of Destiny. A normal trap that advances the turn count by 1, but doesn't skip any turns. It also works with Final Countdown, Swords of Revealing Light, Destiny Board, Gold Sarcophagus, and other cards that rely on similar timing.
Blue Eyes Shining Dragon is pretty difficult to summon. You need to offer 1 Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon on your side of the field in order to summon it. And we all know how difficult it is to summon a Fusion Monster. Especially if the Fusion Material Monsters are High Level!
Jackson Mccreery I said Blue Eyes "SHINING" Dragon. NOT B.E.W.D. vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/p__/images/b/b4/Blue-Eyes_Shining_Dragon.png/revision/latest?cb=20140702162258&path-prefix=protagonist
In a good BEWD deck today, fusing Ultimate Blue-Eyes is not that hard anymore. Especially with Hieratics and Maidens with Eyes of Blue, both of which can pull BEWDs from the Deck. Plus there's also Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon which is pretty badass if you need a quick 3000 ATK beater on the field. Is it worth it to fuse Ultimate Blue Eyes? Not really, unless you're going for Shining Blue Eyes. A better fusion would be either Blue Eyes Twin Burst or Neo Ultimate Blue Eyes (yes, that card exists). I personally prefer to use them for Rank 8 Xyz monsters, specifically Galaxy-Eyes.
cameraREDeye Well that's good that Blue Eyes Ultimate is now easier to summon. As for XYZ Monsters, I don't really care for those all that much. Plus, I don't really care all that much for Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. Being as there aren't a lot of Cards in that series that I like. The only ones from Zexal that I like are: Gagaga Magician, Gagaga Girl, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon, Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon, Galaxy Eyes Takiyon Dragon, and some other XYZ Dragon Card I can't remember off the top of my head? It was that Dragon that can't be hit in Battle if there's another Dragon/Monster on the field, and it looks like a white Chinese Dragon, and it's a Number Card(I think)? Kite fought against it in the episode where he fights an old man at what looks like a Chinese temple.
+Nine_Tails137 That would be "Number 46: Dragluon." It's one of the Legendary Ruins Numbers in the anime. My personal favorite Xyz Dragon is "Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon." That thing is HARD to beat in battle without using Honest, and it also has a nice self-revive effect that kicks in when it dies from an opponent's card effect and is applied on your 2nd Standby Phase. Because of that "delayed revive" effect, Misael was unable to stop it with his Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (which had already gotten 1-shot by Prime Photon in a previous turn).
Dark Sage is actually very worth it in my opinion just because I do a ridiculous combo with him. All I need to have to pull off the trick is a Time Wizard and a Dark Magician (which can easily be summoned with Magical Dimension) on the field plus either a monster reborn or a dedication through light and dark in my hand. So first you get time wizard's effect to work. Then you sack Dark Magician for Dark Sage. Then lets say you have monster reborn in your hand, you would then monster reborn Dark Magician. Then with Dark Sage's effect you would get dedication through light and dark from your deck. This card lets you sack Dark Magician for Dark Magician of Black Chaos. His effect lets you get a spell card from the graveyard. You will use this effect to get monster reborn back which lets you get Dark Magician back from the grave. Now you have Dark Magician, Dark Magician of Black Chaos and Dark Sage on the field. If you already have monster reborn and dedication through light and dark in your hand then you can instead use Dark Sage's ability to get something like dark magic attack or sages stone (for the luls). I also have chaos magicians in that deck which are an easy special summon and will complete the field with powerful magicians. This seems like a complicated combo at first but I manage to get it off very frequently with my deck.
I see what you mean. They changed his effect to take place at the end of the turn. I have the IOC-065 Dark Magician of Chaos card. His effect takes place when he is summoned. That is how I'm able to pull off that combo. That sucks that they changed his effect. It must be because people were pulling insane combos like the one I do.
I think the thing to remember about the last 2 - Gate Guardian and Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth - are that they were part of the game before there was actually a game. Big heavy beatsticks were the definition of that very early meta; and coming back in now, I'm having trouble finding my way away from it. Plus, PUGM exists because... Weevil pulled it off, and it was cool - just like the Dark Sage, the Thousand Dragon, etc.
Armityle is kinda possible because if you add some dark summoning beasts you can tribute them to special summon one of the sacred beasts from your hand, deck or graveyard. So it’s probably worth it.
pixelman619 aren't you forgetting something? (While activating Polymerization and/or Power Bond, before Stealth Union even hits the field.) *"FINAL FUSION!!"*
Well, Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union could be special summoned with the effect of Cyber Dragon Nova :| There are better things to get out, but it is a target :D What about Theinen the Great Sphinx? That card is absolutely horrible to get out. At least you can make it a 6500 atk beatstick, so that's a thing I guess.
Even as someone who played the game a lot it was a little hard to follow. it doesn't help that he half explains then throws out some random comments like too broke either.
