A broker hit me up and asked if I’m interested in a load going to Houston from Dallas. Long story short, it was paying 450 best he could do was 500. I know someone will take it it’s just not me. I told him I can do it for 1k and straight up just laughed
I have a 2001 classic XL with the 12.7 L total 2,300,000 miles 1.6m since it was rebuilt debating whether to go with a crate engines or rebuild this engine.
Might be cheaper to just buy a brand new crate engine and just have someone install it because depending on where you go those out of frame rebuilds can get pretty pricey 😅
The futon is fresh bro. And you can't lose with the big boy refrigerator. Have you found a nice size freezer to go along with it? The freezer inside them can be small. They're all small when it comes to in cab refrigerator and freezer units. Good video. The chrome looks good and that futon is fresh.
This one is a dorm style fridge & freezer so it’s actually not too bad, I’ve had it for almost 3 years, it holds a good amount of food , it won’t last a month, but 2 weeks of select food choices have worked pretty good for me , no complaints on my end with it
Is it better to buy a newer used truck? How much have you invested in this truck to keep it running? Was it worth buying and would you do it again if you could go back in time? Or would you stop yourself?
It all comes down to personal preference, if you’re planning to run OTR I’d suggest a newer truck because I feel like it’ll be more comfortable, if you’re gonna run local or regional, less than 2000 miles a week, an older truck would be ideal, but that’s just my opinion, my 2nd truck is still running locally around houston pulling containers with no issues. So when I buy my next 3 trucks, I’m planning to do it this exact same way, they only difference will be that they’ll more than likely be automatics.
You are destined for greatness bro keep it up

A classic or fld will mostly likely be my first truck. But it definitely has to have a detroit diesel
