Rory's such an awesome dude. Got to talk with him one on one at a show once in Orlando... I had just been thru a really ugly relationship that ended, and told him how his music has kept me going & that it's been the main thing that's been there for me. He looked me in the eyes the whole time & I could tell he genuinely cared and had a lot of empathy for me, and was appreciative to see how he was positively impacting someone else's life. I listen to Dayseeker every day. I've never felt drawn to a band more than I have to them, and Rory is such a great, good-hearted front-man. Thank you Rory for for what you do. Looking forward to seeing you guys again sometime soon.
damn this interview really hit home. the earth will turn hits home so much and it really helped me cope with the bottled up hatred in my heart and the hurt i was feeling. as generic as that statement sounds im not saying that song save my life, but more so helped me with a really troubling time in my life. their music really is amazing, if it can truly help people out in some of the hardest time we face in our lives. their messages are extremely powerful and moving.
Saw you at the 2018 Warped tour in Dallas. Got a pic with you during Don Broco. I've had custody of both my boys (because of their mother issues) since they were 4 and 8. They are now 19 and 24. I was there in Dallas with my oldest son (24) in Dallas. All of us are making the trip to Tampa to see the Warped Tour. Can't wait to see Dayseeker again!!
Love to see a band that came about when I was young. I was 12 years old when their first album was released. Very similar to the likes of Atreyu, in fact, reminds me of Alex V. And Brandon Saller's backup vocals! Rock on for life, Rory! 🎸🤘🏻🥁🗡
My mother was also a drug addict. She ended up with pancreatic cancer and passed 3 years ago. I miss her so fucking much and wish she would’ve gotten off the shit or she would still be here. I can’t tell you how much it hurts. Especially when it’s your mother. So I can relate Rory. 😞
holy shit you guys could at least have had the decency to not play the music so loudly and obnoxiously through the entirety of him telling about such a personal thing

He is so strong. But this interview shows how much he is hurting without showing it, he just wants everyone to know life gets better.