If you wanna talk sheer summoning conditions (as in not including the pay out), I would consider Shooting Quasar Dragon the hardest to summon. I have only ever naturally summoned it once, all other times was cheesing. The very specific synchro conditions are, for those not already familiar with it, : 2 non-tuner synchro monsters and 1 tuner synchro monster. This means Formula synchron and two other random level fives, Hyper Librarian and probably Junk Warrior. Where this doesn't fin into this list is the pay off; 4000 ATK Beater, can't be destroyed once per turn, once per turn free negation and pop, and can attack twice per battle phase. In addition, if it does somehow manage to get destroyed, instant summon Shooting Star Dragon, and when that gets destroyed, instant summon Stardust Dragon. Huge wall of synchros!
Key_Of_Destiny47 eh....Quasar isn't that hard to summon. There are decks that make multiple Quasars a turn. Even Alintheayoh made an Exodia Quasar deck. lol
Aranethon yeah, quasar is pretty easy, I love using jet warrior now and having stardust warrior on the field with him, but eventually I'll try to make a deck fit with the new rules/link monster summoning
Really not hard to summon at all though. Flip Pyramid, SS Andro and Teleia, Double Cyclone to pop your own Pyramid and one of your opponent's spells/traps, boom. Theinen. Pyramid of Light destroys both Andro Sphinx and Sphinx Teleia at the same time if it's destroyed while they're on the field allowing you to summon Theinen immediately. It's still not worth it, but it's not that hard to do.
Plus you can run Temple of the Kings(unless this is a tournament) to play Pyramid of Light on that turn, summon both Sphinx monsters & destroy Pyramid of Light with MST
sd sd They're remaking all the old structure decks, so we'll probably see a revamped Exodd, just like we've seen revamped Felgrand, Parshath, Super Conductor Tyranno, etc.
Stealth Union is actually pretty good if you summon it using vehicroid connection zone (so it can't be destroyed by traps) and pretty easy to summon with chain material. I made a deck focused on summoning him in ygopro and it did surprisingly well
Mirage Knight??? Fusion summon Flame Swordsman, fuse with Dark Magician to summon Dark Flare Knight (who it's weaker than Dark Magician 😑) then get him destroyed in battle... and you can finally summon Mirage Knight, only for him to be removed from play after one attack.
Juan Partida yep and I still almost bought him instead of dark paladin secret rare version back in the day. 8 dollars for dark paladin or 15 for mirage knight super rare. Still have my dark paladin.
Juan Partida yep and I still almost bought him instead of dark paladin secret rare version back in the day. 8 dollars for dark paladin or 15 for mirage knight super rare. Still have my dark paladin.
i ran armityle in a deck at one point - it was a wierd mishmash of trap-monstersm crystal beasts, and dark world. my group also completely ignores the 60 card deck limit, and i think this ran closer to 80. and usually got stomped because it couldn't keep pace with them. but, when i got them off, i could then play heavy storm or similar and just win. my group also ignores ban lists(we run pot of green, one of the guys ran dragons ravine, i ran future fusion in my crystal beasts to get past only having one pegasus), we just had a gentlemans agreement to not use the cards in the way that got them banned, and still had a couple megabanned cards. what i generally found with armityle, usually you were better off keeping the base 4 on the board, unless your opponent could overpower one of them, and you needed the 10k to punch through. i also found it combined quite nicely with cards that added trample(piercing? big bang shot etc) usually when i play, i play either Elemental heroes or Cyber Dragons(because 6k double strike with big bang shot on turn 1 is rude)
Wesley Molt Boy, look at me, at my username and my profile pic, im the kind of duelist that dont like the actual meta-game and stay playing in traditional format, you know, making your own decks, enjoying the game, so the word "banned" isn't in my dictionary... But still have cards like "Dragon's Mirror" and a field spell card that let you send a dragon from your deck to the graveyard and its cost is discarding a card in the hand...the only disadvantage, you lose the atk bonus cause you need to remove 'em from play
reason not to go into azure: its effect is a trigger. this means it is summoned and everything dies. you have to predict your opponents move or prematurely do it.
Lloyd Ziegfeld Even with that, there are cards like "Ultimate Offering" and "Double summon" Even with "Giant Rat" you can bring'em to the field... Its like with the "Gate guardian" Can be easily summomed with a field spell that allows you to pay life points instead of sacrifices, well...to summon the three you have to pay like 6000 life points...but make it easier... By the way, sorry if something is wrong with my English,is not my language
Great video! This topic is actually pretty relevant for me, because my first deck was a Venom Deck with Venominaga as the boss monster (although I tended to win more with Venom burn and Arcana Force 0 :P ). But while she was a complete ass to summon, at least she was actually good, since it was almost impossible to beat her. But these... I'm reminded of the end of Yugioh4RealMen's Zubaba Gate Guardian video, where he explains that each of the 3 times he actually summoned Gate Guardian, it was immediately destroyed. ^_^
Oh pfft! Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth is the best card in the game that's also a cinch to get out! You can easily stall out the turns now that Swords Of Revealing Light is at 3 and don't forget about Nightmare's Steelcage if need be. Mirror Force is at 3 too. You could also summon Millenium Shield and equip it with Ring Of Magnetism as no one can get through that level of defense. etc... So there's thousands of ways to get it out. When you inevitably do because it'll just happen due to the ease of being able to do it, you can equip it with stuff like Insect Armor With Laser Cannon to really ramp up it's attack then combine it with Fairy Meteor Crush for the ultimate defense penetrating monster. You could just keep your moth in defense to stall out the game until the opponent runs out of cards too as no one's getting through 3000def just as they couldn't get through 2500def Millenuim Shield. Since it's an effect monster, you could also burn your opponent with Ceasefire while also disabling their flip effect monsters. . . . . . . ... and if you didn't know I was joking, I feel bad for you, lol!
