Ever try and eat while playing a console at the same time anyone? Well i have a number of times in the past with a few fighting games mostly MK-X and 11, Injustice 2, even a few FPS and GTA5 as well. Lol. Should record it sometime because I was shocked at how well i happened to do during those times. 😂😮

The Suicide Mission in Mass Effect 2 was once completed by some absolute goblin who opted to take the worst possible outcome: Getting as many squadmates as possible killed... without Shepard dying. Now that is a puzzle game.

    • @renamoda5450
      @renamoda5450 6 месяцев назад +6

I've done exactly that,by mistake. I intended to go for the worst outcome,to have everyone killed plus Shepard. But i've done one loyalty mission too many(i think it was Jacob's) and only Shep and 2 squadmates lived at the end. It's the minimum possible amount, actually. As long as 2 or more companions live,Shepard lives. Trust me,i've tried.

8:11 Apparently there was a glitch in the Sims 2 Base Game back in 2004 that prevented players from using build mode so you had to have sims live on empty lots and use cheats to get toilets on your lot or your sims would pee themselves. That glitch was eventually fixed in the Sims 2 university expansion pack which came out early 2005 but that glitch made players feel they must move into prebuilt houses as you can’t build.

This reminds me of one of my earliest memories: when I was 4, my parents had a bakery, so I would have hours on end playing a handful of games. The game I played most was a Sesame Street game, and I discovered a secret that entertained me for years to come. In a room where I was supposed to put shaped blocks on shelves, I could instead drop them on Elmo's head. Every few blocks, he would say, "Ouch! Please don't drop blocks on Elmo's head!"
Pure enjoyment for a bored child

I'd like to mention the Ness's Bat challenge in Earthbound!
A portion of the game gives you control over Jeff in Winters. Normally you're supposed to beeline it through a few challenges and meet Jeff's father to rescue Ness from a situation, but some players will play the first section (once you get out of the boy's school) for hours, selling salt packets and cookies, in order to purchase a very expensive bat for Ness that you shouldn't be able to afford that early on. If you manage to fight enough goats, dogs, and crows, you can sell their periodic drops to (VERY) gradually earn the money to buy the bat available in the shop outside the Boy's school. If you can manage that, Jeff essentially brings Ness a massively overpowered bat that he shouldn't have yet and it makes a portion of the game significantly easier. I tried the challenge once I read about it, fell in love with it, and I can't play the game without doing it every time now, despite the fact it can take hours to earn enough cash to buy it.

ah the "driving backwards" in Mario Kart is a classic. When someone that knew they had lost the race would then turn around and just make chaos.
    Other classics from my time:
    - Worms Armageddon: Rope racing
    - Civilization IV: One city challenge
    - Using console game peripherals or special controllers with games they were not intended to be used with. For instance playing any fighting game on the PSX with the DDR mat

We had a pretty intense "Warthog Jousting" game set up back in the Halo 1 days. We called it "Hog Wild". We turned shields up to max, and life up to max, and avoided shooting except for rockets. The goal was to run down your opponent, so we avoided shooting except for rockets. With the maxed out shields and health you could survive just about anything. Rockets were only to be used defensively to derail the 'hog coming to run you down.
    So much fun.

I like climbing mountains in any game that isn't specifically about climbing mountains. There's no flashy graphics or powerful rewards or rare achievements to recognize my accomplishments and show off to the rest of the world, just the quiet satisfaction of knowing I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way.

  • @Darkman9000

Playing a survival horror game and killing all the monsters. In a lot of those games, they have ways to keep players from doing this by either having infinitely respawning enemies or making the resources tight enough that you can't wasting them on every enemy. It's usually possible on the easiest difficulty, and likely something more easily scared players will wind up doing. Some games even seem to be designed with an awareness of this possibility, and thusly make it that playing the game on easy will mean only unlocking the basic goodies, maybe even limiting what endings you can get. Not always the case, and even fewer games consider making it a bad idea to massacre the monsters. Silent Hill 3 is far the only game that comes to mind where killing too many monsters is actually a detriment to the player since that's how you get the game's bad ending.

Even the developers of Prototype knew that not killing civilians would be impossible. There is a Nice Guy achievement that says complete the game while consuming 10 civilians or fewer. They even knew that you would need to or accidentally consume at least a few civilians. I got the Nice Guy achievement but it was not easy. It's hard to resist that sweet sweet biomass.

On a track like Martinsville or Bristol, I'd be able to block the entire road and eventually once cars stopped moving for long enough, they'd just get totally removed from the game and then it'd be like a 4-car race. When we were kids my brother would occasionally ask me to play something with him that I wasn't good at and/or didn't really enjoy so I'd come up with the stupidest ways to play. Sport games were a good opportunity for this, I think I played a Fifa game exactly once and I had us playing "Own Goals Only", when it was a golf game we did "Most Strokes Wins".
It wasn't even just with that sort of game, I was never as good as him even though he's younger, and our preferences at that time were wildly different so it was usually more fun to make up some goofy rules (he definitely regretted asking me to play if we attempted to play properly because he found me frustratingly bad). He had a demo of one of the Worms games and we regularly played "First to Destroy Their Own Team" or "No Direct Hits" (which is fun actually). We also used to play some of the Burn Out games crash modes while blindfolded because that was extra hilarious at the time.

The idea just amused me so much the story is fried in my memory, :)

When I spotted the title, I thought I was going to see maybe power leveling in FF8 as the enemy's scale with level so...not exactly what I thought but was interesting.

Warthog Jousting is the reason I was good at driving in Halo. I was the guy who could either drift into enemies or was the best driver you ever had and could set up perfect shots.

Both GTA and Saints Row. Just cruising follwing the trafic while listening to the radio. Just like in RDR2. Just chilling and getting your head right. Underappreciated. No flashing adrenaline loud sound stuff. Just you and chill. For those of you more nature types. The Hunter: Call of the Wild.

Grad Theft Auto 3 Vice city requires (I think it's 350 people) to be deded in missions.
My roommate took on this challenge and managed to beat the game with only 200 npc deaths.
Jumping out of cars before they exploded mostly.
    Very hard!
    We called it "Nice City".

In Spider-Man 2, they also make you ride a bike & play as Mary Jane, which is also the wrong way to play Spider-Man 2

As a kid my bro and i used to play NFS most wanted 2005 and i found a bug in a race where if you drive backward you can pass through those arrows telling you turn here and let us get out of the race and just drive in the entire city it was so much fun.

I remember good karma runs were hard to max out infamous 1 because the npc new yorkers would stop running directly into fire where i threw 6 lightning grenades
