I have had the fortunate luck to meet a handful of very successful people (10X Dean here) and the funny thing is that every single one didn't try to get me to buy something to understand how they got where they did. Everyone was more than willing to talk about things like hard work, believing in yourself and your product, honesty, and how to treat customers. Sure there were some "in-the-weeds" stuff that are specific to each industry; however the fundamentals are pretty much the same. No book, no programs, and for sure nothing like getting rich. You are not going to get people to buy your business class when you say things like "the work is hard, the hours are long, you are not going to make a lot for a long time and you are going to fail a lot, but you have to believe in yourself and not be afraid of failure." Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.....
When you mention this to friends or family members who get involved in these scams, they'll tell you that your thinking negative.

@@daniell3235 Don Lapre may have been ostentatious, but I still have his making money package and it still holds up to any of the side hustle people to this day. As a matter of fact, a lot of current hustle programs are carbon copies of Don's work. It still works, and I break it out from time to time.

Great video, Spencer! Unfortunately, I fell for a Dean Graziosi pitch a few years ago. Thankfully, it wasn't the real estate scam. I was starting to get serious about my business and needed guidance so I signed up for his monthly group coaching sessions at $60/month. It took me three months to realize that it was all going to be very general mindset advice that didn't have any practical use. So I guess I lucked out in that I only sunk $180 in his "training". What was really sad were the types of other people that were also on the calls. They were COMPLETELY oblivious to anything business or even financial-related and when Dean asked them for questions or feedback, they were asking about how to get loans with bad credit, how to stop watching so much TV and be productive, and how to "stay motivated". From the first session, I kept wondering, "How did these people get here? Isn't this supposed to be real training for serious business owners?" Boy, was I wrong.
Exactly. All that low quality mindset rubbish instead of practical business tools. That mindset stuff can be picked up from a free RUclips video.
You spend 180$, that gold compare to the 600$ I spend with Tai Lopez and right after watching the first video I knew it was bs. Some stuff just did not click. I wonder how many spend their live saving on them.

Love your videos Spencer. Hot tip, if you're going to be shooting outdoors in bright LV, use a bounceboard or flexfill to light your face more and you can turn down the camera exposure (or use ND filter on lens). Flexfill is like $15 and well worth it. Keep it up!
Spencer is frugal as heck... I guess he has one crewman doing all the film , audio, etc...

I agree. Guys like him and Coffeezilla deserve Mr. Beast/Pewdiepie like numbers if we’re being honest. Everyone should be educated on this because we all can get curious by ads - it’s just human nature.

One thing I really appreciate in your videos is your facial animation. They are genuine and instantaneous further impacting what you are saying.

How to know if it is a scam or not: Ask them about their success rate percentage.

I know your just trying to do what works with the shooting and moving shots and being on location more but i really feel like just seeing you in your chair with that background is best it gives a solid point to come back to as we go through the story and feels like it lends a air of legitimacy to you and what your saying the style can work but in your videos i like the sense of stability coming back on focusing on you gives throughout the story and that doesn't feel the same in this video

Mortgage broker here. 10% origination fees is insane. For any typical mortgage (conventional, FHA, VA, etc) the absolute max you can charge is 3% but even then it usually is considered high cost and you can only charge about 2.25%. There are some hard money and Non-QM loans that you can charge maybe 4-5% but that's because it's a significantly harder loan to finance

Tony has always seemed pretty authentic/congruent to me (although I get why some people see him as a charlatan) but Dean on the other hand isn't convincing at all. So I feel you, he gives me that slimy kind of vibe too.

Its not the first time Tony connected with the wrong people. In some of his material he mentions how he got scammed by 'business partners' to a tune of a few hundred thousand. He probably did his background work, but Dean's lawsuit came out after he was doing the coaching stuff with him. Oh, live and learn.

Yeah, I'm a long-time Tony Robbins fan. But I wish he hadn't partnered with Dean. I haven't watched this video, but it doesn't seem that Dean's done much THAT amazing. Teaching people how to make money is the easiest business model out there. But Tony is the real deal. I wish he'd partner with someone like Mel Robbins, who's contributed some life-changing tools to the world! (5 Second Rule and her High-Five Habit--both backed by science), or Robin Sharma, who's one of the best in this field.

I took Dean's real estate programs about 12 yrs ago and followed the steps and it worked for me. I made more money in one deal alone than I had previously made in 2yrs of working my normal job. Knowing what I know about his programs, they will work for everyone if you go for it completely but most people won't take all the steps. It took me 6 months to do my first deal but I never gave up and it paid off. Hope this comment helps someone.

@@VinMokay yes, it's a lot easier to point at Dean and say it is his fault that they didn't get the results than to admit to themselves that they just didn't take the steps. I'll admit that Dean is very persuasive and he can make it sound easier than it actually is because it definitely was not easy but if he had not convinced me that I could do it, then I wouldn't have went for it. He can also hook people that truly aren't meant for the things he teaches but there is no way that he could know who will succeed and who won't up front. If he had met me before I signed up for his program, he probably wouldn't have bet that I would be one to succeed. I was a broke, ignorant, black out drunk, atheist beach bum before his infomercial convinced me I could be something different. Just as no one would have bet on him either. He was a trailer park kid and I'm pretty sure I remember him saying that he had to wear his sisters hand me downs.
You're totally correct, not everyone uses these information to get results. It's easier said than done, but I believe the magic starts from taking that hola step and onto the process. The process never stops I realized. I've actually picked a few vital tips from Dean that upgraded my life style as a young African man. And I'm still kicking noticing other young folks look up to me for directions. Despite nobody has it all figured out. One more thing we are all in the game to win so I don't blame Dean if he ever focuses on selling out, I mean who wouldn't want to succeed in a thing they dedicate there time to.

A fake Linkedin profile with a reputable company position just sent me a link to their seminar and it sounded really sketchy to me… so glad I ran into your post cuz there’s hardly any bad reviews on this guy and about his scam.
