Rory Rodriguez is one of the most painfully underrated vocalists in the entire genre.
He really isn't though. Everytime I see a conversation about best Metalcore singers, Rory is being pointed out by a lot of people. I think a lot of people might not listen to Dayseeker themselves as they don't like their style but acknowledge Rory as one of the best singers.
@@hunk8299 I'd say he is one of the most underrated vocalists period. I think by now, he has the credibility he deserves in the metalcore scene but outside of the metalcore scene he's not really known which is crazy when his clean vocals are some of the best vocals out there across any genre
@@hunk8299 maybe underrated isn't the right word, but not as popular as he should be. The people who know him think he's great, it's just that more people should know who he is
i would have to say that in this genre of music in my opinoion the 4 best clean vocalists would have to be Tyler Carter(Issues), Rory Rodriguez(Dayseeker), Jonny CraIg(Slaves), Brian Burkheiser( I Prevail) in my opinion these 4 are the best and most talented but as of late Rory has been my absolute favorite it's funny I actually stumbled onto this band I was listening to music on RUclips and just letting it play on shuffle basically but the song Sleep Tslk came on and I was hooked literally right after I heard that song I went and downloaded their entire discography

I think Rory is becoming my favorite clean singer in Metalcore for sure. When he hits the chorus its game over. Flawless cover.

jesus.. ive been listening to Rory for years.. and im a huge fan of his talents but ive never heard him hit this level of dynamic vocals.. holy crap. i have no idea why dayseeker isnt more popular.

Well that makes sense, I have always felt this emo/ rock/ metal was a better showcase for emotion through the vocals. So to see the hits written by a team of people, brought over to the power of singers like Rory is a magical thing!

Rory has an incredibly powerful voice, good god. Even more emotional and better than the original. I'm blown away.

This is beautiful. I've always prefer ed male singers voices over women's even though Adele is an amazing singer, so I love when bands with male singers cover women's songs :)

Recently became a Dayseeker fan. Absolutely love his singing/clean voice, all their songs with him just regularly singing are my favorites. Their heavy stuff isn't bad, but I just much prefer their stuff like this.

I just got this song referred to me by a fiend, and whoa. The original version by Adele is striking, but this... This actually gave me goose flesh and hit me pretty hard. The vocalist just has this depth that is incredibly impressive. Glad I was referred to check this out! Will be added on my spotify (and was just downloaded)
