I just found out that this and The Nail in Our Coffin is connected.. but I'm a little confused reading the lyrics for both songs.. on "the Nail in our coffin" Rory sings about a girl with proof of "envisioning him sliding off your shirt" but in "The Burning of Bridges" he sings "I'm not a man who's worth your trust, I'm a cheat giving into lust" am I missing something?? Hope someone can help me! Thanks!!

I have the physical copy of Orign and i think its about the mother leaving his child alone to go with a "traitor" of a man and the quote you mentions refers to the mother having sex with the man envisioned in the lyrics betraying his trust but im no expert