PkGam LOL. BUT If you're running an insect deck you could have Multiplication of Ants to get some decoy tokens on the field & Staunch Defender to use those tokens as shields to protect Petit Moth. Well that's all I got.
There is an other way to summon VWXYZ - Dragon Catapult Cannon , just use "Tag-Fusion" on a random monster on your field than you can use VWXYZ - Dragon Catapult Cannon. 😁😁😁
Rektenon i mean honestly i dodnt think the intro was that bad, its more creatice than the dumb still image with music in the background intros that every other person used on youtube.
You can also use "cacoon of superior evolution" it's like "cacoon of evolution" but superior evolution allows you to make the turns halved...like great moth that takes 4 turns but superior evolution makes it into 2 turns.
ChaosGallade i know but you have to have 2 of those,1 oxygeddon, and bonding h20 all at once...its a 4 card combo(3 of those cards have to be on the field and you have to pray that bonding h20 doesn’t get negated)for a monster with a whopping 2800 attack monster with a effect that is super situational at best. Although its other effect might be good, because you get all three of the monsters back so you can get a rank 4 xyz summon
One thing about Armatyle. It is actually quite easy to play in D/D/D, not to say it's a great idea but my early build ran it well. With Contract with the witch he still has attack points on opponent's turn and is a great way to get rid of unwanted monsters of back row.
I always thought that the best way to summon Armityle was using a Crystal Beast deck that also ran DNA Surgery. Crystal Beasts make summon Hamon easy, then using DNA Surgery they can all become fiends. Depending on how many Crystal Beasts you have in the back row, they can be very easy to swarm and get at least three in the monster zones to summon Raviel. The only problem is Uria, but at least you got a head start with DNA Surgery already out. Though another option would be Phantom of Chaos or Prisma, like you said.
Scourge Darkpaw Permanently boosts itself for 1000 attack for every crystal beast you send from the field to the grave (including one's in the trap row) or it can banish all crystal beasts in the grave to shuffle all cards on the field into the deck. However, you cannot active either of these effects on the turn it's summoned. limiting their usefulness. It's my favorite card, making it aggravating how close it is to being viable.
back when DN was a thing, i think i had an Armityle deck. i can't look at it now, but i believe i had such cards that had the effect of "this card's name is treated as Hamon" or something, which made it possible to get Armityle out more easily
Jet X BESD is power creep roadkill imho. By the time we got the cards to summon it efficiently and reliably (mainly in SHIV), it was horribly outclassed by Neo-BEUD and Kaiju food instead of invincible.
I quit yugioh a while ago, got tired of the power creep and having to learn the new things they kept adding, also I wasn't good at it to begin with so it was basically just a waste of time and money.
I played back when Yugioh first came out and this just looks ridiculous, the amount of plays you make it one turn is just way too high. I think if I ever go back to playing a tcg it will be Magic, since that doesn't seem to have such absurd gameplay changes.
Najja Mallace Thats roughly when I was playing it, remember when equip cards were put behind a monster so you could basically have infinite amounts equipped to it?
Right? Im saw a couple random yugioh vids because of HS reddit and there is a combo where you can literally first turn kill someone now. It crazy the power creep this game has, they need to increase life or something because 6k hp doesnt seem like much with what cards can do now
well just play with the ones you like. i only duel people who do not use any cards after yugioh gx. After that everything was lame, syncho and all this bullshit. i like the old school
for number 7 they can now be played with abit more ease if you have 3 fallen paradise cards that can help you draw 2 cards and 3 dark summoning beasts which have the effect to summon any of the free lords reguardless of there effect
Davinator1212 I have so many ideas but this is my first time at ur channel but u could do a top 5 deck that are very good but are hated like Nobel knight and artefacts
spirit of the pharoah can be used to xyz summon , tribute summon , or ritual summon because of his effect so he has a lot of potential but you could just use venus
Ever had luck pulling a 1st edition when it first came out? Try finding one almost 15 years later that hasn't been chewed on by the neighbors dog. lol But seriously, Gate Guardian is just a nice slot in someone's collection binder. I'm actually on the lookout for Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth just because its a shitty card but excellent collectors classic.
Hey Dave here's a fun fact. I got a copy of Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links before I got Cocoon Of Evolution. So even if I wanted to experiment with using it in Weevil's deck right now. I can't because I don't have one of the monsters required to summon it.
