Got the Tmobile $50-50G per month hotspot plan, using it on the Nighthawk M5 in a rural area. Works pretty good for multiple devices doing computer work and browsing but for streaming, not so good. I'll catch around 7 mbps on a good day but average around 3-5 mbps of speed. Ended up canceling my service today. Off to the next service until I find the one that meets my needs in the rural area 😡
Just out of curiosity, what would be the best hotspot plan for a Gamer on the go. Getting throttled is disconcerting. And so far unlimited doesn't mean unlimited. So what type of plan is best?
I did a mobile phone plan from boost 60$ a month 35g of high speed lte 5g/4g if you’re in an area with good cell service it’s a really good pick. Consistent reliable fast enough to play.
So question my house can’t get WiFi but I have 5G service on my phone so could I use a hotspot for streaming services? And the occasional gaming sesssion
I use Visible Wireless. $25/month. Watching this video in 1080p. I tether to my Linux PC, share to a router and I have a full wifi setup. Just gotta do a little networking !!!
Im just moving into a new home. The previous owner says - Internet services providers are AT&T or Comcast Xfinity. I want to use the Tmobile dual hotspot and wifi device. Will this device work or do I have to use one of those two companies?
These just seem like Low cap Mobile Broadband solutions I don’t know about in the US, here In Australia, One of our larger companies has taken “mobile” internet and made it Home Internet with 500GB/Unlimited packages, low pings, Great Speeds (for us anyway, I’ve peaked at over 200Mbps down/100Mbps up on the 4G Option) for $75-90 per month, $55-66 USD.
Cell towers would get over subscribed if too many hotspot users were all trying to stream unlimited packets at the same time over the tower's finite bandwidth. It would be like rush hour near a huge metro city on a highway that only has so many lanes available. So, yes, cell tower bandwidth capacity is a finite resource and each user is grabbing a piece.
Visible is good IF you don't mind constant buffering on damn near every click and super SLOWWWW speeds, also you're going to be disconnecting and stressing out at how much you have to fight with getting reconnected... you won't be happy with Visible unless you don't use the internet. Saying you'll get SOLID NATIONAL COVERAGE is just wrong there buddy!!!
@@allgasnobrakes530 I'm going to give AT&T a shot. Waiting on the Velocity 2 from Ebay and getting the 50 dollar 100gb hotspot from AT&T. IDK but I'll have 30 days to return the hotspot device, and I can just cancel the plan. T-mo and Metro by T-Mobile both give you 50gb of hotspot for 50 bucks... and Boost Mobile has 35gb hotspot for 50 bucks... main thing for me is the gb's and being able to maintain good internet speeds and connection. AT&T gives the biggest bang for the buck with the 100gb... so I'll give them a shot. VISIBLE IS JUST A STRESS CREATER FOR ME DESPITE THE UNLIMITED HOTSPOT I'M NOW GETTING FOR ONLY 25 BUCKS PER MONTH.
Hi what do you recommend for a semi truck for gaming and tv

Informative but I'm still no closer to making a decision
For the cheapest and most affordable plan just used for streaming would you have a recommended company or plan
have you reviewed the Travlfi hot spot? I'm thinking of purchasing one for my RV travel trailer.

TBH, the U.S. is far behind most other countries where almost all aspects of broadband are concerned.
