Alright everyone, time to get informed. I assume there are a lot of new fans watching this so I hope this helps. This is off of the album Two Faced Charade. In the story the protagonist falls in love with his neighbor, Elise. She unfortunately has a boyfriend. So the protagonist is devastated and starts hearing voices in his head telling him "you have to get her back" The protagonist kills her boyfriend and cuts him into pieces. She eventually finds out and calls the protagonist a monster. Heartbroken and angry the protagonist kills Elise in rage. Immediately regretting the decision he kills himself. Hope this helped. Buy the album it's amazing!

JT is still the lead singer! He alternates between FLW and his own act Postscript. FLW are still going but I think JT is doing something with Postscript atm.

The way this song brings together the entire album, particularly at the end when all the different choruses are woven together, is simply impressive. This is my favorite concept album and while the accompanying short film won't be winning any Oscars it brings the story into focus and gives it perspective. Love the song, love the band, love the video.

I cant stress enough how amazing this band is. I remember back when they first really started getting a good foot in the music scene I never really listened to them. No particular reason why, they were the genre I was into and everything, just didn't. few years ago they opened for a band I was seeing. The entire band got caught at the border and couldn't make it through except the singer (and I think a buddy that helped fill in or something,) and he still put on a full set. He borrowed a guitar from another band, found a tambourine in the back of the venue, and put on a full acoustic set despite having every reason to back out of the show. Absolutely amazing showmanship. Later that year I saw one of my favourite bands. Singer was high as a kite and didn't sing even one entire song. Made me really appreciate what this singer did when he was put in a less than ideal situation. Got to talk to him too, cool dude. By far one of the most memorable concerts I've been too.

Oh man this song brings me so many fond memories of my teenage years😅I remember having this song on repeat everyday, got the dvd when the short film was released and freaking out over the lead singer responding to me back and thanking me for purchasing it. I still have a tshirt that came with the bundle. And this song even made my cousin who's never been into alternative music loving it till this day.

I (well my mom bought for me, I asked her too) bought a T shirt and poster from his website (its a 1 man band now) the shirt came but not the poster. I asked her if she could message him about the missing poster, he responded and said he will send another one. I gotten excited because I never knew how nice he was to send another one, since it was lost in the mail! I got my poster, and he still has my respect! (Creature feature btw)

My dad and I were in the car. He asked Siri for “Famous Last Words” with the intention of playing MCR. It gave this song instead. We got curious and stayed to hear what it was. 3 sentences in, we exchanged a look with our jaws dropped. 48 seconds in my dad yelled “HOLY SH-“ and I was squealing and clapping. Long story short, we listened to the entire album, my dad is planning on buying a record, I was unable to sit still from pure excitement, and as soon as we got home we went to go bother my mother and make her listen to this song.
9 years later and this song is still Prefect, I see and hear absolutely 0 flaws.

idk if its the same for you, but ive found if you right click on the video youll get a set of options and one of them is called 'loop' and itll loop the song for you. like i said, idk if its the same for you, but i have one rca tablet with the keyboard extension. so idk. but if i AM correct, then im glad i helped ^-^

Been a fan since a long time, so I just want to point out something interesting in case someone miss it. I really love the lyrics when 2:52 He changed it from "You know I did this all for you and me" to You know I did this all JUST FOR ME!" It's a simple yet juicy description of his personality.