I bet youre also thinking about the hours you spent to edit and contact people to create this.... -pats back-.. , but seriously keep up the good work ^_^
i like the Pharaoh concept ( and all of its artworks including Sarcophagus cards, they really intimidating to newbie opponents) but if its minion summon effect changed to any Zombie summons regardless LVL, vanilla/effect or ATK/DEF limit, that would be cool
i...dont..understand. i have been away from Yu-Gi-Oh too long, i thought it was a nice video, but the duels, i didnt get any of it. i remember when getting 3 2-3 star monster on the field in one turn was amazing, using like giant rat and some warriors that let you tutor other warriors, but now....omg...what?
I did synchro a little with star dust dragon and junk warrior. And saw a small bit on xyz, had the basic starter dexk and had that warrior deck use them, lotta level 4 ones
One list that would be fun is a list of special win conditions from best to worst. I think the worst has to be Venominaga the diety of poisonous snakes. I played a game in which I had to win with her effect and that was next to impossible. I picked the lowest ranked opponent which was almost no obstacle at all and I had to fill my decks with things like love letter and upstart Goblin to boost my opponents life points to the top that he could take 3 attacks from Venominaga. I had to do many things including win with Armytile but Venominaga was by far the hardest (I didn't have access to Hero Prisma so I had to actually summon all 3 of them).
Im getting into hearthstone so I kinda see where you are coming from. Yeah maybe they did make it more balanced, but the problem with those newschool games is that they leave little space for creativity, you are suposed to play fixed stategies with fixed decks.
One big thing I'm curious about: where was black metal dragon? It requires itself to be in your deck (not your hand) to be used and needs a vanilla red eyes equipped with metalmorph. and because it has no effect other than how to summon it, in every way leaving red eyes equipped with metalmorph would have been better due to the attack gain effect. One of my favorites yet argueably one of the worst monsters in the game.
I actually have an Armityle deck, which wins with him more than you'd expect. It does however, involve about 10 turns of being beaten up before you summon him.
I mean for Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union you can use Vehicroid Connection Zone + Chain Material. Connection Zone protects the fusion so it doesn't die. It isn't really difficult to summon at all...
dragon catapult - the closest i have gotten is elemental hero shining flare wingman. the difference here is where the catapult is just an inconvenience to the defender, shining flare is BRUTAL and requires you to be ready to deal with him. in the average duel with my friends, i would have 8-10 heroes in my graveyard, meaning he would be around 6000 and could trade blows with pretty much any deck my friends played. i also had ways to fusion him with fallen heroes (forgot the cards name, its been a while), so even killing all 3 sparkmen, burstinatrix and avian, or my flame wingman, they couldn't be sure they were safe. here, it seems like alot of effort to go through, for a weak-ish result. i think my spellcaster deck might run into an issue against that if it went off, but i doubt it
Just saying that VWXYZ Catapult Dragon can be cheesed by two Fusion tags (A spell which can change a monster's name to a Fusion monster's name.) Just use one Fusion tag on one monster to change it's name to VW, and use the other Tag to change another to XYZ. Btw you also need Polymization if you cheese this way. Alternatively, get to
I've got a First Edition Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, but its wording made it more powerful than it is now. First Edition does not state it can ONLY be summoned with Petite Moth and Cocoon, so it could be played as a Two-Tribute Monster. Of course the rulings on it changed and it was reprinted...
I really love this video. Tell me, did you make the decks yourselves, or did you just netdeck something random for them? If it is the prior, I am touched by the dedication of all the guys making the replays for the decks.
My only suggestion would have been to use cards that had only been released up to that point. That way the cards could show how difficult they are relative to the sets they came out in. No one was pendulum summoning gate guardian in 2003 lol
ultimate great moth - i have to admit i had issues with this card at one point - in one of the old handheld yugioh games, weevil would pull it, and since field cards were percentile, and you were AUTOMATICALLY in the forest, the defense was high, and he protected it like hell, and the moth then had upwards of 4000 attack, something the player can only match with cards aquired near the end of the game while Yami is active. so i had to tech in elements, because the game also had one other bit - if your cards element is countered, REGARDLESS OF ATK/DEF, it lost the fight. so fire beats life(or whatever insects were in that game, they added a few wedges to the element wheel),water > fire > wood > wind > water so i teched in fire, a few wood creatures, and a couple heavy hitters that were in the other wheel(dark, fiend(yes, they separated those) light, dream, which had the rotation of dream>dark>light>fiend>dream). to be honest though, its highly possible they changed how that worked because the game wasn't very advanced, and often glazed over monster effects(IE magician of faith was vanilla, monster reborn could only target the most recently destroyed monster in the target graveyard) i remember earth and thunder came in somewhere as well, but i dont remember, nor do i remember where the gameboy charger cable ended up.
Would the Pyro Clock of Destiny, and potentially multiple of them, be somewhat viable in helping summon Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth to try and make it slightly more useful since you would at least get it on the field faster?
This is honestly my personal favorite list that you've done Dave. If nothing else than you including footage of showing each monster being played that you got help for this. But I've got one disagreement on Super Vehicroid Stealth Union. Because unlike VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon you can use Power Bond on it. Sure it doesn't mean that it halving its own attack is good but it at least has a work around. Does that make it not worth it? Hell no. Also find it insulting that Fushioh Richie recently got added to Duel Links.
