Good lord this comment section is clearly full of people who came directly from Thrice's video. Please actually take the time to listen to other Dayseeker songs before you say they didn't add their own style/flair to it. A cover is not supposed to be exactly the same. They covered the song in the style of music that they themselves create. They have created countless songs full of emotion and power, they are truly an amazing band. But it's so easy to tell that the people who are criticizing have not ever listened to Dayseeker before.
I miss Thrice, they teach my soul how to believe.

I seen you guys with my wife in Denver last month. You guys were very good. Thrice is my favorite band and I want to say thanks for this amazing cover. Keep playing my brother, you have not forgotten the face of your father and you are doing him proud with the music you give to others.

Just heard this band, and I'm a HUGE fan of thrice. I love how they stuck to the original for the most part but added their own flare to it as well in that last chorus. Super well done!

i've loved thrice for ~15 years and just discovered dayseeker a couple weeks ago. was SO excited to see that this existed, and it lived up to my expectations. this is an incredible cover! the screams at the end OMG. (i didn't realize til now that his screams are actually pretty similar to dustin's - suuuper dirty power fry - helps explain why i fucking love both so much!)
Thrice is my favorite band, heard this cover years back and thought it was good but completely forgot about it. Just recently got into this band and rediscovered they were the ones who did this cover. A nice reminder.

As someone who has listened to Thrice since Identity Crisis and newly discovering Dayseeker, I can only say how overjoyed I was to see that they did a cover. This is the best tour combo that hasn't happened yet.
