This song reminds me so much of one of my cousins. Grew up with drug head parents that barely raised him because they were too busy getting hooked on drugs and missing his childhood. Now he’s hooked on them. Such a smart and talented kid too….

First time hearing this band but bloody hell, I'm blown away.

What could anyone possibly say to this song--especially its final thirty seconds? This hits harder than all of the death or black metal I own, combined. This is so powerful, so raw, that I can feel Rory's final scream chilling my blood and raising every hair along my limbs.

Good Lord, Rory's lyrics are so heavy man. What makes them all that much more harsh and heartwrenching is that its like pure hatred towards not just any person but his own mother:/

ever since Rory liked my instagram post (i t was about the album orgin) I respect this band a while lot more....because not many bands or band members would actually interact with their fans and like their things they post...but this band does....You made my year by liking my post Rory, and i thank you.
I just recently came across them a couple of months ago. Not sure how I missed them. And what you said makes me like them even more. You're right, not many bands actually interact with their fans like that. I can only name 3 from personal experience, and that's Cold, The Veer Union and No Resolve.

I would rather watch this type of video over those over-priced concept videos. This is about his mom and how her choices in life separated them from each other. This video is raw in form and emotion. Give me a video with the band over actors/models 100% of the time. Dayseeker is a great band, very grounded.