What about Malevich truth dragon its close sorta it has 5k on Atkins and def and can't be summoned by any way except by its effect its effect: cannot be normal summoned/set. Must be special summoned by its own effect, and cannot be special summoned by other ways. If a " Malefic" monster you control, except" Malefic Truth Dragon", is destroyed by battle or by card effect: you can pay half your life points; Special summon this card from your hand or graveyard. There can only be one "malefic" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle. Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls. So basically destroy the field spell or use an spell or trap to destroy. Also the opponents deck is basically ruined when this is on the field since he won't be able to summon another malefic monster
12:06 I remembers Jaden facing shadow guy in the dub that used that monster and he's like. "So you did all that for that one monster......I mean it's uh *cough cough* okay"
Back in the GX era, my brother and I both had VWXYZ and loved the thing because of the anime. We had no understanding of the meta and thought it was coolest thing ever when we could summon it lol
Hows your legacy of the duelist playthrough man
"Welcome to the Salty Spitoon. How tough are ya?"
"I summoned gate guardian once."
"Yeah, So?"
"IN ONLINE DUEL LINKS"
"Uhhhh right this way"
Bahaha!!!
With or without the skill
Back in elementary school, I ran a Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth deck. Oh to be that young and naïve again back when Yugioh was a much simpler game.
I hear ya. Now we got these freaking raidraptors, cyberse, and others. It makes my head spin, and I never gone up pass using Synchro monsters.
@@lordofkebs1714 I still have my old Armed Dragon deck from way back in the day.
I summoned Armityle once. My opponent used Magic Cylinder...
*Pats back* Must have been a real, rough shock.
LOL he carved your beat-stick into a boomerang 😂 that's glorious
Ouch!
I love you, Rank10-senpai.
How ever, he forgot to include the the single hardest monster to summon : the fusion of ojama Lime and the one whose shape was snatched
Bro come on man stop saying so broke
Gotta channel the inner MegaCapitalG
I haven't played YuGiOh since high school (this popped up on my front page for some reason) , but I love how extreme the powercreep seems to have gotten. (Engaging grandpa mode) Back in my day, a plain 3000 atk for 2 tribute was one of the most amazing cards you had! Those last two would have been amazing when the duels were basically "who had the biggest stick?" games. Within a couple years, though, the game evolved a lot more strategy and those kinds of cards just can't cut it anymore.
what strategy? not it's basically play 1 card and special summon til you win.
A 3000 ATK monster that costs 2 tributes was never worth it.
the game nowadays is pretty much 100% strategy with all the combos you can create
its all about swarming now
+Oligoden: it is solitaire for someone who doesn't know anything about card games
I think what I love most about Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth is it has to be exactly the 6th turn. If you don't draw it until the 7th, it's too late, the whole setup is wasted. It has to be the most absurd idea they ever had for how to summon a monster.
I will forever hate you for making me do those damn replays. I lost about 10 years off my life expectancy , you scrub :P
Oh get over it, I really appreciate what you guys did to pull these off. I think all of us who view this video will hopefully think the same thing. Awesome job!
I think that he was kidding o3o
+ScreenCasterZ
Hahahaha...don't lie, you enjoyed it. You masochist. ;)
+Chibi Prussia oh I know he was
Lol and you watch Futa porn. XD
Is it me or is YuGiOh became so ridiculously fast and stupidly easy to summon powerful things.
Ak4tsuki-kun it's not just you
hoooray for pendulums
yeah and i don't like it its really just summon specialsummon ban grave summen pendlum .. and shuffle your deck each turn 3 times and so on its like u only see a full monsterzone with monsters like 77384884937385937287 attk points and assbroken other things they can do with your monsters
Link summon is the brake to slow the game some what.
nah, stop acting as if this wasn't a thing ever since TELE DAD days lol
The amount you say so broke single handedly made me not want to watch this video halfway through.
I like that you included clips of these things being summoned rather than just rattling off a bunch of shitty cards.
I'm glad someone appreciates the countless attempts to pull these summons off :P lol
+Davinator1212 yeah, you had some ideas I wouldn't have thought of
I probably would have tried to exploit that field spell that trades tributes for 1000 points
In any case there are plenty of shitty cards lists out there so going to extra mile to try to make them work is appreciated and honestly is the only reason I kept watching because the list itself was predictable. And it turned out to be quite entertaining
Anyone else think VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Canon looks like a Power Rangers Megazord?
So I wasn't the only one who noticed that.
... i think that was the point either that or they stole the idea from the roids
I think its more of gundam joke
VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon isn't even the worst form of it, because it seems that people are forgetting about the even harder version to summon because it requires you to run 1-2 entirely different archetypes alongside it, the dreaded ARMED DRAGON CATAPULT CANNON.
Napple Snapple Its a newer card, so its not forgotten, just not well known enough yet.
This guy literally says "woot!" "ohh" "so broke!" every replay.
Davinator1212 XD omg "subscribe
Probably your best video!
Yeah, but those backgrounds are so gay
armityle zerozerock OP combo
Blue Eyes Shining Dragon is pretty difficult to summon.
You need to offer 1 Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon on your side of the field in order to summon it. And we all know how difficult it is to summon a Fusion Monster. Especially if the Fusion Material Monsters are High Level!
Bewd is easy enough to cheat up, though. And dragon's mirror exists, so even if they get wrecked, its simple enough
Jackson Mccreery
I said Blue Eyes "SHINING" Dragon.
I personally prefer to use them for Rank 8 Xyz monsters, specifically Galaxy-Eyes.
cameraREDeye
Well that's good that Blue Eyes Ultimate is now easier to summon.
As for XYZ Monsters, I don't really care for those all that much. Plus, I don't really care all that much for Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. Being as there aren't a lot of Cards in that series that I like.
The only ones from Zexal that I like are:
Gagaga Magician, Gagaga Girl, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon, Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon, Galaxy Eyes Takiyon Dragon, and some other XYZ Dragon Card I can't remember off the top of my head?
"Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth!" That's one of the most powerful cards in all of duel monsters!
Nice! Oh, and may I ask what does "lul" mean?
Erik Liu oh lol, must have been a typo I missed. I meant to say for the lols.
Okay.
I see what you mean. They changed his effect to take place at the end of the turn. I have the IOC-065 Dark Magician of Chaos card. His effect takes place when he is summoned. That is how I'm able to pull off that combo. That sucks that they changed his effect. It must be because people were pulling insane combos like the one I do.
that intro...... makes me cringeeee
Davinator1212 I see xD
Didn't realise due to it being in my reccomended
how did you play yu-gi-oh on the computer or whatever your playing yu-gi-oh on
john michael lmao the solemn strike
He as a whole equals cringe lol
Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth?! That's one of the most powerful cards in all of Duel Monsters!
I can just try to summon the Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth by using the Cocoon Of Ultra Evolution card
I remember when you were at 26 subs and you posted on Wuphlez channel to get subs... :) GOOD JOB ON OVER 4,000 SUBS BRO!
Look at wuphlez now... Rip
I have NO idea what is going on, I zoned out after GX
The Hasty Slowpoke ME! XD
Armityle is kinda possible because if you add some dark summoning beasts you can tribute them to special summon one of the sacred beasts from your hand, deck or graveyard. So it’s probably worth it.
say what you want about Stealth Union, but if you can summon GaoGaiGar, *Summon GaoGaiGar!!*
So it really IS GaoGaiGar!! I *knew* I wasn't going crazy!
to bad he effect isnt that good should be alot better but that moment when u actually summon him u just have to yell GAO GAI GAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pixelman619 aren't you forgetting something?
(While activating Polymerization and/or Power Bond, before Stealth Union even hits the field.)
*"FINAL FUSION!!"*
Robbie Norris how could I forget that. I'm not worthy!!!!!!!! *gets hit with hell heaven hand*
pixelman619 ... i'm lost. Help.
Well, Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union could be special summoned with the effect of Cyber Dragon Nova :| There are better things to get out, but it is a target :D What about Theinen the Great Sphinx? That card is absolutely horrible to get out. At least you can make it a 6500 atk beatstick, so that's a thing I guess.
as a non yu-gi-oh player. this is quite hard to understand, let alone watch the matches being played.
I managed alright.
Even as someone who played the game a lot it was a little hard to follow. it doesn't help that he half explains then throws out some random comments like too broke either.
Viktor Vikeyev yugioh is THE hardest children's card game ever
try playing Vanguard.
i have no idea.
i hvnt played in about a year o.o;
sorry sir ya goto look that up for yourself ^^
Key_Of_Destiny47
eh....Quasar isn't that hard to summon. There are decks that make multiple Quasars a turn. Even Alintheayoh made an Exodia Quasar deck. lol
Aranethon Felgrand Quasar is an awesome build
Aranethon yeah, quasar is pretty easy, I love using jet warrior now and having stardust warrior on the field with him, but eventually I'll try to make a deck fit with the new rules/link monster summoning
Aranethon also most of the time after summoning them, I'm still left with at least 3-4 cards in my hand and maybe 1-2 face downs to back quasar up
the great sphinx should have been in here.
Wouldn't Jinzo destroy Pyramid of Light by appearing, summoning Thenien easier? still, 3500 ATK wasn't anything to scoff at back in the day.
Plus you can run Temple of the Kings(unless this is a tournament) to play Pyramid of Light on that turn, summon both Sphinx monsters & destroy Pyramid of Light with MST
Crawlers would've become a burn deck if Exxod was easier to bring out
sd sd They're remaking all the old structure decks, so we'll probably see a revamped Exodd, just like we've seen revamped Felgrand, Parshath, Super Conductor Tyranno, etc.
What do you think of Dragon Master Soldier and Blue Eyes Shining?
I personally pull off blue eyes shining all the time, but I have a fusion deck built just for that end.
Two words
"Future Fusion"
+Seto Kaiba Which is currently banned, unfortunately. By the way, it was your use of it that inspired me to get it.
Wesley Molt dragon master knight is easy
reason not to go into azure: its effect is a trigger. this means it is summoned and everything dies. you have to predict your opponents move or prematurely do it.
very surprised valkyrion the magna warrior wasn't on this list.
Its not hard to summon
You can do it with the magnet warriors in your hand
+Seto Kaiba I thought they had to be on the field.
Lloyd Ziegfeld Even with that, there are cards like "Ultimate Offering" and "Double summon"
Even with "Giant Rat" you can bring'em to the field...
Its like with the "Gate guardian"
Can be easily summomed with a field spell that allows you to pay life points instead of sacrifices, well...to summon the three you have to pay like 6000 life points...but make it easier...
By the way, sorry if something is wrong with my English,is not my language
+Seto Kaiba it's okay. I've seen worse English written, and heard worse spoken.
Since it's an effect monster, you could also burn your opponent with Ceasefire while also disabling their flip effect monsters.

... and if you didn't know I was joking, I feel bad for you, lol!
PkGam hahaha.... I've seen some comments that sound exactly the same that weren't joking...... :P
Doh!
PkGam LOL. BUT If you're running an insect deck you could have Multiplication of Ants to get some decoy tokens on the field & Staunch Defender to use those tokens as shields to protect Petit Moth. Well that's all I got.
All we need is a insect that lets you equip an insect from your hand to it to make it gain the equipped insect's original atk
all I'd need is windstorm of etaqua (idk if I spelled that right) and tragedy. there goes any card that's not protected by effects.
There is an other way to summon VWXYZ - Dragon Catapult Cannon , just use "Tag-Fusion" on a random monster on your field than you can use VWXYZ - Dragon Catapult Cannon. 😁😁😁
Omg that Intro is sad
You dont look ANYTHING like your Avatar man
Rektenon i mean honestly i dodnt think the intro was that bad, its more creatice than the dumb still image with music in the background intros that every other person used on youtube.
It honestly looks him though? The intro is low budget and nerdy (obvi) but it’s him alright
You can also use "cacoon of superior evolution" it's like "cacoon of evolution" but superior evolution allows you to make the turns halved...like great moth that takes 4 turns but superior evolution makes it into 2 turns.
Let me sum up the video, get schrekt, too broken, this is a beatstick.
+Davinator1212
Yep, even mine.
Love these top vids, keep it up the great job!
Just my opinion but Why isn't water dragon on this list?!
Hydrogeddon can search out copies of itself.
VWXYZ and Armityle are redundant. Their materials have enough tools to win you the game.
Great video as always :)
What about a top 8 video on archetypes you think desperately need support?
still want to know what you're using to demonstrate these...no one ever answers me
Devpro. There is a link in the description. :)
Though another option would be Phantom of Chaos or Prisma, like you said.
rainbow dragon is a hard monster to summon
But at least it has an effect and support cards.
Whats it do
Scourge Darkpaw
Permanently boosts itself for 1000 attack for every crystal beast you send from the field to the grave (including one's in the trap row) or it can banish all crystal beasts in the grave to shuffle all cards on the field into the deck.
However, you cannot active either of these effects on the turn it's summoned. limiting their usefulness.
It's my favorite card, making it aggravating how close it is to being viable.
Plus if the dragon is distroyed you can summon it back
Scourge Darkpaw
You can? How?
That One Card Short playing in the background. I salute you.
No he used the canons effect to kill the pendulum card
back when DN was a thing, i think i had an Armityle deck. i can't look at it now, but i believe i had such cards that had the effect of "this card's name is treated as Hamon" or something, which made it possible to get Armityle out more easily
Take a shot everytime he says "Ohhh so broke"
Drill Knight76
I think you would get more drunk if you took a shot every time someone suggested this drinking game.....
Aranethon But would that be too drunk?
Excuse me, I need to go to the hospital, I believe I have alcohol poisoning.
I really like how you guys showed replays along with the list, very cool Burger Boy
That's actually Dave's porno name.
+ScreenCasterZ xD #Confirmed
This was nice to watch, but the "too broke" was so annoying
oh my god i havent seen you in awhile and forgot your youtuber name. i saw davinator when he made the colecanth deck ! auto sub !
Blue eyes shining dragon is a 50/50. It might be worth it but depending on the other players deck it could get recked
Jet X BESD is power creep roadkill imho.
By the time we got the cards to summon it efficiently and reliably (mainly in SHIV), it was horribly outclassed by Neo-BEUD and Kaiju food instead of invincible.
A bunch of these I use with 'send to graveyard' effects and various resurrection effects. Give us pretty good ATK beasts for very little effort.
Najja Mallace
Thats roughly when I was playing it, remember when equip cards were put behind a monster so you could basically have infinite amounts equipped to it?
Yu-Gi-Oh standard play is the legacy of Magic, it's crazy
for number 7 they can now be played with abit more ease if you have 3 fallen paradise cards that can help you draw 2 cards and 3 dark summoning beasts which have the effect to summon any of the free lords reguardless of there effect
cringy
Davinator1212 I'll subscribe to you if you shout me out
Davinator1212 I have so many ideas but this is my first time at ur channel
but u could do a top 5 deck that are very good but are hated like Nobel knight and artefacts
Davinator1212 * subrsribed *
even tho this is the first of your vids I ever watched and honestly it was great m8
keep up the great work
Davinator1212 I am big fan of artfakes and Nobel knight
***** no I mean dead types of deck but are surprisingly good again Nobel knight and artefacts
spirit of the pharoah can be used to xyz summon , tribute summon , or ritual summon because of his effect so he has a lot of potential but you could just use venus
speaking of Gate Guardian, why is it $30 from metal raiders!
Zubaba General made him see play recently since Gate Guardian has a really high attack.
That and its a collector card.
Oh okay thanks.
aw fuck, really? That's awesome! I love it when old, useless cards find a use
It's a pretty uncommon card too
Ever had luck pulling a 1st edition when it first came out?
Bet this guy got bullied a lot in high school
.............r............e...............a................l............. .......s.............h........i..........t.......
Love the new replays :D
Wish you would keep them in your future top tens. Or see the other monsters in action for how good/bad they are
I bet youre also thinking about the hours you spent to edit and contact people to create this.... -pats back-..
, but seriously keep up the good work ^_^
The intro is kinda cringey
i like the Pharaoh concept ( and all of its artworks including Sarcophagus cards, they really intimidating to newbie opponents) but if its minion summon effect changed to any Zombie summons regardless LVL, vanilla/effect or ATK/DEF limit, that would be cool
i...dont..understand. i have been away from Yu-Gi-Oh too long, i thought it was a nice video, but the duels, i didnt get any of it. i remember when getting 3 2-3 star monster on the field in one turn was amazing, using like giant rat and some warriors that let you tutor other warriors, but now....omg...what?
I did synchro a little with star dust dragon and junk warrior. And saw a small bit on xyz, had the basic starter dexk and had that warrior deck use them, lotta level 4 ones
It's about to get even more confusing. Introducing Link Summoning.
Getting a bunch of Level 2-3 monsters was never impressive.
Newschool YUGIOH looks terrible.
Adapt or leave
have left already.
Let's be honest... Yu-gi-oh is the most broken battle card game there is.
But It is fun to play(mostly with friends with no Zoo allowed)
I have had infinitely more fun with Yugioh than I have with other games like Hearthstone or any others I've tried
I actually have an Armityle deck, which wins with him more than you'd expect. It does however, involve about 10 turns of being beaten up before you summon him.
Dude really. You sound like a bad meme guy from school who tries too hard when you say Shrekd and too broke. I respect the videos, but come on man.
Dave, I love how ppl take you seriously.....
I mean for Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union you can use Vehicroid Connection Zone + Chain Material. Connection Zone protects the fusion so it doesn't die. It isn't really difficult to summon at all...
slow down that intro mate, you slur worse than an Irishman who's down ten shots at 3am
2:26 Dark Summoning Beast is being printed and its effect is good, allowing easy summoning of the Beasts..
Are you having a seizure?
haha thats what i thaught too
wow wow wow. Is there a link to that deck the Sage card played against? that was a seriously impressive setup.
dragon catapult - the closest i have gotten is elemental hero shining flare wingman. the difference here is where the catapult is just an inconvenience to the defender, shining flare is BRUTAL and requires you to be ready to deal with him. in the average duel with my friends, i would have 8-10 heroes in my graveyard, meaning he would be around 6000 and could trade blows with pretty much any deck my friends played. i also had ways to fusion him with fallen heroes (forgot the cards name, its been a while), so even killing all 3 sparkmen, burstinatrix and avian, or my flame wingman, they couldn't be sure they were safe. here, it seems like alot of effort to go through, for a weak-ish result. i think my spellcaster deck might run into an issue against that if it went off, but i doubt it
Just saying that VWXYZ Catapult Dragon can be cheesed by two Fusion tags (A spell which can change a monster's name to a Fusion monster's name.) Just use one Fusion tag on one monster to change it's name to VW, and use the other Tag to change another to XYZ.
What are you using to play during this vid, been looking for a yugioh online game for a while
I really love this video. Tell me, did you make the decks yourselves, or did you just netdeck something random for them? If it is the prior, I am touched by the dedication of all the guys making the replays for the decks.
Kudos to you then! :D
Yeah none of mine were net decked either. The Armityle was the closest but that one kinda builds itself.
Mine were literally just the cards needed to summon my boss monster and all mirror forces, floodgates, and solemn cards.
So yeah...he netdecked
WHAT. I didn't net deck lol
What is that theme song? It just sounds like a warped version of pimpnite's, but is it something public domain?
4:45 is even harder now thanks to link monsters, now you have to have a link monster out in order to bring it out
Drink 1 for every "so broke." Drink 2 for every "shrekt".
you've also grown alot good job man !
Also the opponents deck is basically ruined when this is on the field since he won't be able to summon another malefic monster
with the vwxyz one, I mixed it in with some cyber dragon support, and it's not bad
12:06 I remembers Jaden facing shadow guy in the dub that used that monster and he's like. "So you did all that for that one monster......I mean it's uh *cough cough* okay"
I actually managed to make a pretty consistent VWXYZ deck and with the new support plus Cyber Eltanin it's actually very easy to play.
I watched a few videos from you but Ima finally sub(:
